Crypto currency

Anyone have any recommendations for buying XMR these days? Localmonero is gone, Haveno has few options for fiat, and afaik, Kraken takes 72 hours to clear.

Yeah, this is terrible. I still won’t put money in, since I wouldn’t be able to put enough in to make a meaningful difference.

Current holdings:
Vet, avax, magick (on avax chain), bnb, sap (on bsc chain), and a little btc.

edit: although maybe it’s time to get my magick holding up to a million…

ADA & CRO are really only ones i continue to accumulate

Algo, lrc .. down about 20-30% each
shib & doge im green .. shib i have shaved off some profits and continue to buy more just know pump will happen again ( or atleast hope it will lol )

Do you mean you’re red overall? Considering the entire amount of fiat you put in compared to what the entire portfolio is worth?

Ended up going pretty hard in Toshi on Base, which is down just a little since I did.

Otherwise, Cosmic Universe is in the way to greatness! The Dawn of Crypton 2D game will be completed soon as the funds have been raised. Loading up more Magick!

Made a 4x with $fluffy on SOL so far. Twitter spaces call later today, just listed on CMC. It’s a community take over after the main devs rugged. Hoping for even bigger things. 200k mcap now.

when u say on SOL .. which app u are buying it on ?
I assume buying SOLana first then trading it for $fluffy is how u get them ?

Yeah, I buy SOL (Solana) on binance, send to phantom wallet and then swap to fluffy or whatever garbage coin 😂
I only use phantom for SOL, and I use metamask for bsc, base, avax, eth and Harmony.

Fluffy at 300k mcap and appears to be creating a solid floor there. Coin Gecko listing on the way. This one could do something great.

about 5% on my traditional holdings, crypto is bloody. Japan down 12% yesterday. Both Japan and Taiwan hit the circuit breakers I think.

On the plus side, my weekly DCA purchase of XRP went through at a greatly discounted price lol.

So this is why I haven’t been on lately! I’ve been in full degen mode trading Solana meme coins. All spare time has been on that lol

Serious question does anybody in here have made real money with crypto or it his just yes, I made money on my screen when I look at the value, but in real life I did not buy anything with my crypto?

so all depends where u hold it .. i hold most in coinbase, robinhood ( just sold 1/5th of my posiiton in doge ) and in robinhood it just gives cash for u to spend or deposit back into your checking .. same with coinbase i believe

i believe you are talking about "wallet" if thats the case, i am unsure but i would think you would have to convert them into usd/btc and then maybe cash out

maybe @GreenMachineX & @ax1 would be better fit to answer that question

i do hold some in coinbase wallet .. but mainly i trade on robinhood and just coinbase app bc of that reason lol
 
I have a couple grand in a bitcoin wallet on a thumb drive. I wonder if Robinhood would let me upload it into my account. Where I could then easily transfer it into cash and other stock?

At some point i imagine there is a transaction charge (which can be a chunky percent fee) to make the transfer. No?

i think the problem would be .. that robinhood doesnt offer most of the crypto .. just basics like shib, doge btc eth ..so if u hold alt coins that arent there might not work

and def a transaction fee ( % of what you buy/trade )

they will rape u no matter what lol

yes, a lot. I have cashed out enough to cover everything that I currently hold in cold storage so it's house money now. at one point my wife and I started a small account with crypto profits that I used to cover the marina payment for 3 years back when I had the boat...

I have a buddy who has made so much with crypto he now has over 1 million XRP. and he's younger than 30. I don't know if he's ever cashed out to USD though.

I have always reported my cashout profits to the IRS to reflect as much historical honesty as possible because what I have left in crypto is all ride or die. it either goes to zero or takes me to retirement.
