Yes, it should bypass the TMAO issues for people concerned about that.
However, I think the TMAO issues with oral carnitine are blown dramatically out of proportion to begin with. Simply put, its one of the most commonly used dietary supplements on the market and has been for 30 years and is taken by many people at extremely high dosages for long periods of time and I don't think I've ever actually heard of anyone having an issue with it. If it were that big of an issue, one has to ask why is it used at 3grams per day by so many people for years and years without real world issues. I hope that makes sense.
I will personally definitely be trying the XPG L-Carnitine Gel, but not because I have any TMAO worries. I want to see how closely it comes to the results people see from injectable Carnitine and I hate needles and there is zero chance of me injecting carnitine.
