Is 1,9 grams of protein per kg enough when cutting?

I am a 17-year-old male, 175cm tall, 80kg bodyweight and I am going on my first cut. After setting up a food budget and calculating calories and macros I ended up with a diet that has me in 500 calories deficit, from 2800(maintanance) to 2300(cut) with a total of 151g of protein. I was wondering if it is enough.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for bad english!

Yes it's enough, a little more would be better but it's not a huge deal

Your English seems fine, no need to apologize.

I think I’d say 1.5g/kg would be kind of a minimum. 2+ might be better, but you’ll be fine where you are.

A bit of advice, carbohydrates are muscle sparing. Meaning more carbs lowers your need for protein to a degree. So keep fat low and eat lots of fruit, vegetables, rice and oats along with your protein sources. Dont waste calories on high fat high calorie foods like peanut butter and oils

Peanut butter is my weakness though :) I gotta have some in my oatmeal. Tastes too good to keep it out of it

Try this, 1 cup chocolate fairlife milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 scoop collagen protein powder. Make a shake, now pour it over your oats, mix good and put it in the fridge overnight. It will turn into a chocolate pudding consistency. And it has 55 gm of protein not counting the oats.

I don't really have one. I don't protein powder often, I try to eat solid food and I mostly use protein powder to make that oat bowl or desserts so I normally just buy whatever is on sale given it's a decent brand/flavor.

My grocery store/buying in bulk store usually has the combat whey protein in a 5lb jug for 39.99 as the bargain brand. I like the chocolate milk flavor. If I want a treat I get the dymatize fruity pebbles flavor.

If you want a treat you should try the ISO[H1] cookie protein powder by hosstile. The cinnamon oatmeal cookie is pretty good!

I will take advice
They have a lot of discount codes from their sponsored athletes so I would find a discount code prior to picking up a tub as well.
