20 Manliest Movies

Just surprised that Aliens didnt make it, what is more manly than a bunch of space marines blowing up thousands of aliens, besides Sigouney Weaver?

no full metal jacket

Should have been there instead of Miami Vice fer shure!

"This is my rifle this is my gun, this one's for fighting, this one's fer fun!"

"Me love you long time!"

endless amounts of quotes that put it on this list......
....I vote for new Man Law.....no movie where the heroes wear pastel suits, no matter how manly, should EVER be ranked ahead of a movie like FMJ where you have classic lines like: "How can you kill women....children? Easy...you just don't lead 'em so much!"

No bruce lee or chuck norris???
horrid list...miami vice....surprised they didn't put colin's phone booth movie.

Manlier Movies than Miami vice:
Boondock Saints, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Kick Boxer, Youngblood, The Running Man, Full Metal Jacket, Mean Girls

excellent call with boondock saints, there are actually people out there that havent seen this yet

really??? watching total recall now is pretty cheezy but back then, it was awesome...the x-ray scene in the airport is pretty cool

There was a point where the movies they played on MST3000 weren't ridiculously corny either. I guess it's all the changes in special effects over the years. I guarantee the special effects in present day movies are going to look pathetic 10 years from now.

Running Man does have better acting, but no ones messing around with this:

That list seriously needs some Al Pacino flicks, the "manliest" of his movies in my eyes would have to be Scarface, in fact I'd place that movie near the top of that list.

"How can you kill women....children? Easy...you just don't lead 'em so much!"

One of the greatest lines ever. As far as Arnold movies go, Running Man and Total Recall are the best. I liked Rocky III a little better than IV personally. I just don't get why people love Boondock Saints so much. I really didn't like it at all.

When i first heard about it, there was nothing else like it and no one knew about it, so it was like the underdog of action movies but has since become a cult classic. now we have lock stock and snatch, and the style has become a trend, so it is not as unique as it was when it first debuted

No Braveheart? Cmon.

What about "The Punisher" with Thomas Jane..... not Dolph. That dam movie gets me pump every time I watch it.

I thought the punisher was awesome, but the critics seemed to think otherwise. Still manly as hell though, plus you cant go wrong with giant russians in striped shirts

I'd go with Magnum Force for a Clint Eastwood movie, but I haven't seen that many of his....or Bridges of Madison County....why Clint why?

Commando was pretty cheesy but in a hilarious way like when he threw a saw blade through a guy then says later "he had to split" or throws a grenade at a group of guys and the explosion forces them to do synchronized full-twisting backflips.

Cobra with Stallone is another cheesy yet manly movie. He walks around with match sticking out of his mouth. Doesn't get much tougher than that.

scarface definitely deserved a high rank, still boggles the mind how it was left off yet miami vice made it

I don't care what anyone says, the Running Man is the BEST movie Arnold Schwartzeneiger has ever attempted to act in. (with Kindergarten cop, in close second of course :)
Agreed, I've probably watched The Running Man 200 times, and if its on t.v. right now, I'll watch it again.

Yup, Boondock Saints completely blows IMO. Most people who like it are complete followers.

I've never seen a "guy movie" list without "Full Metal Jacket" or Cool Hand Luke" on it. I know it doesn't fit the theme of this list, but "Caddyshack" is also one hell of a guy flick.
