Issues with Poseidon Clumping
We have had some issues arise with Poseidon settling and clumping. Fist thing I want to say is that this is not an issue with Quality. The quality of Poseidon is in no way compromised when it appears hard or clumpy. The benefits are 100% whether it is a fine powder or a settled. The issue is a cosmetic issue only. I will explain where we are and what we are doing.
When Poseidon is produced it is a very fine powder. We have the manufacturer use a process that ensures all of the particles are “micronized”. We do this in order to achieve the highest level “Homogenized” Blend possible. I will not go into the actual size of the particles, but they are so fine that the blend is consistent throughout each batch. This process produces an amazing product but also presents challenges. When you micronize a product with hygroscopic properties, you actually increase the potential of moisture attraction. These properties are why Poseidon mixes virtually instantly in any liquid, it is also why Poseidon is prone to clumping. When you have a very fine, very hygroscopic product, it only takes an extremely small amount of moisture to make the particles “bind” together. This is what causes the “Clumping” or “Settling”.
Due to the response about a few cosmetic issues with Poseidon, we have taken steps to improve the aesthetic properties of Poseidon. With the cooperation of our manufacturer, we have put steps into place to lessen the potential of Clumping. Some of the steps we have taken are the insertion of Silica packs into all of our products, reducing the humidity level in the processing rooms while Poseidon is being produced, shortening the actual production process, as well as several other steps that we have taken to ensure the quality is not affected.
These new production steps will be noticed in our new products that are currently in the manufacturing process. The new products will be released in late August and they include- “Poseidon- Natural Performance Enhancer”, “Blast- Kinetic Energy Releaser”, “Swell- Energy and Performance Optimizer” and “Abyss- Deep Sleep Formula”. This will be an entirely new product line and will be produced with all the improved processes.
For the Poseidon 450 gram bottles that we currently have in stock, we guarantee that the quality is exactly the same. There are a few steps that you can take when using Poseidon if you have an issue with clumping.
1. Squeeze the bottle while rotation in your hand. You will feel the contents breaking apart.
2. Shake the bottle for about 15 seconds.
3. You can repeat these steps a couple of times if you still have clumping.
4. Do not open the bottle immediately after shaking. Let the fine particles of Poseidon settle a bit. This will ensure that you do not loose any quality material from the bottle.
5. After opening the bottle, ensure that you reinsert the seal into the lid and close the bottle tightly.
