Stocks

I guess Kenny gave them a call? lol

I just wonder if it was halted because it was mooning or crashing.

*Edit - looks like crashing. Dropped $5 after hours. It was at $75 and the late announcement of a $65 stock offering must have pushed it down hard.

weed sector catching on fire

keeping an eye on BBIG .. hope it comes fill that gap around 2.75-2.80 .. think would be a great swing trade for .70-$1/gain

We hit $20 again, volume is really high at 24 million within 12 minutes. We have had entire days with that number.

They REALLY ought to leave markets open 24/7 for everyone, or simply ban off-hour trading. Makes no sense that the market can officially close at one number and open at a very different number. Should always start exactly where it left off!

All the shady sh1t seems to happen after hours with the good old boys club.

Oh.. and for anyone watching crypto, ETC had a surprisingly good week, up 80%

I've been thinking about something and unsure what I'm missing. Eventually there won't be any more stock for retail to buy, extinguishing upward price action. But "they" never run out of stock to short. Won't then it go down, and never have the ability to come back up?

The stock is already shorted some 108 million shares on a "official" level. Then we have synthetics which is going to be more difficult to prove, we can collaborate everything we have learned and guess there are from 10 million to a billion, we dont know for sure, but they all have to be covered too.

I checked stonk-o-tracker and at this very moment there are zero available shares to borrow which is needed to directly short the stock more. That can always change at a moments notice if one of the funds makes their's available.

Also, you have to account cost to borrow is slowly going up again. It costs money to short and hold a short position.

And with the new transparency rules via SEC (I believe they kicked off on Monday) its going to be much harder to get away with synthetics but we will see with time.

It took a week and a half for AMC to go from 10 to 70 dollars, and 9 months to bring it back down and that was pre-transparency.

Does any of that make sense? Im trying, dont take me as an expert here lol

I know very little about stocks but I’m still holding onto my AMC shares. I also bought into the vitamin coco water, but I don’t have high hopes for that at all. Been watching VLTA been thinking about jumping into that one.

Your in AMC for the potential short squeeze play? How long ago did you get into it?

Gotcha. Makes sense. I also didn't know there weren't any more shares to borrow. That in itself should be huge for retail to buy up now, right?

Remember to be clear, at that moment they were maxed, but they are available on and off as hedgefunds make their longs available (including ones they are holding from retail if share lending isnt turned off) and shorts are covered and returned more often than you think, since this is also being shorted on and off in the short term.

Also consider we dont know exactly whats going on in the dark pools to chop it down but things are harder as of today than in the past. So shares perhaps can be lend out to be shorted in the dark pools still.

Adam Aaron confirmed just a couple weeks ago, not including ETFs that retail owns more than 90% of the entire float.

FYI Lou's March 3rd really took in effect Monday if one of my youtube sources was correct in regards to SECs new transparency rules.

Well, I'm glad to see it above $21 now. Something is happening.

For TA Trey’s Trades confirmed we finally broke out of the 9 month long falling wedge.

Time to keep on eye on stock options they have been propped up considerably, at the moment there are over 100,000 contracts that are in the money at 20.50. 70k more are out of the money.

CENN touched 2.98 and back down to 2.68 .. hopefully holds this new support ..looks like it has bounced 4X there

What does that mean in laymen terms?

Each contract is 100 shares of AMC, so 100,000 equals 10 million.

When the strike price hits they have to be bought off the market and covered causing buying pressure, and if its enough it causes a "gamma squeeze."

Option contracts close every Friday at 4pm, so the hedgefund can either "delta hedge" prior to Friday and cover those (getting a lower price) or they are forced to cover and close those option contracts out starting on Monday.

We potentially already started getting delta hedging those 100k contracts already which helps the price go up, so dont expect all 10 million shares to be covered monday-wedsday if AMC closes at 21.51 on Friday.

What happened back in June was Gamma Squeezing. Enough pressure and short positions may be margin called starting the short squeeze. Lets just hope thats what happens.

I heard Robbinghood took away instant deposits, now it takes 4-5 days.

Nice way to reduce selling pressure during times of FOMO. Glad I left a long time ago.

jeesh .. hopefully that means something big is coming for us

Premarket looking bad for GME & AMC .. hopefully we turn that around.

I haven't watched Trey's Trades in quite a while, but has he been ill for a while, or is he ill?

i dont think so .. i think he just has that eye issue which is why he might look ill .. but atleast not to my knowledge or he has spoken off lately.

He had a heart procedure last summer, I think he had some holes in it or something cant remember. There is something wrong with him I cant remember what (some type of .......jitis?) but his primary issue is possibly losing his vision permanently. Hopefully that will be taken care of.

Picked up a couple hundred shares of MULN at $3 even for a fast swing trade.

So the bad news now this will likely dip under a buck by close.

Gotcha. I just thought he just looked a little more frail than he used to, but I could easily be wrong.

I think they are forcing him out of the military too because of his vision issues, but he will be fine and do full time social media stocks and is very well set financially with 400k subscribers. The potential of losing vision though is for sure scary.

Im trying to learn to not hodl too long with these, even though maybe MULN is different than alot of those Pharma plays that seem to die off and never come back.
