Sleep issues on test

Since I started test a little over 2 weeks ago I've been having trouble sleeping. Is that somewhat normal during a hormonal change? Anyone else experience this sort of thing? I'm pinning 100mg test-e eod. My resting heart rate seems to be slightly elevated as well, maybe another 10bpm, which is probably normal during a hormonal change but wanted to check with other board members

You shouldn’t really have any sides after only 2 weeks from Test E, you sure it’s the Test?

Without bloods it’s just a guessing game but if E is out of range, up or down, it can give sleep issues, I can’t sleep with low E for an example.

In my experience- yes, it affects sleep and based on discussions I've had with my specialists and docs over the years they all attribute it to the increase in dopamine that exogenous test causes. I have found lately now that I have moved to daily injections, my energy is through the roof (and I've been on for 13 years), I'm in a "lets go, lets go, lets go.." slight agitation, and I wake up really early like my cortisol is spiking.

I have not yet had blood work since moving to every day micro injections, but in general the feeling is great, though being very familiar with dopamine and norepinephrine benefits/sides, it is very much in line with that.

Vigorous Steve just made a video in this a couple weeks ago if yiu wann check it out. I think it's called insomnia on trt or something similar

Some people will have there sleep effected with hormonal changes. It should level out once you hit steady peak blood levels for a while

I didn't realize exogenous test can cause higher sensitivity to caffeine. Looks like I'll let that evening cup of coffee go.

How much are you using daily?

Answering last 3 questions:
7ml daily= 17.5 mg (250 cyp)
10mg Pregnenolone daily first thing in the morning, sublingual.
No downsides if dose is kept low, moving up brings oily skin, acne, and some agitation.

Question, are you still pinning 100 mgs a week? I think a few years ago you and I discussed that when you and to back to weekly injections vs 2 injections per week. Also are you doing daily injections subq?

I just saw you post about your daily amount. BTW welcome back. You’ve been gone for a minute.

Im just causing trouble in the other subs here a little more. Lol. But thanks!

Regarding daily pinning, I’m not yet ready to say if this is what I’ll continue to do, but it’s so damn easy it’s hard to deny. Labs will be soon.

Keep us posted on the labs. I’m really interested in what they reveal.

What brand preg have you had good results with?

Honestly, I’ve used about everything out there and there isn’t much difference. It’s so cheap to make that there is t a reason to skimp or make inferior products. But, I personally like Source Naturals cherry flavored sublingual tabs.

Roger that, thank you sir

I didn’t know that hormonal changes affect sleep. And also that exogenous test can cause higher sensitivity to caffeine. This thread is filled with shocking revelations for me lol.

10mg sublingual every other day.
Did you do any “loading” phase on preg? I’ve been having very bad anxiety/panic on TRT and started 10mg every morning a couple weeks ago.

I was weary because you see both ends of the spectrum, it helps anxiety incredibly, or induced it. Not ready to make a definitive statement about it since it’s only been a couple weeks.
