Methylstenbolone in urinalysis test?

xf900

New member
My endocrinologist did a urinalysis on me. The label said "anabolic steroids". I dont know what all is being tested but I stopped taking M-Sten about 2-3 weeks ago. Is this something that will come up? This isn't a normal panel urinalysis this is directly for AAS. He also drew blood but from what I read it stays in urine longer.

Anything oral should have cleared by now. Why in the world is your endocrinologist testing you for anabolic steroids?

I was in the ER a week ago for some issues and they pulled some blood. I guess something looked odd so he had me give him more blood. Then that looked off so now he is doing this test.

Also looking around at the "Anabolic Steroid" urine test it seems like MSTEN isn't on it. Labcorp and some other sites list out everything they test for. I guess if my T/E ratios are messed up it could indicated something.. Not sure if I could play dumb on that one. Not sure if anything else can affect it.

Are you on TRT? If not I can't see why they would want to test you specifically for AAS. You know they are going to charge you for the testing. I'd tell them to eat a dick. lol

I'm lost, if your not on trt then why are you seeing a endocrinologist. Even if it's the military doing it doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Either way, if there testing for steroids it's probably the most basic test and it's going for all the mainstream stuff.

If you were on msten and no testosterone then your testosterone levels are probably crashed and your estrogen is probably high right now while your body is struggling to bring testosterone levels back.

Are you doing a pct? Nolvadex or clomid or hcg?

Because those three things will probably show up on the test

No I am not. I was running it at 10mg/day. Then I got sick and I stopped. I had plans of uping it but didn't make it that far. From my research all day today because I am paranoid, I see that the normal test involves a list of these possibly:

  • Anabolic agents
  • Masking agents
  • Clenbuterol
  • Probenecid
  • Nandrolone metabolites
  • Boldenone metabolites
  • Methandrostenolone metabolites
  • Methenolone androgens or metabolites
  • Fluoxymesterone metabolites
  • Mesterolone androgens or metabolites
  • Methyltestosterone metabolites
  • Trenbolone metabolites
  • Mibolerone metabolites
  • Methandriol androgens or metabolites
  • Drostanolone androgens or metabolites
  • Bolasterone metabolites
  • Clostebol metabolites
  • Oxandrolone androgens or metabolites
  • Danazol androgens or metabolites
  • Norethandrolone metabolites
  • Oxymetholone metabolites
  • Oxymesterone
  • DHCMT metabolites
  • Formebolone metabolites
  • Furazabol metabolites
  • Stanozolol metabolites
  • T/E Ratio
  • Epitestosterone
  • Dihydrotestosterone
  • T/E Ratio, Quantitative
  • 1 Testosterone androgens or metabolites
  • Calusterone metabolites
  • Desoxymethyltestosterone
  • Estra 4, 9 Dien 3, 17 Dione
  • 4 Hydroxytestosterone metabolites
  • Mestanolone metabolites
  • Methasterone metabolites
  • 6A Methylandrostendione
  • Methyl 1 Testosterone metabolites
  • Oxabolone metabolites
  • Norclostebol metabolites
  • Prostanozol metabolites
  • Stenbolone metabolites
  • Testolactone metabolites

And that test was one of the largest I found. I don't believe M-Sten falls into any of those. Also, they ship the urine off to another lab to get checked so maybe it is a contract sort of thing and if so it would for sure be some cheap test. I think he just wants to check because he has asked me twice if I am taking anything and I said no but my blood work screams I am on something.

If all you were taking was msten @10mg then most likely your just showing a screwed up t/e ratio, low test High estrogen.

Don't admit to anything and I'm pretty sure they can't do anything about it other then watch you and they may even have to prescribe you testosterone and a ai lol

If that ends up being the case then tell them your having Ed and they will probably throw Cialis or Viagra at you too.

Just trying to look on the bright side here lol.

Those are possibilities assuming you have insurance and they will have to treat you for low testosterone

Yeah all of it is covered. I just don't want to get in trouble. If the results come back and it shows I have taken anything then I am not sure what would happen or if I could deny it and then they have to retest or do something else. From reading unless you take one of the chems that they are specifically testing for then you shouldn't pop positive on AAS directly. Just other messed up levels could make it look like you are on something.

IF it comes to it and they ask/demand what you've been taking just say it was some natural joint supplement "do you think it was tainted?" *surprised pikachu face*

I absolutely would not say that I was taking anything at all, that just gives them reason to believe your making excuses. If it tests negative and you deny all accusations there is zero, absolutely nothing they can to

Not sure but I’m gonna guess crashed lipids from a previous blood work panel set this off.

Not sure but I’m gonna guess crashed lipids in comparison to previous blood panels led to this. Msten would do that. Drastically low HDL with high LDL in comp

I’m not sure but I’d guess crashed lipids caused all this. Msten would do that. If he had really low LDL and raised HDL in comparison to a previous panel a Dr would take note. At least a smart one would lol

What am I looking at here?

