Hyde’s Strength Odyssey

Nice workout…..as impressive as the total weight volume you pulled, is finishing with the 365x15 on hypertrophy after moving all that weight. Sounds like the bicep is holding up too….that soreness is probably a little strain, but as long as it’s not a pain, you should be good.

Yeah as soon as I moved onto the next rep with straps the soreness had dissipated. But the sumo in general was not moving well; everything felt heavy, and I did not want to be risky. The outsides of my hamstrings also didn’t feel great with sumo, and I’ve torn them both a little that way before a couple times, so I just kind of eased 525 off the floor gently and called it a day.

As of this week I’m bumping my stack up by 150mg test e & 50mg mast e, and I took 4mg Boladiol preWO with my 20mg Var. I have just felt a tad dry in the joints for a while. This will bring my oil up to 1,200mg/wk. 450 test, 350 mast, 250 deca, 150 dhb.

I also started Raloxifene at 50mg a week or so after starting deca, but I miss a dose about eod so I’m probably taking closer to 30mg average. Which has been plenty to restore order so it’s perfect. Using no AI for weeks now and taking 200mg each of DIM & P5P per day.

Yesterday I believe I consumed ~4,300 calories and a good amount of salt and woke up exactly the same weight as I have the last few days. I can’t track those previous days, but it’s my best guess that I am roughly maintaining around 4k at least to hold around 258.0.

Yeah I bet your maintenance calories has shot up there, holding around 260 lbs and the intensity of your workouts. And this heat doesn’t help when your trying to hold on to calories.
You’ll probably have to hit 4600-4700 to reach your goal of 270.

Oh man that would be well over 5k daily; I wasn’t breaking past 265 doing that routinely even.

Once I hit that plateau, I gave up that push.

I am miserable at this bodyfat as is, so I’m not sure if I will make another push for any more size, beyond some last minute bloat weight.

I would like to have your Metabolism please !

You say that, but I bet you wouldn’t enjoy how much I sweat in training, or how hard it is to breath between low rep sets

Ordered some Mk677 and BPC157.

I realized I can probably hold several lbs of water from the Ibutamoren ran at a bigger dose like 20-25mg, and the BPC I will probably use preventatively. Both will obviously improve recovery.

Yeah that MK probably will help add a little more weight, and the BPC could possibly help your bicep, but should definitely be a good preventive measure.

Other than missing a day the week my son was in the hospital, when I tore whatever tissue in my arm, I haven’t taken an intentional deload in a while. Monday was overall an easier day, and I didn’t push anything, and today I took a light week with the repetition method per the Lilliebridge style instead of normal ME. 70% of contest goals for 1 AMRAP on barbell, then some dumbbell work. Kept hitting the rack on 275, so I racked it and took 10 breaths to finish the set.

Solid session. Talked with Scott Smith and he advised me to keep my weight basically where it’s at from here til comp. Any general water weight from compounds added is fine, but don’t try to add muscle/fat because at this point I really want to be training at the leverages I’ll be using day of. On that notion, I did the 5th Set 70% technique protocol tonight to get some pretty good practice volume in on my comp squat. This was sorely missed last time, and by the end of my 5 triples I felt like I know exactly where to put the bar and how to hold it again.

Impressive workout….Finishing Squats with 405 5x3, followed by a finish on BB Rows 295 3x6.
Ha, that machine is not used to a good Girl being able to squeeze that hard.😂
Makes a lot of sense what Scott said keeping your weight the same, so that your able to put your work in at the same positions and leverages. That settles you in with no sudden changes going into comp.💪

Sounds like a good plan!

Lol you broke the good girl machine!?

To be fair, it’s been broken before, and I believe the same issue: the right knee pad’s metal bracket starts bending inward instead of staying in place when you apply pressure against anything over 50kg or so.

Guessing whatever they did to fix it last time wasn’t a serious solution! This thing takes massive daily abuse; women are all over it here and the pad probably never even cools down when it’s busy lol

Lol!

that’s a tough one to unpack alright!

This was probably a year before the first time she competed with my wife, so she’s much more jacked now obviously, but truly a phenom athlete. She’s won the Arnold Pro even, as in strongest in the world at the time.

When we were in Norway, it was the hottest summer on record, and the mountain lake I swam in at the peak of the afternoon sun was so cold still it took my breath away ( I enjoy cold water). Her and her coach came back to the lodge at something like 1am after swimming in the moonlight, and reported they couldn’t believe how warm it was 🥶

Wow she does it so much easier than all the videos I’ve seen. What a squeeze she has.😁

5 weeks out today. Swapped my upper/lower days in preparation of the peaking cycle beginning next week - this is the last week of regular training before that, so I am using this week to train the comp lifts in preparation of setting a better peak by having better technique next week.

415 moved really fast, and even adding an extra 50lbs still moved well. Bicep didn’t have any issues so I’m fairly confident with it for when I max out next Sunday.

