I am seeing a lot of people promoting weight loss with this OTC supplement. Anyone know anything about this? I don't know anything about GLP-1, but I would think we have quite a few very intelligent people on this board that would know something.

No clue on the postbiotic ingredient... but the GLP-1 blend just looks like a bunch of underdosed health staple ingredients.

I agree. This is a very overpriced underdosed proprietary blend that is really taking serious liberties with their marketing and sales pitch.

The only ingredient that the dosage is specified for is the BPL1.

There is fat loss data on BPL1, but the company that makes BPL1 itself doesn't even make any GLP-1 claims.

Their studies focused on metabolic syndrome and waist circumference and showed:
  • 64% of people taking BPL-1 saw a decrease in weight circumference after 12 weeks.
  • 57% of people taking BPL-1 saw a decrease in waist circumference of 3 cm (1.18 inches) in 12 weeks.

^^^ Keeping in mind that those studies were done on normal people, so people with higher body-fat percentages to begin with, which would be very different than someone that is already in shape could expect.

I have looked into BPL1 several times for different ideas and so far haven't wound up including it in anything. The best way that I would describe it is that in my opinion is is a decent ingredient to look for in a probiotic supplement for people that are trying to lose weight, but that its not effective enough for weight loss for me to want to include in a fat loss product. I hope that makes sense.

If we ever decide to do a biotic supplement for people trying to lose weight, I would probably include it.

We have a very comprehensive GLP supplement in the works and it isn't something I included in there, and it wasn't even in the top ingredient considerations for it.

Wow, $90 a bottle??!

What a scam

Yeah, seeing the price tag made me feel a lot better about our GLP product that we have coming out.

Lean GLP will have 9 ingredients including 8 branded ingredients, many of which have real GLP1 studies backing them.

It's a very comprehensive formula and will be priced at either 69.99 or 79.99. That's a great price for what it costs to make and for what is in there, but I always worry about products in that price range. But seeing how some of these like the one this thread is about are more expensive and offer little to nothing in terms of actives makes me feel a lot better haha.

Glp-1 marketing term of the moment. It's all the rage.

Sucking in suckers who don't know any better.

Glp-1 synergize blend is 900mg. 500mg of each of those would be more in line with anything close to effective.

100. Don’t the kardashians have a new Supp marketing Glp-1 right now? I swear I saw something about that

Probably. Throw glp-1, natural semaglutide, etc and people will come. Especially when backed by those weirdos.

There are natural ways to stoke it, but 99% of those companies are bandwagon marketing and stealing dollars with under dosed crap.

That said...looking forward to seeing what @sns8778 formula is when released. At least have faith he's putting out something of actual quality and enough actives to do something.

Thank you Steve for the more in depth info. Would you think by mid next year you might have yours out?

You're very welcome.

Lean GLP is one of the priority products and will be out this year.

I had hoped to have it out by Black Friday but I don't think it will make that in time because of the time it has taken for one of the branded ingredients to be delivered.

The 900 mg. synergize blend on the product in discussion is severely underdosed.

GLP-1 is definitely a marketing term at the moment.

There are some ingredients that have great potential for this, but there's no finished product that I've seen that I'm truly impressed with.

I don't mean that disrespectfully - it's just that most of the brands doing them are marketing companies that happen to sell supplements - meaning that they make their money off their marketing, not their formulations. That leads to them needing to keep costs down on ingredients so much in order to have the money to put into the marketing side.

I'm used to seeing that happen now days, but admit I am surprised at just how little effort has been put into some of the formulas I see out there now in this category. It's like many aren't even trying, just going for the cheapest finished thing they can get and put a marketing pitch around.

They have a product line - which of course isn't ran directly by them. Love them or hate them, they are smart business people and surround themselves with some great marketing firms.

It's funny, I multi-quoted these and hadn't even read this post of yours yet, and your second sentence is along the same thoughts as I detailed above - many companies just throwing something together and trying to capitalize on the marketing rather than make even a decent product.

There are ingredients out there that do work for this category, but they are expensive and that makes most brands either not use them or pick just one of them and build their product around it.

Thank you for the kind words.

Lean GLP will be the best product in this class by far - but there was no way to do it and do it right and not have it be an expensive product because the cost to make it is very high bc of the pricing of everything in it.

Even if you took away any mention of GLP-1, Lean GLP would still be one of the most advanced fat loss products available because of its stimulant free fat burning, blood sugar regulating, and appetite control properties.

Lean GLP highlights:
  • 9 ingredients all at their clinically efficacious dosages
  • 8 branded ingredients
  • 6 ingredients that have real studies that show direct or potential GLP-1 benefits
  • Goes way beyond just GLP-1 benefits and has actual fat burning ingredients and ingredients that have been shown to help big time with appetite control.

Sounds really good. Ive personally yet to try a supplement that can successfully reduce my appetite for the duration of the day. If Lean GLP can do that then damn Id be happy.

Honest to God only thing that ever touched my appetite was Sibutramine. Ozempic just made me feel sick while I ate but was still hungry. Yohimbe makes me feel like absolute death so in that way it makes me less hungry but not worth it lol

Yohimbine makes me feel bad, but I love Alpha Yohimbine.

Have you tried the new Thermagize XT? Great feedback on appetite control and one thing I did was send samples of it to people that had posted that they didn't respond well to any Yohimbine, even to Alpha Yohimbine, and you can see their feedback in the thread where they liked or loved it.

I’ll take a look into it. Would love to try a yohimbine I can stomach!

We offer a regular Yohimbine supplement, Yohimbine 2.5 for people that can take it, but I can't myself.

We offer a stand alone Alpha Yohimbine supplement, which I love. Most people that can't take regular Yohimbine can take real alpha yohimbine, but occasionally there may be someone that cannot.

With Thermagize XT, we used an ingredient combination that allows people to get the benefits of Alpha Yohimbine but in a very smooth clean energy feel that delivers awesome appetite control.

Im the same, semag is very potent for me, dont need much at all. I ended up settling on a sweet-spot dose where I stack it with reta. Get all the appetite suopression I need and it kills my binge eating tendencies at very low combined doses.

Id love to have a non-drug option though.
