Day 16- Overview.

Performance - Pretty good.

Endurance - Fatigue obviously set in but after the first two games i was just getting warm.

Muscle burn - None, but fatigue was on and off depending on how much time i has to rest.

Recovery - The days following will reveal.

Muscle gains - pics to tell.

Fat loss - some.

Mood - Positive energetic.


Day 16 - Wow 4 games in a row, the format changed when a few teams didnt show up so we played all the games on saturday (i am writing this after the fact). If i t wasnt for giant blisters on my heels and foot pads id say i felt great.

Meal highlight of the day - Coconut curry prawns, rice, veggies.
 
Day 17 - Overview.
4 hour drive home and lots of rest sum up today.

Endurance - SORE , the true test will be the days after today..

Muscle burn - None minimal activity.

Recovery - Nothing could prevent this soreness but how long it lasts should be interesting.

Muscle gains - pics to tell.

Fat loss - some.

Mood - Depleted, but semi satisfied, i deserve to be tired.


Day 17 - It hurts to do everything, tight aching muscles are everywhere, we got 4th.... not bad until i tell you only 5 teams showed up. Lots of optimism as we faced the best treams in the province and held our own with rookies, retired guys and some out of town filler players. I played every minute because i could, had limited subs and i luckily avoided serious injury.

Meal highlight of the day - Eggs benedict, bacon, fresh melon, orange juice.

Endurance - I am already less sore as opposed to increasingly sore, no DOMS here!!

Recovery - Good!.

Mood -Woke up feeling sore but had some energy today, nice little rebound, got up and cleaned my house a bit.


Day 18 - Another rest day, Like i mentioned above i have recovered some already to my astonishment and i think by tommorow ill hit the gym. That is good news for this stack. My upper back, neck and obliques are still tender and tight but moving is loosening things up.

Meal highlight of the day - Souvlaki pork, mixed wild rice, bbq'd green beans.
 
Day 19- Overview.
I downed two scoops of SE , ive only had 1 in the past due to workout timing and fear of sleep interuption, but two scoops fired me up. Arms to follow.

Standing alt dumbell curl - 15x15, 35x12, 45x10, 50x6

Muscle gains - Im not as buff as ive been in the past but considering ive been focusing on rugby and cardio with minimal hypertrophy i should be thinner. Felt hard and forearms looked more vascular.

Fat loss - Defenitely noticing this aspect now.

Mood - Positive energetic.


Day 19 - Only my upper back and groin is tight now, great recovery time. Arm workout felt good, im noticing i am leaner and depending on how much gas i have, or how much ive eaten my stomach is actually flat!!

Meal highlight of the day - Omelette with all the fixins, hashbrowns, head lettuce salad..

Really taking IntraXCell and SE for what their worth man. Haven't seen many people test these products as extremely as you are, 4 rugby games in a row??:jaw: Awesome stuff man!
 
Day 20- Overview.
I downed two scoops of SE, did 10 minutes of sprints on the eliptical with heartrates ranging from 130 BPM to 176 BPM, quick legs to follow.

Lying ham curl - 40x12, 50x10, 50x10
Seated Quad ext - 65x12, 125x10, 170x10
Calf raises - (toes out, toes in, toes straight) 10,10,5x95 , 10,10x145 , 10x190

Day 20 - Workout felt pretty good although short lived, my brief workout was better than nothing IMO. Have to work 13 hours tonight hopefully my meals wont suffer.

Meal highlight of the day - Chicken, veggies, rice.
 
Day 21 - Overview.
In two weeks i am going to vancouver to learn info about a company im going to help start, then i begin a new schedule where i will be working 14 hour days 4 days a week but will be on a set schedule and should improve sleep quality.

Day 21 - Rest day today, was up till 4am as per second job on thursdays, then got up at 830 am to take my son to his kindergarten orientation. First thoughts were to hit the gym after then i laid down and decided to sleep a bit more before eating and heading off to work. My appetite has hit high gear and im chompin at the bit to eat in the morning.

Meal highlight of the day - Beef quesadilla low fat sour cream.

There were a few cameras around, i was pre occupied :), we took a few team photos tho some from the fields freshly after and some from the restaurant where we tipped back a few. Ill se if anyone can upload the to a site where i have access, i also need to post my pre cycle pics. We bought a new PDA its called the HTC p4000 it has a 2.0 mega pixel camera and internet explorer, bluetooth, windows media, video cam, excel, word......... so i may use our digi for consistency but this new toy makes it way easier bc i can just email pics to my email. Pump you up ive tried brazillian jiu jitsu and rolled with the local MMA'ers. I usually surprize people and my power tired others out, its hard to finess someone who can just over power you, in the end im not the type to want to ugly up my pretty face and its hard to fit anther sport into my life with 2 jobs and soon to be 3 via a new buisness, a 5 year old boy, gym, rugby, footabll (flag starts soon), girlfriend and POKER!!!! thanks for the kind words, cheers.

Day 21 - Decent strength, feeling hard. Im really looking forward to another two months on IXL and Steeledge My updates are sort of mundane as this product seems to climb slow and steady and is not something that will cause giant momentum shifts, but with consistency as with anything i see e good potential to further advance beyond where i would otherwise be with out AEN.

Day 23- Overview.
30 Minute run with 10 minutes at 8 degree incline, at 8 Kms HR hovering around 160 this is high cardio zone for me age. Chest and calves to follow.

