Supps for a bodybuilder on a 6 day backpacking trek

Hello All,

I'm doing a 6 day long hiking/backpacking trek and wanted to see if anyone had any advice on supps to mitigate catabolism and enhance endurance. So far I am thinking EAAS to prevent muscle loss and cordyceps and ephedra for endurance. I'll probably also bring gummies, protein bars and electrolytes and do Anabolic Effect and vitamin E daily. I'll also eat as much as I can at camp.
Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I hope that you have a great trip.

If you have Pepti-Plex, Pepti-Bolic, or MPC-185 then that could be beneficial.

ATP Elite is good for muscular endurance.
reV02 is good for cardiovascular endurance.

Those would be my first thoughts.

Years ago I did the aids ride with my wife. Because she has asthma, I chose to do it on a tandem bike, so if she struggled I could assist. It's sf to LA, 600 miles, so 85-110 miles a day for a week.

I was in fantastic shape, both cycling and lifting, and expected to lose weight, so I brought protein bars. I ended up gaining 3lbs or so, which is insane, an di clearly lost fat, so that's dense muscle. Sometimes using the **** out of your body hard prevents catabolism.

Jerky is a great snack when going out and packing light. Also beef sticks can be great and the added sodium can help as well.

Those jif peanut butter to go pouches as well can be great to take along.

Not really supplements but figured I’d throw in some snack ideas!

that sounds pretty fun! I've done something similar in the past and brought a bunch of bars and gels that were easy to get down as well as carb and electrolyte powder.
I have always wanted to try and train to do a multi day ultramarathon but I never committed cause I didn't want to lose muscle running and training for it. They take a toll on your body as well!

Idk about actual supplements for this, but I'd bring lots of easy to access calories and put a big focus on hydration. I'd probably avoid stimulants or save them for the back half of the trip.

More then anything, just enjoy yourself. Whatever you loose that week, you will likely gain it back the following week. It's just a week

reV02, ATP Elite and a sleep supplement is what I will bring on my next backpacking trip. Maybe a joint supplement too. Last trip I hurt my knee on second to last day and had to hike out 22 miles the next day with an injured knee.

You should be more concerned with packing a handgun than protein bars. Alot of freaks running around the trails.

Quite an impressive wall of text.
Naw dude, there real!

Everyone’s put in some good answers, only thing I can think of is maybe some cluster dextrin if you wanted. I’m a huge fan of carbs lol.

Could pre cook some food ,like chicken and vegetable Asian stir fry, soy sauce, rice, two eggs to bind everything

Protein powder

Some kind of nuts, almond s, can even be those delicious cocoa health chocolate almonds. Avacodas

Could bring a vitamin organizer along with vitamins. D, k , multi, omega 3s , magnesium citrate or glyinate

I wouldn't overdo the packing And bring extras like punch fruit fiber, bc the fiber from the nuts is enough. The fiber is nice but can be utilized another time

Senativ, more the better. 300-500mg daily split between 3 doses. Endless endurance.

I'd use ATP Elite and supplement with additional senativ. I can train 4+hrs easy in the gym, hike all day long.

Food and water are very important as well. Have fun!!!
