Slicin' and Dicin'

Sounds like quite the adventure and workout 😂

Tha actually looks like a nice green house what’s the length and width?

its 10' x 12'. or more precisely like 142.9" x 120.1" . at least I hope those come out accurate cause I have the 4x6 lumber well into place counting on those measurements to be accurate lol. I plan to put down a vapor barrier between the GC lumber and the greenhouse frame, bolt the greenhouse down to the lumber, then built out shelving inside to essentially "frame" the greenhouse a second time on the interior which I think will make it pretty robust. The GC lumber has an expected life span of 20-30 years out here so by the time it gives up the ghost we'll see what life looks like.

the cool thing is by march when we have cabin fever she'll be able to be working her seeds in the greenhouse. I think a lot of our garden struggles come from getting started too early. we have longer days in March but you never know when that last freeze is going to hit. this should let her get things started nicely then do the transplanting around May.

if my motivation stays high, I still hope to drop a big fish tank in there to stock with Tilapia and then run that tilapia water through an aqua ponics system. but I have more projects than time in the day at this point.

NEVER GIVE UP THE WHEELBARROW ✊
never! 😂
its a real good one too lol. just got it last season, I can empty a yard of material in about 8 loads. its' how I stay sane, I count trips 😂

Fasted cardio
Bike - 22 min
Incline LISS - 30 min

Gonna hit the sauna and call it a day. I did up my microdose on the epiandro from two pumps of TD (150mg) to 1 cap of Stano (300mg). Which for all I know might be the same thing in the end going from TD to oral.

I missed this. Are you dosing the epiandro daily or pulsing?

I've been doing two pumps a day in the morning just to see how I take to it. It's been about a year and my sessions have been a little blah. It feels like even this little microdose is putting a little more oomph into things. I have a ton, like 6+ bottles so I'm not too worried about wasting it.

Broke my fast at about 24hrs last night at 193lbs since I was far under my goal for Jan and had chicken with my wife for dinner. woke up at 196 this morning. <does math> if goal was to start May at 185 and cut 3lbs per month thats:

End April at 185
End March at 188
End Feb at 191
End Jan at 194

That's actually more aggressive than my first goal of 188-189lbs but January is starting off strong so it seems feasible.

Still a bit of a twinge in the back of the knee when I move wrong. But honestly everything still hurts from this weekends garden work down to my ankles

Short on time today, skeleton crew at work so stayed a bit late and skipped lunch but got some decent work in.

Might still be sore from the weekend, but bro you kept the wheelbarrow!!! 💪🏻💪🏻

Xpg. I really like Robs stuff too and ultrahard is one of my favorites but I have a ton of XPG that is stocked up on and it's easier on my skin

View attachment 258057
I haven't used xpg. The icon epi TD I was trying to get up to 1500mg a day lol, but anything more then 600 a day was giving me a rash. I think I gotta stick with the oral. 12-16 pumps a day of any TD is probably going to cause skin problems 😂

yeah I think I peaked around 1250-1350 mg last run about a year ago mixing Rob's ultraepi with Steves oral epiandro. IIRC I started with ultrahard and when I ran out I upped it to the ultraepi. Thing about ultrahard is I really like the androsterone in it for overall good mood vibes, it seems to offset the short fuse I get when megadosing epiandro lol. it was hella hard on my shoulders though, I was basically adding the td then coming back and adding lotion.

Right now I have like 6+ bottles of xpg epiandro, stanoplex, and Steves other oral epiandro in stock so I'm rotating back and forth, plus when I use the oral I can save the skin real estate for the TD Carnitine and DHEA.

Is that in the fridge?

Also, that's a good reminder I was considering picking up Iconic DHEA+pregnenolone. I don't think XPG has a combo product if I recall, but could be mistaken.

Freshness garanteed! lol I have one of thes types of shelving units in the bathroom cabinet for organizing my supplements.

I don't do well on the pregn, I still have some dermacrine i'll use from time to time but the straight DHEA seems to be a bit better for me.

Damn I've never seen the gym so busy in my life. Absolute zoo and most people just walking around looking lost.

Meant to flat bench focus today but there was literally a line at the benches so I adjusted. By the time I did get to bench I was getting spent.

Fed weight 195 today. Off to pound some more rice and ground turkey then wrestling match.

This morning I woke up at 194 which is I believe a morning low and a bit of a surprise. Yesterday I moved my meals around a bit reversing breakfast and lunch because I took my son to lunch. We got teryaki (no sauce for me) and I used that as my carb loading preWO.

breakfast - veggies and meat
lunch - large teryaki, no sauce but all the food and dressing lol
dinner - more rice and meat, actually my normal breakfast
- wrestling match
second dinner - my wife's leftover lasagna and chicken breast

she made lasagna this week using zucchini strips in the middle instead of extra layers of that pasta noodle flat thing people use so it's a giant pile of meat and cheese on zuch- pretty dang good.

hoping to get a 2 a day in today cause we have a late wrestling match tonight.

