The other day, I read a study that challenged the notion that taking daily multivitamins for longevity did nothing. Surely, this was a hit piece for targeting the supplement industry, right?
Or is it true that daily multivitamins don’t do anything to improve health and extend someone’s life?
In this article, we are going to dive deeper into the https://www.ironmaglabs.com/2024/study-challenges-effectiveness-of-multivitamins-for-longevity/ I found and explain what it showed so that you can make up your mind on whether or not you want to take daily multivitamins.

I use to always tak multis daily for years and years I realized they just weren’t effective. I also realized most all are under dosed so it’s not worth it. I’d think once if get in your stomach and passed thru intestinal track and your organs how much has gone to waste? I just take a select few that u feel are most important and that’s that. Im Of saying g for a fact all are under dosed or they are useless but form my view is rather take things individually

I still think a basic multi is important for the average person. I think if your into the fitness you can add the important stuff on top like extra b vitamins, d3, magnesium and omega's. It's too many pills and $$ to address every nutritional need individually so that base multi is there to give you some basics and you fill in the gap. I like to see what vitamins mess with the absorption of other vitamins so I can add those later in the day away from the multi and any conflicting vitamins and minerals

And to be fair, I haven't taken a single vitamin in 2-3 weeks. I need to get back on the ball lol, I rarely forget but I been balls deep in my end of summer jobs and responsibilities.

Bad excuses non the less

I like Controlled Labs Orange Triad + Greens. My diet is nowhere near balanced enough to cover everything, and i definitely don’t get enough sunlight, so I’ll gladly spend less than $1 a day to address any vitamin deficiency even if 50% is wasted before absorption

I wonder if it is better to get vitamins and minerals from natural sources rather than solitary vitamins/minerals. Would the body better absorb them?
For example, whole food vitamins and minerals could be better for the body vs. single ingredient vitamins?
