Oddly enough, the all inclusive we stayed at seemed to be a favorite of europeans.
The ruins were pretty darn cool, though you have to run the gauntlet of cheap trinket sellers (calls of "Honeymooners/newlyweds, come look!")

I go for the Mayan ruins and the beach. Proally check out the clubs a couple of nights...And we will be staying at the Sun Palace