I am also still using my RLT every morning. I set the timer for 5 minutes when I first wake up while brushing teeth, checking news, etc. then jump in the shower and set it for another 10 minutes while taking supplements, popping in my contacts, etc. so 15 minutes accumulative every morning. I wouldn't mind getting more in the evening and even though my knee is "feeling" much better, its still quite swollen so I'd love to get some RLT time on that as well.

Easy plate math day for pulls. Plan to get an afternoon/evening back session in before wrestling meet..

Those back extensions were good. I found something in the middle of my right hamstring 8" above where the back of the knee is swollen so maybe they are connected. Gives me something to work on.

If I remember right he was using the Van Wyck style swings. Nice looking session!!

weight 193.4 today,

New morning low. even lower than my 60+hr fast which are always super low on account of depletion and dehydration. I'm switching up my nutrition again today going with my meat and veggies for breakfast and pushing my carb+meat meal till later in the day to time it a little closer to my afternoon session. I may double up on carbs if I can find an easy option like juice in my pre-wo or something cause I can tell that while the fat burning is going great, I'm definitely quite depleted and I'd love to enjoy a good arm pump today.

Tomorrow will once again be an all day garden day. we are colder now, about 28f, but still very dry so its a good opportunity to make progress before the weather gets nasty. Then Sunday will likely be chest day but if I can really hit it all hard I'd like to get more lat work in as well because the recovery and cheat meal this week will be watching the Seahawks game.

You might be right about that, my form/rom has been similar to this video except I have not been doing bench supported. I have done either seated, or standing with a bend. bench supported looks like a good next level attempt. its hard to explain why I love these because chances are I won't be able to see what they do, but you can just feel them building chonky mass back there for everyone else to enjoy.

Little arm extra credit to wrap up the week. Was able to add coconut water to my preWO for a little experiment.

Weird observation: my left arm always appears stronger in single arm tricep work yet is clearly my weaker side on heavy bench.

Maybe it compensates for a weaker left pec and I can't tell.

I know it looks like trash righ tnow, construction zone. but making real progress. Just imagine the ground is leveled, the weed barriers are covered in dirt and woodchips, and the boxes are filled with growing crops lol.

Skipped gym unfortunately on Sunday because the greenhouse still wasn't quite done and I felt like if I didn't get every hour of daylight into it this weekend I'd really regret it in a week when the rain comes back.

I still have a dozen small things to do but the hard stuff is basically complete. every muscle in my body hurts lol. Last night I was thinking about the midwest guys having to do ANY JOB at all outdoors in the cold because these past 2 days I didn't leave the house once, spent every minute of daylight outside in 27f weather working on this garden and I can't even imagine if we were talking 0F type stuff.

those winebarrelse were a cool pick up I got a few months ago and cut in half for tomato plants. 2 weeks ago I filled the boxes with a load of composting horse manure, and the past few weeks has been hauling that gravel to the area that is now the greenhouse. its been a long winter already lol. something better germinate!

Looking great man, nice progress
thanks man, this dry but cold weather has been a blessing. I have had the mentality that chipping away every weekend throughout the winter would set us up nicely for spring season. Right now I think we're tracking!

Once I get shelving done in the greenhouse I think the rest of the work is mostly cosmetic to pull it all together. the dirts in, the compost is composting, the greenhouse is 95% complete and nearly ready for use. fingers crossed!

Dude that is going to be awesome! I wouldn’t want to leave there 😂
funny you say that, my wife was like "we need to try to get out more in 2026". but in 2025 the plan was to work on the homestead and make home feel more like a destination, which is where my time and finances have gone. so now I'm like, I don't want to leave, we did it! and she's "lets go on a vacation!" 😂 😂

I got home friday night and didn't leave until monday morning (today) for work. that didn't occur to me until Sunday night on the couch I looked at my wife and said, you know I don't think I left the plantation once since I got home friday night. I've just been out there working on your crops lol.

Looks really good….the Honey Do list never ends on a plantation. It’s always nice having your own little slice of paradise.😎👍

woke up at 193 this morning, breaking the fast with eggs, protein shake, and will soon have my pile of rice and ground turkey/ground beef.

Dang that looks good!

Oh forgot to say congratulations on the Seahawks going to the Superbowl.😎👍🏆
It was a good treat and I definitely had more than my share lol.
Its been a good year to be a Seattle sports fan! Hawks looked good on Sunday!

