X-Dreams Gabob?

GABOB - - This is another natural substance related to GABA called GABOB (also known as aminohydroxybutyric acid or Buxamin). This has been used in the treatment of epilepsy, but it is a molecule that is very similar to GHB. What is interesting is that a recent study showed that 300 mg. s.c. of GABOB significantly increased HGH, prolactin and cortisol levels in a similar way to GHB, within 60-minutes. So the legal molecule of GABOB has many of the beneficial features of GHB, without its sleep inducing effects. (Source: Stimulatory effects of gamma aminohydroxybutyric acid on growth hormone, prolactin and cortisol release in man. Takahara J, Yunoki S, Yakushiji W, Yamauchi J, Hosogi H, Ofufi T). For pure tablets of GABOB, please see aminohydroxybutyric acid.

Isnt this the main ingredient. According to this it dosnt have sleep inducing effects raises growth hormone as stated but increases prolactin and cortisol or am I wrong?

Keep in mind that it's comparing the sleep effects to GHB, a sometimes illegal and recreational drug. GHB also acts at different receptors than the 3-OH-GABA, which is GABA-B vs. GABA-A receptors, respectively. So what it said is that 3-OH-GABA doesn't have the same sleep inducing effects as GHB, and not that 3-OH-GABA has none at all.

If X-Dream has a GABA agonist, it will most likely have an inhibitory or relaxing effect. This doesn't necessarily put you to sleep, but it helps create a relaxed environment so you can get there. I think alcohol is a type of GABA agonist, and I've heard people using that to relax and help them fall asleep sleep (even though it might actually disrupt your sleep later in the night).

This is just what I was able to gather.

That's interesting about prolactin and cortisol, though, and I wonder if there's anything more specific about this that someone can point out with regards to X-Dream.

This is not our main ingredient. This is actually a supporting ingredient. The stuff works wonders initially but it is very easy for your body to get accustomed to it. At first it feels amazing and sort of gives you a numb/relaxed type of feeling. Once you get accustomed to it that starts to wear off, however, you still get the amazingly vivid dreams from it. I have tested this stuff July of 06 and that is what I noticed from it. The actual main ingredient is extremely novel and I feel you guys are going to LOVE this stuff!

As for the rise in cortisol and prolactin, the levels were very small if you read through the study. Not to mention 300mg injected is MUCH different than 300mg oral.

you are correct, you seem to know some science on CNS compounds..... that's rare for most people....I like that! I have been studying GABA and other CNS drugs for about 4 years now and find it all amazing.

It is interesting stuff, but I only have basic understanding from a few neuropsychology courses in addition to what I read for fun. I actually just finished a degree in computer science... I'm free for hiring, need a programmer?

Is the exact quantity of this per recommended serving available to be released? I've read 500mg - 1000mg is good for HGH release.

so it's not very specific, they could just be referring to maximum thresholds of improvement, and really there might be diminishing returns the higher you go in that range.
