So I injected .6ml test into my right delt with a 28 gauge half inch skin pin. It hurt immediately and was sore that day. The next day I had a lump and pain there and in wondering if maybe it didn't all get in the muscle. Today is now the 3rd day and my shoulder area is swollen. Losing definition in the upper arm. I have had pip before in the glute and my butt cheek got all swollen too. Also last time I had an infection from a shot, it felt fine and didn't hurt immediately and then like 3-4 days later it started hurting. What do you think guys? Ibuprofen and hot showers? Sound like bad pip? The skin isint red. There's just a lump and now swelling

What ester and mgs did you inject?

I get this from time to time. Sometimes it just happens. I have found taking a super hot shower BEFORE injection seems to prevent it a good amount and also massaging the muscle after injection. I now usually just pin my delts exclusively when cruising
 
Yeah also I swab the area with alcohol like obsessively. Forget those little alcohol pads, I soak paper towels in alcohol and wash my whole damn arm lol
 
I had the same thing happen to me last week. Delt injection, slin pin, .55ml. Lateral head was swollen for 3-4 days and sore. No redness or heat. subsided by the 4th or 5th day. That was pharma trt, also. Must've been a bit of bacteria somehow. Anyway, just let it do its thing, but made sure it didn't get hot, red, or develop a fever. Hot showers helped. Could probably throw some ice on it if it's bothering you. I had full range of motion with no pain.

The only thing I did which could be considered bad is that shortly after the shot I got in bed and watched TV. But I remember asking my mom (who worked as a nurse) if I can get an infection after I do a shot if like the outside skin touches clothes or something because when I would do my glute shots I would wipe the area when I was finished and then just pull my pants back up and my mom was like "nah it's fine that won't happen". So other than that I can't see why it would get infected

Yeah I do the same thing, but I usually massage the area a bit after injecting with an alcohol swab. I had a similar reaction one time with a quad injection. I think it’s just something that can happen from time to time. Maybe scar tissue has something to do with it, idk lol

Your mom knows you run gear?
 
I personally feel that this is a matter of not going deep enough. Skip that site in your rotation for a few weeks, then re add the site. I bet no problem next time.

Well unfortunately my mom passed away this past summer but yeah my mom knew I used gear. She was a nurse and I trusted her and told her everything I did. She'd check my blood pressure and taught me how to read bloodwork and stuff lol

Did the injection hurt when you stuck yourself? Sometimes I nick a nerve or a vein and it'll hurt nearly immediately and I'll get mild swelling... But so long as you don't develop a fever you should be fine.

Could be, I got spicy a few times and experimental with injection sites. Did a bicep and ended up with a bingo wing for a week or so from the oil seeping out and fluid build up from the irritation.

Funny thing is that the day I did this delt shot I also did my other delt. Both of them hurt immediately but the left delt got better where as the right one is all swollen and messed up now. It's now Tuesday morning and I did this **** Saturday night. My right shoulder is sore, had a lump and there's redness around the area. I watched a YouTube video from the TRT optimization channel where they explain the difference between bad pip and an infection. You can definitely get redness and swelling from pip and doesn't mean you have an infection. As of now I have no fever to report. Just a sore lumpy red swollen shoulder. According to the channel I'm in the peak of it now so it should start getting better. They were saying I can use ice packs ibuprofen and whatever but I'll just let it naturally come down. So, I think I'm ok. We shall see soon enough
 
It is now Tuesday. Arm is sore and redness is starting to come down my arm alittle but it's very slight. I know that swelling/water retention can make the skin slightly red. My delt area is swollen but no crazy bad in comparison to my other arm and still no fever so I'm still gonna assume I'm dealing with irritation/swelling. Will report back soon lol

Yeah you'll be fine, I've had loads of injections go wonky. Got a bingo wing for over a week from a bad bicep shot... Worst was injecting my glute before work as a drywall hanger, got infected for like 2 weeks and no abscess lol just a softball sized lump. The first time is always scary
