Anabolic Pump and Low Carbs

T-Bone

Banned
I have read several contradictory posts on here about this. Some say you have to have carbs while taking Anabolic Pump. Others have said recently that it really can help you reach ketosis quicker on a low carb diet. I have never had any problems taking this without food and once I even took it 2 hours before any food on an empty stomach. No problems going hypo or anything like that. The reason I ask is that I am chaning my diet a little. I plan on skiping my carb ups for the next month and staying strictly low carb. I want to an Anabolic Pump back into my routine, to get the fat off faster. I am still on NHA stack so I may wait about 2 weeks to add Anabolic Pump, or just lower my dose of RR. I really haven't decided yet. Any thoughts on this?. Thanks.

I only use the AP with carb ups and havn't tried it on low carb days but as long as you don't get any negatives sides, like hypo, I say give it a go and report back.

hypoglycemia? is that a temporary side? holy crap

I would assume. AP supposedly sensitizes your muscles to insulin, thereby dawing more nutrients into the muscle than baseline (w/out AP), which could leave you in a hypoglycemic state.

I don't know if the increased insulin sensitivity is acute or chronic.

So in theory couldnt you comsume more daily carbs and remain in ketosis? similarly to a POST workout meal etc, where the carbs use for muscle has next to no effect on ketosis, and even if it did you would return to it. is this the way AP acts? a Post workout window?

I been dosing AP with 30grams of Carbohydrates 3 times a day and the fat loss aspect is amazing(ofcourse this is personal to me).

I've tried everything to lose that last bit of fat and nothing has worked until AP.

AP cause lipolysis(fat burning) and the basic rules of thermodynamics makes perfect sense. I'm driving the carbohydrates into muscle cells but my body must meet it's energy demands by liberating fat. With Anabolic Pump forcing lipolysis, you have a prime enviroment for fat loss.

I'm going to fine tune my approach than sponsor some logs to get an overall opinion. What works for me may not work for you.

My workouts have not suffered. My strength remains constant.

are you in ketosis? do you check? or are you just low carbing

Ketosis does not work for me. I'm close 120grams of CHO a day.

In the past, 120 grams would still stall fat loss and workouts would suffer. I train jiu jitsu and weights(sport specific) so I need carbohydrates to perform.

damnit i wanted to grab a bottle but i missed the sale by a couple days...WHAT A DEAL TOO!!!! GAH:frustrate :frustrate :frustrate

I'm reading both good and bad reviews for this product, so I decided to take a fifty dollar risk and try a bottle for myself. I lift about five times a week and also do a lot of cardio, but I'm currently on a low-carb diet. Since you're not supposed to be on a low-carb diet while taking AP, I'm going to have to start reintroducing carbs into my diet, but about how many carbs should I take daily while taking AP?

Search for "Started AP with Low Carbs". You should find my log. You can have it with low carbs. I have been doing it for a while now...
