Winter Gym Attire- No heat

So I am currently at a warehouse gym with no heat and a few broken windows. It was in the 30's this morning inside and was wondering if anyone uses the Under Armour cold gear or anything like that. My main concern is having to grip the barbell/dumb bell when it's freezing cold due to arthritis

yes when I was competing in old school xfit, I wore the under armor leggings under shorts, and I have a shirt that I dont' wear for lifting anymore but I have put it on to golf in the winter. very mobile and I don't feel like it over heats me, gets me to where I want to be and no loss of ROM.

for the hands, I personally hate gloves in the gym but I do keep gymnastics grips in my gym bag that I will use for both pull ups, and the occasional lat downs. I did many many 30f days in the box with seven gazillion pull-ups etc and those gymnastics grips are life savers. they're about as thin as you can get so you're not grabbing a wide bar, and I jsut get the velcro ones they last forever. this guy looks pretty happy with his.

think i might give these a go. any brand to stay away from?
not that I know of, I'd probably just start with the cheapest pair I could find on amazon to give them a try since it's basically a cheap piece of leather to give that barrier but I did notice that elitefts has some and I like supporting them when possible

My go to for the cold garage is I have a cheap pair of Russel long jhons I put under a pair of sweatpants plus knee sleeves. For upper body I just do a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie. Upper body heats up quick and I’ll usually shed the hoodie and long sleeve shirt is just right.

As far as the cold bar yeah it sucks

another thing fwiw since I came from the 30f xfit box life, I could cinch down wrist wraps real tight and put gymnastics grips on over the top of them easily if I was doing something like OHP/Bench etc combined with pull-ups in a wod or something. they're a cheap essential for pull-ups and cold. I still use mine basically anytime I do pull-ups cause I'm just tired of having bloody palms.
