Training log revamp ROUND 3 lol

Like, when your at level zero, there's nothing you need to do outside of pick up something challenging for 4-5 different muscle groups, go eat until your full and go to bed. Take a day off and repeat.

I'm literally picking random ****, but go do that and eat more food and add 5 lbs to the bar, that's the only thing you need to know for like the first 6 months

That’s literally the truth. That’s how I built my base. 6 months of that transformed me. It took me from the same 160-165 I’d been for 2 years straight doing some benchpress and machines to 190 naturally in half a year. I could squat 315x5 to depth and max over 225 on bench & 405 on deadlift. I wasn’t special, average height & skinny fat at 160 in high school after being truly fat as a kid.

Just show up and work hard at progressive barbell overload for a period.

I'm surfing the forum and there's sooooo many stupid post I want to respond to that I can't because the person has like 10post or less and I'm not opening that can of worms. There all **** shows in the making.

Natural supplements to gain 42lbs in 6 weeks.

Oral primobolan+serm cycle

Somebody shoot me in the fukin head
You saw that one huh? The oral primo with hcg and enclo so I don't get suppressed bwahaha

Yeah I developed a rule of not clicking on anything that didn’t interest me a long time ago. I either need to believe I’ll be entertained, or that there’s a good chance I could somehow make a positive difference in someone’s day.

All the threads of people wanting to run 10mg LGD solo thinking they’re special and this is all they’ll ever need etc. Or people just asking about things that won’t matter in the slightest in the scheme of things.

A lot of the training & supplement questions are as bad or worse than the PED ones. People asking foundational questions looking for unique overly-complicated answers. People worried about what tricep extension is best or how many to do weekly that have 14” arms & refuse to get under a barbell and build a base. Or what preWO powder to buy, but they haven’t strung together 8 training sessions in the last month.
Bro you know how many "kids" at the gym ask me what protein powder I drink and when I tell them I don't I eat real food ( yes I'm still a piana fanboy) and then they ask about what pre-workout I drink like it's do damn important and I tell them whatever is on sale, that is the absolute last supplement that anyone should be concerned about. When I first started training we either drank coffee or took ripped fuel by twinlab. Damn they were such a good company stupid fda

Go to the pharmacy and get a box of exphedrine and a $5 bottle of caffeine pills. That’s money right there.

Didn't think about that...broncaid right?

Yeah or Primatene. Bronkaid Max they ditched the guaifenesin, and the newer Primatene I got also no longer has it - both are just straight ephedrine. Sulfate for Bronkaid and HCL for Primatene.

Add some choline and you have a great strength, energy, & appetite suppression stack. So cutting, strength training, just tired or congested - you are going to kick ass. I very sparingly use ephedrine & only need half a tab (12.5mg), so one box lasts me like a year.

Do you know if pseudoephedrine does anything or how does it compare?

Yep, Bronkaid is my go to…..throw in a little caffeine instant clean energy. And I still like the ECA stack better than Clen on a cut. Clen makes me way too jittery, and ECA still works really well for me.

On a side note, does anyone have the Olympia listings for each division? I can't find the official ones

Yea I'm finishing up my cut now so I won't need any till next year. The clen from MA research worked fantastic. I could use some before work every once in a while ( I start at 4am)

I'd like to see a jumble of walker, Andrew Jacked, Curry, hadi and krizzo battling it out for 2-6 but honestly, there's probably 10 people in that lineup who if they come in perfect will bust into the top three. It's probably going to be the hardest year to predict and I don't know how long.

I got Bumstead and Ramon Dino battling for classic with Bumstead winning and urs and a few others battling for 3rd.

And no clue on 212

Did you see David Henry on the 212 list, is that the same David Henry that was battling for the 202 title in the early 2000's ???

Do you know if pseudoephedrine does anything or how does it compare?

It’s only useful if you want to relieve a stuffy nose without noticeable stimulation, or as a mild appetite suppressant (40mg helps me out sometimes if I am getting too hungry).

