Bar body

I was cleaning off and I couldn't help but notice that there was this individual with his shirt off and his arms (bi/tri), chest and FRONT DELT were extremely well-developed, but his side delts, rear delts, back, and of course lower look like representative of someone just working out. I heard this was called a 'bar body' because only the glamour muscles needed when going to the bar are worked out and nothing else.

I've seen this from time to time of course these people were wearing their shirts, but this literally blew me away b/c you could vividly see the vast difference between the muscles being hit and clearly the ones that were not. His front delt looked like a softball was there, but the side and rear there was absolutly nothing.

Okthis probably will just turn into a statement vs. deposition. Anyways I found it entertaining to say the least sorta when you see something freakish in nature.
 
Curls for the girls. I think that is pretty common of the male species

Most non-body builder/ fitness types will neglect rear delts, back and don't even think about legs.

I would say over the last 25 years or so I see people just doing chest and shoulder press type exercise along with curls, then straight to 7 minute abs, and a quick superficial cardio.

Legs my friends,... chicks dig muscular legs trust me !!!;)
 
i am working at a bar by the beach for the summer...there's a bar body epidemic here, and it's amplified because a lot of the clowns are walking around with their shirts off during the daytime

whatever makes them happy i guess, at least they are exercising.
 
The more and more they only train one specific muscle group the worse it gets. Starting off it isn't quite as noticible, but when it starts looking like your a somalian victim in certain areas of your body and a bb'er in other parts then there is a problem.



DONT even get me started about the bar body guys who JUICE too...lol taking gear ONLY for their biceps.
 
The question is.... do they walk around in shorts too?

hahaha that's another good point...you see a lot of jeans even though it's 90 degrees out and the place is literally on the beach

i've also seen a lot of guys with huge arms and chests but big stomachs too

And it's not even in an attempt to train or tone the abs, but rather to punch out as many reps as possible so that at the end of the day they can whine to someone, saying "I do 3000 situps every day, and I still don't have a sixpack :whiner:"
