Accutane is not sooyiu take as a preventative measure, it's a last resort. It's absolutely terrible for you. It can also cause a lot of serious side effects. Ru58841 is a topical anti androgen it can "help" with hair loss and acne. Nothing is a gurentee.Currently looking into RU58841, are those effective at preventing hair loss on cycle? And what’s the protocol, dosage and timing etc?
Also is accutane needed for acne prevention? Do I take them after acne show up? Are there any alternatives for steroid acne?
Thanks
I had terrible acne during puberty, if not accutane what are the protocols to reduce acne?Accutane is not sooyiu take as a preventative measure, it's a last resort. It's absolutely terrible for you. Also, steroids don't just give you acne and make your hair fall out, that's genetics. If your pro e to acne then steroids will probably make it worse, if your prone to a family history of male pattern baldness then steroids will speed up that process.
I get back acne from steroids regardless of what I take to stop it. I found that the best way to prevent it is keep your testosterone and other aromatizing steroid doses on the lower side. If I keep my testosterone dose @300 or less I have no issues. If I go 400-500 I need to keep a eye on estrogen or il break out. 600-750 and I'm wearing a sweater full of pimples on my upper back and shoulders.
Over time you will be able to habele higher doses so if it's your first cycle, keep the doses low and you shouldn't need to buy a bunch of extra stuff to control side effects that you can control by keeping the doses low to moderate
Frequent steroid injections, daily or EOD will keep hormone levels more stable causing less spikes in estrogen, proper estrogen management, shower often, wake up and shower and any time you do something that makes you sweat shower after. Use a salisalic acid body wash and also some ppl swear by dawn dish detergent for keeping your skin less oily. Typically the acne from steroids is going to be back and shoulders, not your face. So changing tshirts often helps.I had terrible acne during puberty, if not accutane what are the protocols to reduce acne?
I would much rather use Accutane, than Finasteride. Not saying Accutane is trouble-free, but Finasteride is one of the last things I'd ever use.Personally I would never take Accutane. I don't take anything for acne, and if I did, I wouldn't take anything other than an OTC topical for it. That's just me though.
As for hair loss there are only 2 things we know of that work for sure - minoxidil and finasteride. However, I wouldn't take either of these unless you have already experienced some hair shedding already. If you are genetically predisposed and have experienced some hair loss then I would probably start them now and use them on and off cycle. I never used finasteride but I would imagine you can just get a script from your doctor? It's better than getting it from research chem places or ordering from India.

Well, the possible ED issues for one. But you're probably right in that considering the amount of use, it probably is rare. But I've seen many reports regarding that on the forums. And when/if people do get sides from Fina, they seem to stick around, even after discontinuing the product. The whole mechanism of action sounds unappealing, preventing/lowering DHT conversion. The rise in test is due to Fina preventing test to be converted to DHT, and so I think even though it can look good on paper, the net effect of slightly increasing test and considerably lowering DHT to be negative in many ways, like mood, energy, libido etc.Why is that? I've never used either but I know people who have used finasteride with success and was considering it. I've read some stories about ED but those are usually pretty rare. I have also seen quite a few people who it had raised natural test levels for, which makes sense given what it does.

But I don't really know too much about it to be honest. I've only read about it and about peoples experiences with it. It just has always struck me as something I'd want to stay clear of. I also don't suffer from hair loss, so I guess I can't fully relate to the burden of losing your hair. And I used Accutane for 6 months as a teenager with no issues, so there's that also.