Yeah the Seahawks and Rams was a good game. Both teams were trading blows and were both playing at a really high level. I don’t think New England’s offense will be able to hang with them.

Its a really wild year to see our staple guys like Coach Carol, Tyler Locket, and DK Metcalf struggle in their new homes while Sam Darnold leaves MN after winning 14 last year to join the Hawks and go to the superbowl with our new coach Mike. crazy!

What protein shakes are you using? With the new labs coming out about pea proteins being so high in lead, I’m searching for something new.

I am not sure what the brand is of what I grabbed, I probably supplement with protein shakes less than once a week on avg, I'm more likely to add a little to my coffee here and there. The last one I bought that I really liked was Ghost Oreo, and for a long time I kept stock on the muscle milk single servings since I could toss those in the gym bag. I have been told that they were one of the worst for mercury content, but according to this list I found they don't even rank:

1769537230873.webp

99% of my protein comes from meat though- our chickens are already producing 3-5 eggs a day which is really unusual for winter, but I have grow lights on the coop that turn on around 4:30am and off pretty late so it simulates a lot of day time for them.

So I opted to touch heavy on flat and pickup a little more volume on incline.

2 plate incline pr 🔥!

Congrats on the incline PR….I know that felt good.😎👍
Thanks guys! I think the past while here of focusing on incline has definitely paid off, although I need to cut back and do a banded day on bench I think. none of the weights felt like they were beyond my reach by any stretch but I could not get anything to fire well and fast until I got to dips.

really wanted this session to be all chest and tricep focused but I feel like I could have done more. I'm "hoping" to get in for a little accessory shoulder work and more triceps tonight.

my 2 wheeled incline while a PR, could have been much cleaner lol. so I at least now have the confidence to work on improving that!

2-plate incline is a classic PR, nice job
thanks man, still hard to wrap my head around it when the past couple years I was hitting 300-305 on flat, 315-330 with slingshot, then I'm like WTF as I slide a 10lb plate on the outside of a 45lb plate on inclines and look around the gym hoping nobody sees 😂 😂

I'm going to keep working this. It just feels important to be able to be repping 2 wheels here otherwise a 300lb bench seems silly for some reason.

Truthfully I bet you were stronger on incline than you thought, especially knowing you have a 305 to 315 bench. It was probably more about practice and getting a feel for it, and improving your technique. I’m sure the muscles were already there and strong, but just had to specifically work that exercise. That HS Incline machine will help too, because it seems to work in a similar plane as when you do free weight inclines. And both those, the incline machine and the incline bench, will help drive your flat bench up even more. Who knows, you might be up over 325 to 330 on flat bench by the end of the year. 💪
Then your lady will be playing with your boobs….uhhhh I mean pecs.😜

Wanted to test some running on the knee. Last weekend we had a bowling date and the next two days my knee was $&@#! Which my wife pointed out is probably due to how much it twists with my amazing follow through. I gotta keep pushing the boundaries a bit and testing limits to see where it's at.

Wanted a lot more tricep work in session number one so followed up with more tonight. Elbows are very sore. Oh wow, listen to my own advice maybe? Like I've said for years... Here it is mid January, dry skin, sore hands and elbows and where's my fish oil? Oh yeah I haven't taken any in months.

My cardiovascular output seemed pretty on point despite 5 weeks of no hard conditioning.

Morning stack:
1 pump xpg dhea
Carnitine
1 300mg stanoplex

1 300mg epiandro preWO earlier put me at 600mg, no sides. At this point probably on pace for a good 8+ week run. Then maybe I'll hit a hard natty stack

There's some level of foundation and mass established but man, I'm enjoying the newbie gains even though I feel like my incline was just crazy low proportionately. I had dodged it for most of my life because it felt wrong in the shoulder, but after a year of developing the rom I have no discomfort and I definitely think that adding incline bench has contributed bigly to the upper pec hypertrophy. I'll take anything I can get!

Then your lady will be playing with your boobs….uhhhh I mean pecs.😜

yeah man I was rummaging through the fridge last night thinking I must have some leftover but none, so I'm going to have to restock. I still prefer the SFH and barlenes but I'll probably get the barlenes short term and just take double doses.

Does anyone have any novel lat builders they like? I'm hoping to have a decent back day today and I feel like lats are starting to pop as the waist works down, so I wouldn't mine accentuating that. I have my trusty normal movements but I'm up for trying some new stuff if anyone has some neat ideas.

Last night I touched on 192 when I got home (fed and hydrated well, woke up at 194). But I haven't seen 192 on the scale since Nov 4th so it's good to finally be putting a cutting log back on track.
