I hope Steve comes back and reads these comments once he is healed, so often we never take the time to tell someone how much they are loved, looked up to or appreciated until tragedy strikes. Keep the kind works coming folks!!

UPDATE 03/19/22

I asked Steve to text me an update for you all, which he is allowing me to share. Next post contains pics. They’re not pretty, so fair warning.

“So several not so good updates:

Ortho apt. March 17th:
I went Thursday, March 17th for my follow up. My ortho doctor is a 2 hour drive so it’s hard on me. Every bump or turn in the road is excruciating.

They took the splint cast off because they wanted to uncover the wounds to help with the healing process bc of all of the scabbing and road rash. They also removed the stitches and staples.

I asked again bc so many ppl have asked me if they knew the # of stitches and they didn’t. Their reply was they did not know but it was a lot and they’d had to use several different types of stitches.

I asked if they removed them all and they said yes. Unfortunately, today someone showed me I still have 2 staples in that I think they missed. I can’t bend my leg to see the outside of my right ankle and that’s where they are. So I’m extremely worried and it’s given me massive anxiety. To the point of where Im having to resist freaking out and having to resist taking them out.

And something else terrible from the doctors appointment is they wouldn’t refill the muscle relaxers or pain medication. The dose of pain meds they had me on was already very low. They told me that my primary care physician had to take this part over. I do understand that BUT what I don’t understand is why they waited until I ran out to tell me that and why they never communicated it to my primary care doctor.

I’m not one for pain meds, I never have been. But there’s a place for them. And if getting hit by a car and being in the condition I’m on doesn’t warrant the use of them, I don’t understood. Bc the pain is unbearable. And without the muscle relaxers, the damaged calf keeps knitting up and spasming and is opening the cuts and road rash.

But the worst part - at the appointment where they took the staples and stitches out, they wrapped me for a boot and said when I went home they said to unwrap and let air get to it. When I took the wrap off, the big incision on my leg split open. Like completely came open. Bad bleeding.

I called emergency number for ortho and no one called me back. That was the 17th. The morning of the 18th, the home healthcare pt person came said I needed to go back to doctor bc of the incision coming loose. The ortho is 2 hours away. Apt was set for 3:10. It was currently 11:45. There is a doctors office next door to our office about 300 yards away. But no one to take me by car so had to literally be wheeled down sidewalk to doctor. Once there, they agreed definitely needed go back to ortho for the incision. So that led to 4 hours in car (round trip) w no pain meds with every bump and turn being excruciating. They didn’t want to re-stitch so they put some silver dressing on and light wrapped it. As of now, scared to even unwrap the bandage bc have bled thru the silver dressing and the gauze. And terrible swelling in my foot - like balloon size.

I always try to be a strong, positive, and uplifting person and this is the part where I feel like I’m supposed to just say I’m okay; but I’m pretty much a wreck.”

It's great seeing people doing what they can $5.00 or $500.00 it all helps.

This is horrific and truly saddens me. Steve has responded to every single question, post, message I have ever had with no bias or an ulterior motive to promote his products. He’s always let his products speak for themselves. I really do trust his opinions on this board. He’s been the nicest person. This is just crazy. I really am praying he recovers quickly.

Yeah they're trying to keep you off the opiods when you're discharged and outside the hospital. You'll thank them later for that ;)
If he is in pain and needs them and isn't prone to addiction then there is nothing wrong with getting pain relief from them. Plenty of people use them without problems. Too many people abuse them and now doctors are scared to prescribe them when needed sometimes.

Such terrible news. Steve has been very responsive to any and all questions regarding vitamins and supplements, whether he produced them or not. I would say SNS products make up about 75% of what I regularly take, and for good reason. He makes a trustworthy product with efficacious doses, and seems to truly care about the consumer. Wishing Steve and his family the best.

I updated him over the phone and told him how much he is loved by AM family and how we all misses him .. he can't wait to return back here.

Just hurting right now with bills as he tied all his $ in SNS ..so im sure he really appreciates everyone coming together to help him out .. I know he's an extremely hard worker and tough guy and will return back stronger with our love and support.

That was the thinking 20 years ago. We've learned so much differently since then. So many perfectly normal lives ruined. Trust me, if you'd actually seen some of these addicted patients and how they behave, what they used to be and what they are now and how the meds aren't even working for them anymore you wouldn't make assumptions about doctors who see a dozen guys like Steve every day. And ya know, once you're discharged the hospital doctors aren't really in a good position to manage your pain anymore anyway.

