How many days prior to blood draw do you not lift weights?

Intent is to have an accurate baseline.
Weight lifting will create an increase in T so does it not make sense to not lift the day of a blood draw? How about how many days prior in terms of abstaining from lifting weights?

2 to 3 days
It's not necessarily the T levels but strenuous workouts can cause elevated liver and kidney values. This elevation can last for up to 48 hours. If you are just getting T levels tested then you should be good with a 24 hour no workout period.

For my baseline, I just did cardio/yardwork for about a week and tested in the morning. Also, alcohol will lower levels also as well as junk/fast food. How low do you want to go lol

Weightlifting creates a increase in testosterone for like 15-30min lol. It has no effect on your blood work testosterone levels.

You could go 30 minutes after his workout and be fine. It's the health stuff you got to worry about and your spot on with that. 3 days is good 👍

Yep, last time my Dr made me do a surprise blood test I came from a heavy deadlift session (I was there for refills), it looked like I was about to have liver and kidney failure. I came back and did another bloodwork after 3 days rest the week after and all my markers was good. Test was about the same though.

I did not know the T boost was for such a short period. Thought it was for hours afterwards. LOL. I am still a novice.
