Interesting. I'd like to see how it would effect the onset of Type II diabetes as it seems to modulate the inflammatory systems that are upregulated during mitochondrial invasions into adipocytes. If it blocks those pathways like the article said then it should have a use for NIDDM as well, seeing as how that's how insulin resistance is formed.

I hadn't thought about that. I've read reports that tri-ahtletes use it for endurance, also that it comabtrs macular degeneration.

Defenitly sounds like it has potential in many areas of not only sports performance but also overall health.