Man, my body absolutely feels like I advanced my deadlift work a day early, woof. Especially with squat training coming up Wednesday morning now instead of Thursday night, I decided to skip the bulk of work this session to forego the recovery impact it would cost. Still, I am less than 5 weeks out, so I did spend the effort to warm up and get my speed work in on lunch to preserve that quality & get some light practice in.

I came home to a fresh cut up watermelon in the fridge !! 🍉

Tested out a preWO blend of oil-based Dbol, Tren Base & Test Base. Only took 0.6ml, so 15mg of each, but it definitely improved my training mindset a little and really jacked my heart rate up/mandated long rest periods. Top set of squats felt good so I did an extra couple reps for fun. This session was about 5% heavier average workload than last Thursday, but let me touch 10% heavier weights to practice, and it went well.

How long you planning to run this PreWo blend for?

I’m a month out from comp tomorrow, and begin my peaking cycle Sunday. I am planning to inject this before max effort deadlift, squat, and the bench session next week, as well as the corresponding 90% sessions the following week. Then possibly at the competition. Probably a cc each time (25 mg each Dbol, TNE, Tren NE).

It is amazing how dialed in they are making these compound oils.

What is the oldest oil you would still use?

I’ve read people say UGL stuff should probably be used within about 4 years or so. I’m pretty sure this is at least that old, but zero issues. Same for the DHB I’m using.

If it’s actually pharma and been equally well kept, probably 10 years honestly.

Good deal, the stuff I have on hand already for post surgery is all well within those specs. Was just curious as that is what I was planning on using.

Looks like training id going well, So big Squat numbers!

Based mainly on how much DHB I have left and finishing off a vial of Masteron, I am replacing all the Mast with Test these last 3 weeks of injections. DHB is dropping to 100mg per week & testosterone raising from 450 to 750. Var was bumped to 40mg about 10 days ago, and will be going to 50mg in a few days when I complete this old untested batch. Added 15mg Mk677 nightly 2 days ago.

Before: (1,200 oil, 280 oral)
250 deca
150 DHB
350 mast e
450 test e
40 Var/day

Moving to: (1,100 oil, 350 oral)
250 deca
100 DHB
750 test e
50 Var/day
15mg Mk677

I’ll also be utilizing 3 pwo shots of the Insanity blend per week for the next couple weeks likely, and then a strong oral last 10 days before comp.

I haven’t used carnitine for some time, but I have taken 200mg yesterday and today. I am going to try to get back on that.

That extra test, and MK should definitely help bring on a little more bloat. Can't wait to see how you fare going in healthy!

Sunday will be the real test of whether things are healthy with my arm. Cross your fingers for me! I was 263.0 suddenly this morning, so the MK has definitely added a couple lbs of bloat.

Just checked my blood pressure after about 200mg of caffeine at rest and it’s bad. I have been too lazy - I should have checked this sooner!

139-142/83-86 with a pulse of 77-84 over a couple readings.

So 140/low 80s with a pulse of 80 at rest, and the caffeine I’m always consuming. I haven’t even taken my Anavar yet today Tonight I will double my Telmisartan from 40 to 80mg going forward.

At least the bottom number is still in the low 80's, but yeah that is high for you for sure. Your pulse is definitely up there for you too but an extra 20lbs will do that to ya.

I think that’s basically the crux of it: too much total bodyweight & gear. If I was leaner at this bodyweight it would probably be even worse. Only thing to do would be to have better cardiovascular conditioning, but there’s not much for that now a month out from the meet.

It is very interesting watch you dial this in.

Bodyweight still creeping up from Mk bloat, which is great - I can still go up higher too next week to hopefully coax a bit more waterweight out of it. Between that, estrogen going up from swapping mast for test and using Boladiol preWO last week and now the injectable Dbol/Tren/TNE, joints are getting more padded.

I bumped the Insanity preWO blend from 0.6ml to 0.8ml today, so 20mg each, and that was definitely better. Additionally, lowered caffeine to just 150mg preWO (half a can of Reign), took 10mg GW, 200mg L-Carnitine (GW use depletes carnitine), 10mg Noopept and a cap each of Ubiquinol, AlphaGPC, & Huperzine A. This resulted in a much more manageable heart rate & better stamina through the session. Bumping Telmisartan to 80mg last night surely helped too.

345 is the heaviest double I’ve ever benched actually I believe, and no handout or spotter no less, so things are feeling good for testing next week! I think I could have tripled it.

Sunday begins the Realization phase with max effort deadlift - wish me luck, because it’s about to get heavy.

Good call on upping your Telmisartan. That MK, as much as I like it, usually raises my blood pressure the first couple of weeks when I start it, and settles back down after those first couple of weeks. Of course raising the Test too, but that Telmisartan should cover you.
On a good note looks like you’re getting everything dialed in with your cycle and workout. Your looking stronger and stronger at just the right time to bring it home these next few weeks.

Edit: Ha I had wrote this Thursday night, but hadn’t posted….it was still in box. lol
Glad the heart rate and everything seemed to improve. Adding the health supplements and increasing Telmisartan was a good move.👍