Yeah thats the plan. If it is negative then I play like I am dumb and I don't know why/how my levels got to where they are. If it is positive I will still deny as much as I can. Maybe say I took something a few months ago for a couple weeks inconsistently but tossed it because I didn't want to take it anymore.

10mg of msten or even 30mg for a few weeks wouldn't screw up my lipids

Even if I tested positive I wouldn't blame it on something else I would just stick with the story, I hadn't taken anything.

Regardless, this conversation is irrelevant you just need to sit and wait until you get your results.

Good luck bro, I think you're going to be fine though

If anything I would act like I was concerned and wanted to know what was wrong with me, why are you guys doing all this blood work what's wrong with me!

DON'T SAY YOU TOOK ANYTHING even otc supplements. Treat the Dr like a cop and you are just a good hard working man eager to serve his country, by the way thank you for your service. Good luck🤞

1 more thing, for further notice you shouldn't be messing with these things because your not gonna be able to pct and it's a lose, lose, lose situation.

You can't stay on long enough to make real gains, it's all cosmetic. You can't pct and get your test levels back in a timely manner which is going to leave you with more muscle loss low energy and potentially low sex drive too. And you're asking getting busted. I see a whole bunch of negatives and the only positive is spending a couple of weeks stronger than normal just to lose it afterwards

That's what I was getting at, you treat it like you're talking to the cops and you deny everything

Sorry. My fault replying. I do think, however, a few weeks of msten could result in a significant change in a bloodwork panel. He is going to be fine in all likelihood though. Just thinking what could have led to his worries.

If his lipids were the only thing screwed up they wouldn't be giving him a steroid test they would be worried about other things

I just had a different experience with a doctor once. Just simple bloodwork led to me be questioned with no hormone panel. They saw my cholesterol levels and asked if I was taking “supplements”. Liver enzymes were okay and I was on a very mild cycle. Maybe my experience was not typical but both my lipids and body composition were mentioned. Just for frame of reference I’ve done 3 cycles in my like and am intermediate in appearance. Maybe I just had a bad experience

As others have said,

Play dumb, maybe say "well I have been having ED " and maybe they'll just say "oh ok that makes sense"
Your endo shouldn't be purposefully trying to screw you over and dig up dirt. He should, if anything, be trying to help you. If he's trying to expose you, I'd find a new endo...

I was in for 7 years and cycled on and off throughout that time. Never had anything pop up on a panel. Its unfortunate that you've been sent down this rabbit hole, but I'd say playing dumb is the way to go. Eventually your bloods will even out and will probably look normal. Then they'll have nothing to go off of.

I honestly didn't know the military was so strict on PED usage. Interesting.

They aren't. They don't normally test for it. Was in for 7 years and cycled the whole time. Not once did I get called out for it,
During deployments most of the guys slam a ton of gear the entire time.

I'm thinking some overachiever dropped a dime on him 🧐

After digging deeper and from what I was told by endo, I think this is what I am getting done:

Invalid Link Removed

In fact, I know 100% sure it is the "Anabolic Steroids, Screen and Confirmation Plus Validity, Urine" test based on some paperwork I seen. Whether or not it is that company I don't know. I just suspect since I was told it gets shipped to NC and that seems to be a large lab in NC. Typical contracted out stuff.

So if they are only running against
Bolasterone; boldenone; 4-chlorotestosterone; clenbuterol; creatinine; danazol; drostanolone; epitestosterone; fluoxymesterone; mesterolone; methandienone; methandriol; methenolone; methyltestosterone; nandrolone; norethandrolone; oxandrolone; oxymesterone; oxymetholone; probenecid; stanozolol; testosterone; testosterone:epitestosterone ratio; trenbolone; specific gravity; urine pH

Then I should be good?

Want to leave an update...

I investigated more into this. I contacted a lab that sends the tests to NMS (National Medical Services). This is the test that they perform (Invalid Link Removed). MSTEN is not on that list. I even asked them specifically about MSTEN and they contacted a MLS (Medical Lab Scientist) and they were not able to find this chemical in any of the previous testing. This is something that may be useful for people in the future who end up in a similar situation. Little bit of research to find out what exactly is searched for compound wise. However, T/E ratio > 4 indicates something is going on. But I would feel better off with that being high and no found steroids versus a positive hit and then that being high. At least I can continue to act dumb and say that I know nothing of what they are talking about.

Did you ever figure out what started the additional testing?

Nope. Whatever was tested in the ER sprung interest in endo and then they did some bloods and now are wanting more. In the military you can get blood taken all the time.

That’s true. Anytime they want. Sounds like everything is going to turn out okay. You already got the good advice- admit nothing. LOL
