Poop, Smith Machine Squats feel worse on my knees, I haven't done those in years. I think it's been talked about a lot that they seem to be more detrimental to your knees than other movements.

Stretch your quads so that they loosen their "pull" on your patella.. that can alleviate a lot of the discomfort. Mega dose the fish oils..

I don't care how big and solid you think your legs are, they are not as good as they can be... and Poop/SS are right, you will grow in other areas as well.. it's a win-win situation.
 
Think of squatting like the first time you let me piitb. It didn't feel right the first time doing that either, and you bit your lip so hard to cope with the pain that it started to bleed. But now two or three bouts are just a warm up for the old wine bottle.

If you are squatting correctly, you really don't put that much stress on the quads/knee caps. Lots of people use wraps....I am fixing to order some myself.

wraps help with patella 'tracking'.

But squatting correctly or not, you still can have problems BJ. People who squat heavy with good form for years have problems with their knees.

And the stress you speak of comes from working the muscle itself. A worked muscle tightens, in this case the quad pulling on the patella (as it is attached).

I know this...I was just saying there are ways around putting extreme stress on your knees everytime you squat...CAN problems still occur? Absolutely...but squatting with correct form, and using knee wraps CAN help with putting LESS stress on them...........

well a majority of my problem is i have blown out the fluid sacs underneath both of my knee caps snowboarding, i got a baseball sized lump of fluid underneath the knee cap (read below not behind) and then it drained all down the side of my calf into my foot so it looked like someone went up and down my legs with a beatin stick from the fluid drainage and bruising.. nasty stuff i got it on video on m phone but cant get it to send to my computer... either way i dont know that any kind of wraps will stop the poppin and stress i feel on em but couldnt hurt to try.
 
The real issue with squatting a knees is the fact that the cartiledge in your knee joint is only about the size of a silver dollar. So the weight of your upper body + weight of the barbell + all the plates / total area of two silver dollars = a f*cking whole lotta psi on your knees.

pretty good day. i took the Test back down to 100mg ed but the Tren is still 150mg ed.

Me, I did 2 times a day split up.. and seen INSANE gaines on the weights. ITCHY back from the DHT... but its whatever.

Not body weight... but lifts. I think at the time I was plateaued at 100's for 10-12, and I got up to 130's for a good 8-12 (Depending on the energy levels)

Yeah... I didnt gain weight.. but I had a nice shift of fat to muscle... Definately one of my favorite compounds... strength and hardness alll around.

i wish we had 200`s. biggest ones are 145`s :(

sounds like chad and many others of us gonna have to invest and get those bands to add more weight/resistance. not to mention im sure its a great workout and would make most of us explode simply for the fact that its new and our bodies cannot adapt fast enuff.
