Hey fellas, I really like NOW's product line, but I don't know alot about IGF-1 yet. I saw this on NP and was wondering if anyone has tried it and has results
thanks

Deer Antler Velvet Extract
33mg **
IGF-1 (Insulin Growth Factor-1)
82.5ng **

IGF-1(Insulin Growth Factor-1) is a compound produced primarily in the liver through a conversion of HGH (Human Growth Hormone). HGH is secreted by the pituitary gland and is essential for growth and optimum immune system function*. This dietary supplement will be a promising addition to the nutrition regimen of fitness enthusiasts.

So this is some sort of oral igf-1 right? Know that oral bioavailability of igf-1 is very low. To date there is no credible evidence that IGF-1 is absorbed from the oral mucosa ... Also it is most likely that orally administered IGF-1 will be digested in the small intestine to the amino acids that comprise the molecule.

If you are looking into igf-1 ... go with the real injectable stuff ... Don't spend your precious dollars on some scam. It's just too easy, for supplement companies to sell the oral version ... there is a lot of hype surrounding IGF-1, and everybody wants to try it, but nobody wants to pin.