Day 23 - Went to a different gym today and it was pretty busy. Awesome treadmill workout and cardio gains are not only impressive but it was easy to keep going. Weights felt good but my form is difficult to keep perfect as my weights move up i need to stick to the basics.

Ham and honey pinapple glaze, baked whole wheat macaroni and cheese, pan fried garlic and olive oil beans.

The parathesia is usually the strongest when you first take IXL. However, your body will build up a tolerance, and this sensation will diminish to almost nothing like you mentioned. This by no means suggests that your carnosine levels are not continuing to increase ;)

Good log as usual, keep it up, I am on a Beta-alanine product for about 5 weeks now and the effects are really starting to happen, strength especially......

I think that for someone your size, 6 caps (4g, BA), is pretty much your "maintenance dose." The lowest dose supported by research is 3.2g per day, and the highest being, 6.4g per day. I'd stick with what you are doing :cool:

BTW, "back in the day," the directions on IXL called for you to take ALL 6 caps at once....lol....talk about getting the tingling sensation! But after about 2-3 weeks, I didnt even tingle when I took all 6 caps at once :eek:

LOL i say alot of things, I got the 3-ad for free by posting post #2660 in AX thread. I also have a 30 pill sample i won from AN of RPM. Rip'd your a week ahead of me im glad to hear the improvements keep on going!!

Has anyone else on this stack noticed that you sweat like a pig, i mean sweating sheets in the gym, sweat whilst i sleep, sweat if i hold my GF hand.... its constant. Maybe its just me, maybe its my metabolism speeding up, maybe its cause im in better shape, maybe its cause im off the couch, lol.

Day 26 - Quiet day, felt drained, will modify diet, think i missed a few meals due to being busy and as a result my body suffers some.

Meal highlight of the day - Baked chicken breast, rice, veggies.

Day 27 - Slept in nicely today, just enjoyed my time before work, felt a bit drained, but i also had insane intensity and productivity this week. I need to be sure i dont get too busy that i miss meals esp post WO meals these are crucial to my progress.

Meal highlight of the day - Burrito supreme (beans,beef,lettuce,tomato,medium salsa,sour cream.)
 
Days 28 29 and 30 unfortunetely had to be spent out of town, i got back yesterday. I am starting a new buisness with my uncle and we had to get certification and take some tests. I am going to post my fianl thoughts and pictures to finish this log and will not bother to post the reviews from the last three days as it would not provide any new or unprecedented information to any readers. In this post i would also like to thank Athletic Edge Nutrition for giving me supplements out of their pockets and paying for it to be shipped to me. I enjoyed trying something new that didnt compromise my health in IXL and a well formulated drink in SE.
AEN has proven to be a solid new company with info posted about the efficacy and scientific backing of thier products. This log has given me a chance to test AEN and their supps, and they have performed well and will be given future buisness.

I noticed during my log there came a point where i could tell IXL was working, things came easier and my performance rarely waned. It was about day 18 or so that i noticed changes and my body temperature increased, my muscles felt strong and i didnt really get tired.

Did i lose any fat on this 30 day adventure ?

I think i have lost considerable fat, i am happy, but for others i will hope the pictures do me justice.

Did i add any muscle ?

I believe along with leaning down i managed to add some muscle and get closer to my PB strength that i achieved using PH's.

How did i feel about the tingle ?

I kinda of liked the sensation IXL gave me, sometimes it was unexepected when habitually popping pills.

All in all would you use IXL again and given your experience would you recommend this to others ?

I would use IXL again and will continue to use it for another 2 months (two bottles) that i purchased from nutra planet. I would also recommend IXL to anyone looking to increase performance and moreso endurance.

On a 1 to 10 how would you rate IXL ?

Its difficult to rate physiological changes on such a simple scale but i would say 9.5/10. Any product that can burn fat, add muscle, increase endurance safely, is top notch in my books. IXL limited lactic acid problems, and now i want to see how it does with some creatine.

I stayed hydrated rather easily and rarely did not have a PWO appetite.

Would you continue using SE or recommend it to others ?

I am continuing to use SE and have recommended it to others.

On a 1 to 10 scale how would SE rate ?

SE rates 9/10, it had all the positives i needed without the negatives i didnt. It might not be possible to make these nutrients taste better but it is the only thing i could think to improve. Where theres a taste theres an opinion.

Would you continue using SE or recommend it to others ?

I am continuing to use SE and have recommended it to others.

On a 1 to 10 scale how would SE rate ?

SE rates 9/10, it had all the positives i needed without the negatives i didnt. It might not be possible to make these nutrients taste better but it is the only thing i could think to improve. Where theres a taste theres an opinion.

Days 28 29 and 30 In this post i would also like to thank Athletic Edge Nutrition for giving me supplements out of their pockets and paying for it to be shipped to me. I enjoyed trying something new that didnt compromise my health in IXL and a well formulated drink in SE.
AEN has proven to be a solid new company with info posted about the efficacy and scientific backing of thier products. This log has given me a chance to test AEN and their supps, and they have performed well and will be given future buisness.

great pics SWG!!! Thanks for the daily updates, and detailed log :D

Hopefully ive given a good representation of your products, will continue using IXL and SE and may update this log in the future. I have been focusing on rugby and cardio with a focus on hypertrophy, muscular gains would be more prominant.
