Minor oral bleeding.

Experienced it after dinner last night, which consisted of soft food. I take very good care of my teeth. Any ideas?
 
I'm gonna try salt water rinsing for a week or two at the suggestion of a coworker, and if that doesn't help, then yeah.
 
I know this thread is a bit old, but minor bleeding like that can sometimes come from a small cut on the gum or even brushing a bit too hard earlier without noticing. Did you ever spot any soreness afterward or see a spot that looked irritated? If anyone else has had this happen from soft food, I’m curious what caused it for you.
 
Bleeding like that can come from a tiny irritated spot on the gum, especially if you’ve been brushing a bit harder without noticing. I once had something similar and my dentist at Colina Dental Costa Rica found it was just mild inflammation that healed fast with gentler brushing and a saltwater rinse. If it keeps happening, a quick check by a pro can rule out anything more serious.