Please don't make this thread turn into some silly debate.

Tunaking or anyone else, don't reply to this pain killer subject anymore, it will never end. Let's just leave it at this.

Accidentally hit 50 wrong buttons, sorry about that man. But yes, if there are any folks who are interested in discussing pain management, please take it to PM or start a new thread.

I’m not doing as above and trying to derail the thread into a debate about something else but the talk of Steve (and, I’m sure millions of others) worrying about medical bills in their hour of need is a horrifying prospect and I’m always greatful it’s not something we (in the UK) (currently, at least) have to worry about.

I may be able later in the week to chip in further.

So, I saw this thread and also contacted Steve. I hadn't spoken to him since around Christmas time. @Marne40 Thanks for posting this.

Anyone who can donate will be a big help - even a small amount is helpful, as it is always just good to see that people care. $5 or $10 bucks shows that. If you can afford more, then great.

Alternatively, if you use his supplements there are some great deals on SNS right now - turning his inventory would be a huge help for those who want to help and buy his products anyway. He has a lot of $$$ tied up in inventory as Marne mentioned.

I know multiple people have said what I'm about to say but I just want to add in the support.

Steve is in my opinion, and not a jab at anyone else, the person I find most helpful on this forum. He's always helping me with details and facts about products regardless if it supports his brand or someone else. SNS products make up 75% of things I take because I believe in the brand and what he does for it. For what it's worth, me and my fiance are saying our prayers for him. We wish him a speedy recovery!

We're at $1,780 right now.

I will match the next $1k donated.

Inflation sucks; make your dollar go 2x as far.
Wow, that’s very generous of you man! It’s things like this that make me love this place. Reps from pretty much every board sponsor have either commented in this thread or donated. No matter how the fundraiser turns out in the end, I think Steve will be happy to see all this support. Now, let’s get this 1K from Nos! 😁

Proving your character time and time again. How can you NOT support companies like apex and sns? Glad to have both of you on these forums and I know many share the same sentiment

Agreed. Apex/SNS/Iconic Form are the top 3 companies that I give my money too. Top notch products, fair prices and even better people from what I see on these forums. C'mon peeps, lets get more people to donate even if it's a small amount!

Even if you, yourself are broke, a share on social media can go a long way.

Guy was helping a lost dog.

I'm sure you mommy's cousin's best friend's auntie might throw in a buck or two.

Most of my supplements are SNS. I need to start talking about them on my social media accounts. Not just the products but service. How many companies ask us what we want, create it, and offer the best stuff at the lowest prices? Amazing!

Exactly why I personally love Steve; he listens to his customers (when/where he can, of course). There are a select few company owners who do this, and it is greatly appreciated.

And on top his margin profits are so low on each product comparable to other co that charge 20-30% more with prop blends

This is such a bummer. Steve seems to really be a genuine, kind and thoughtful guy who's always willing to lend advice. Definitely the father of some great products I know help many people.

I hope his recovery is speedy and he gets treated the way he treats people who come to him for help!

Damn I just saw this. Hope he recovers fast and every skips buying one supplement this month and donates.
Definitely. Most of us on here have a bit of a supplement spending habit. If we all kicked some of that budget Steve's way, it would go a long way towards reaching the fundraising goals. Steve is a great guy, and SNS is the best in the business

We’re $140 away from getting a bump from @nostrum420. Let’s get it!

Also, huge thanks to everyone who’s stopped in here to wish Steve well. I think he’s going to be happy to read all the positive comments.
Hellz yeah!

I've had some pretty gnarly post surgical wounds myself and they are no joy-ride. It honestly brings a little smile to my face seeing the community come together for one of their own.

I have a bunch of small ones from scopes, but nothing like Steve is going to live with forever. Can’t imagine how annoying it will be. Me too man. There have been some great comments in here that I know will lift his spirits. And regarding the fundraiser, EVERY donation brings a smile to my face.

Next time you got a few extra buck and need some supplements, buy a few SNS or CEL products !! That helps also!

Just saw this after posting about buying a couple bottles of Glycophase. I just kicked in on the gofundme, appreciate y'all setting this up.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Steve, you'll come back from this stronger than ever overcoming something like this. Keep pushing.
