I know, and yes your probably right. I like to be very objective with myself and Im very literal, maybe wrong choice for words but when it comes to describing myself, I'm often talking about the small noticable changes. Like if I said I'm bloated or gaining fat. I'm not saying I look fat and bloated, but maybe I'm noticing less definition in the mid section and my ankle socks are leaving marks like there too tight.Yeah... I understood that. Really just having fun. I would imagine though when you feel bloated 99% of the world would look at you and say "Damn I'd like to look that good" really a compliment in a roundabout way.
About 5 years ago when I was probably only 1 to 1.5 years back in the gym training serious, I was trying to help someone here and they basically said I don't look like I know what I'm talking about. I was in decent shape at the time, but nothing special. The person basically said you look like a x football player.
Now I wasn't offended by this, I was coming of a 10 year stretch of drinking heavy and all kinds of injuries, but I'm also big on practice what you preach when it can be applied. So I used that as motivation to make myself look the role. I wanted to always be in a position that if I walk in a room filled with average build people, even very fit people that I would stand out. I found that around 12% bf I can look awesome, lean, big and vascular for my frame and I've basically tried to maintain that and still working on my legs to match. There getting better too.
So now when I see small changes, they stick out to me.
Sorry for the rambling lol
