Powerfull - the stuff inside seems incredibly hard?

Can anyone with powerfull on hand comment on how hard the contents are...mine are like rocks inside...I opened one and took the 'rock' out and put it in a water / vinegar combo for 20 minutes and it was 50% softened...Im just wondering if mine has perhaps passed its prime, or if this is normal / OK.

Probably a slightly older version, orange caps.

I dont think there is anything 'wrong' with it, but If its become hard due to time, and might not breakdown, I might just discard it.

I just wanna know if its hard cause its pressed in there so much, or if it just got old (I store it in a cool / dark / dry place.)
 
The contents are fine. THis happens at cold temperatures be it at our factory or your storage...no problems.
 
Nothing is wrong with the cap. They harden over time or in varying temperatures. As I don't know the lot number or expiry date I can not tell you whether or not they are past prime, but I can tell you that the hardening of the herb does not dictate its efficacy.

As to the Toad's slightly cynical comment as to the three different versions, there was an original containing Muira Puama, this was reformulated and 1-C was included in order to give the customer an efficacous product without jacking the price. This exact same formula was simply increased in dosage to cut down on the amount of pills the consumer needs to take. So, really, there are two versions, which were created in a pretty linear fashion.