That dude Krizo is insane looking he just needs to learn how to pose. It's the one thing that still makes me open to the argument if bodybuilding us an actual sport, posing is hard like real hard and it drains you just like playing basketball or whatever

Nobody educated in the matter thinks it’s not hard - it can’t be a sport simply because the scoring is subjective, not objective.

If the ball crosses a line in soccer, it’s a goal. If a squat goes past a certain imaginary line biomechanically, it’s acceptable & the pounds lifted are then counted towards the points total in powerlifting. If this guy shits all over everyone in all his front poses, that’s ultimately just an opinion (even if everyone agrees unanimously).

It’s just wording definitions. It doesn’t devalue the process.

Good explanation.

I don't see bodybuilding as a sport, not in the slightest. I see it as a male muscle beauty pageant. That's all irrelevant tho, weather or not you see it as a sport dosent change the amount of work necessary to be a successful pro in the "sport"

Everything about bodybuilding is simple as **** on paper, you eat, lift, sleep repeat, take drugs and eventually lower the calories and pose.

But all of those things are like 100x harder then the average person is capable of doing 24/7. It's not a sport, it's a job and a lifestyle

Yeah, the every day Joe in the gym has no clue the dedication and amount of work it takes to reach pro level bodybuilding. There obviously is the AAS use, but beyond that the diets and training it takes to even compete would blow most people away, not to mention learning how to pose properly.

Totally agree with you bodybuilding is not a sport but I'd be open to saying it's an athletic competition but not a sport. Anything that has to be judged is not a sport figure skating diving all of them not sports because results can differ on different days and with different people. In football it doesn't matter what day what time what the weather is at the end of 60 minutes whomever has more points wins

Hahaha the classic debate over what is and isn't a sport!

Refs still effect football games, sometimes subjectively.

And yes, I don't say any of this to try to settle the debate, this is just a pot I really enjoy stirring! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That's a good point the subjective vs objective. Never thought of that. I would've just considered it as a sport, because if shooting, snooker and the likes are a sport, then sure as hell bodybuilding is. But your point still applies and makes the difference in definition.

Keon Pearson appears to be getting completely overlooked in 212, but Kamal is in the top 3 so far, his waist is big, his legs are either small or flat, his back looks off. Wtf?

Where are you watching the show? Or are you just seeing pictures posted?

Dude I looked at prices for the Olympia scince my mom lives in Vegas and I can drive there in less than 8 hours abs they're like 1000$ I think next year I'm gonna go to the expo tickets for that are only 40$ and that's where I'd get to meet the people I actually want to see and get free supps too! Lol

Diet and training and everything has been sent to me, diet is pretty much what I said before.

Shake, meal, meal, shake, meal, meal.

Order will change depending on the workout and time of day. Also now that I'm traveling less either one of those shakes may become a meal with similar macros.

We're weight training first thing in the morning so il probably mix up that shake and drink half of it with a coffee hit the gym and then drink the other half and have my first meal. That or I got to wake up an hour beforehand to drink the whole shake so I don't puke it up. But regardless. Pretty simple stuff.

Most meals are either chicken and rice, chicken and vegetables with a fat source like avocado or olive oil or a grilled chicken wrap with vegetables.

Shakes are 360-460 calories depending on added carbs, solid meals are about 500 calories each. Meal 5 and 6 will have to get combined sometimes. All stuff me and him already talked about and he's been texting or emailing me pretty much daily the past few days. We're gonna workout together at least 1-2x week for both of our convince on the lifting end and it's up to me to get 4-5 hours of cardio which I will do with my boxing and wrestling.

Gonna work up to 10hrs a week so we don't have to get crazy low on the food. Hopefully we can keep calories over 2000 the whole time.

Workouts are basically a push day with squats and a pull day with deadlift or cleans. There's gonna be high rep leg work during boxing training

He’s one thick little dude…..he definitely put it on his competition, even though he was over 30lbs lighter than everyone else.

