The RP Hypertrophy App revs

The Axe Man Cometh!!
Any body got any experience with this app? I usually build my own workouts but I'm tired of doing that and the Personal Trainer I got, although was working out great at first, seems to be leaning more toward the super fitness workouts instead of hypertrophy specific workouts. He did help me find some strength imbalances and areas I was compensating at which was incredibly helpful but I think the time to move on is soon.

Anyway, any thoughts on the RP Hypertrophy App? Or any recs on other apps similar to it?
 
I love using it, just renewed it for my second year and have done about 7 mesocycles with it. I like that it increases weight and reps for you to hit. Some templates are there for you but you can also build your own. Once you get used to how it works you can leave your feedback better to determine if the app needs to add or remove sets, reps or weight for you.
 
Do you need to have your phone in the gym or can you plug in the numbers afterwards?
Best to have your phone while your working out unless you write down the answers to the questions the app asks. Did you feel a good pump? Did you feel sore? Did you feel joint pain? A few other questions as well. It asks these as you complete exercises for each body part. It uses the answers to those questions and the number of reps done to determine if it adds sets or reps or weight the following week. If you tell it you hurt your self and did too much volume it will remove a set. You tell it you had low pump and the workload was easy, it will add a set or 2.