He doesn't have much room to grow either. Like, I know technically he has 30lbs to grow, but I don't think it's possible to add much more muscle to that frame. When he stands next to guys who actually weigh 212, he doesn't look much smaller then then. Maybe 5lbs or something but not 30+

Ok, back to business. Il probably start a new log next week. I'm gonna basically trial run everything this week and get going. Meeting at the regular gym in 30 for a push workout with some heavy squats thrown in the middle.

Pre workout were taking 1 scoop of collision course, 10gm eaa's and 30gm carbs from dextrose.

Post workout "meal" is whey protein and water

Next meal is shortly after, chicken and rice.

Yeah he would just blow out his waistline radically to do that.

Damn whey protein and water sucks so bad I don't care how good tasting the protein is, but it gets the job done and we're not here for taste we're here for purpose

Ya it's gross, it was just something to slam till I got home to eat, I knew there was gonna be a hour or more between the gym and my meal so I brought it along for the ride. I picked out a little bit last night so just lowered the calories a little bit today and that was an easy way to remove 120 calories and some carbs.

So the workout was short and intense, we skipped squats because there's something weird going on with my right leg from my quad teardrop down to my ankle and everything in between. Just kind of sore and beat up feeling like I got into an accident or something. Like definitely not the end of the world but I don't know just kind of threw me off. I told him if we were going to squat I wanted to grab my knee wraps, wrap up my ankle and grab a belt too and he was like just let's skip it today.

Bench 135x10, 185x10, 225x8, 275x5, 315x3, 335x3
Incline 3 db fly 35x12 45x12, 55x12x3
Incline 4 db press 55x20, 75x15x3
Cable pressdown 65x20, 80x12x3
DB krushers 25x15x3

Very fast pase workout, on bench we rested about 2min between sets but everything else was 30-45sec between sets and some stretches between exercises.

Pre workout and eaa's

***Push workout***

Whey and water

Grilled chicken sandwich on a everything bagel with Greek yogurt made into ranch in place of mayo

Whey and fairlife milk

***Cardio***

Grilled chicken and vegetables

And we're combining meal 5-6 tonight. I'm making sausage and pepper, shake and bake pork chops, some chicken breasts and some pasta. I've got 1580 calories left so il make a massive plate or maybe be reasonable, keep it protein heavy and have a dessert.

The meal plan is gonna be pretty strict most days but Saturday is my double day so I get to eat extra. Preferably through extra carbs but I got a ton of sausage that needs to be cooked.

He lowered my volume across the board. In that workout I would say that the last 2 sets of bench, last 2 fly and last 1 on db bench we're working sets. So about 5 working sets for chest, and we're going to be hitting it twice a week so that's about 10 working sets.

Nice benching, and smart move skipping squats. Live to fight another day; squats are just a means to the end for you.

Dinner tonight sounds top notch - enjoy it!

Trial run day 2

Gym at 8 am. Just woke up and no appetite for some reason. (Lately I'm starving at night but not hungry early in the day)

Collision course at 30-45min pre workout

Intra will have eaa and carbs (I wanted to note I'm against training fasted usually) but muscle growth is not a priority here, I actually need to loose muscle at some point or I can't get to the goal weight.

We're gonna do some deadlift variation If my leg feels up to it and then pull. We're working out together again so idk what exactly we're doing

I'm so use to benching solo that I feel like I get a big strength boost when I have a spot. It almost never fails.

We were supposed to do 315x3,3 but the first 3 went up too easy, 325 was a struggle tho. I barely got that 3rd rep and I probably wouldn't have even tried for a third if I didn't have a spot

Right when I wake up there's no appetite fir me but after an hour I feel ravenous. The worst part is I want to keep eating but I know I don't need to. My macros and cals are exactly where they need to be. I think it'd my mind telling me I'm still hungry but I know I don't need the food. I ate what I was supposed to. It's like that classic conundrum the only reason I want to keep eating is only because I know I can't lol

Thats how I am at night, no matter how big my dinner is I'm starving within the hour, if I eat again I'm starving a hour later. It's weird.
