Before I start addressing Lou's Bat-signal, lets stay calm and see how this goes it may amount to nothing.

Bat signal has to do with the Facebook crashing and firms that held both that and AMC.

Most of these firms have been holding Facebook as a standard holding and alot took a big hit.

Firm/funds re-evaluations are being done, creditors/bankers lending to them are going to want to know their new firm evaluations.

Landscape has changed in just a day being that Facebook was a huge holding with a severe drop. We will see what happens how the market is effected on Friday and if these firms/funds get any margin calls.

Full video if people want to kill some time, but I briefly summed it up above. This is a different version of Lou we dont see too often.

Off exchange short volume DOUBLED today and became the HIGHEST EVER RECORDED NUMBER IN AMC'S STOCK HISTORY.

Not sure what to make of this.... Lou is basically saying the Facebook drop liquidated overall value of market funds to the tune of the Lehman collapse. And to stay calm.

Prices dropped hard yesterday, and nasdaq futures TODAY are currently green. As if yesterday was the hit and today is not the apocalypse.

But to the point of fund margin calls.... doesn't that require selling and overall market pressure down? When AMC shory squeeze needs buying and market pressure up... ??

And how does dark pool action on AMC help anyone since dark pool activity doesn't affect lit market price that we deal in??

If your account is on margin/loans and if for any reason your overall equity drops too much you will get a margin call. So at this point you either add cash to your account or start liquidating your own positions before the brokerage does it for you and they will liquidate what they want out of your account at their discretion.

So if AMC is sitting there in a negative short position covering that position will help put that account into the proper equity balance which will give buying pressure on the market. That of course will be covered by liquidating other asserts on the account to get out of that bad short position.

Now, nobody is forced to sell their AMC short position, the goal of the margin call is to simply meet enough margin equity requirments to satisfy the margin call so simple cash or selling off any other assets will meet that requirement. Or perhaps a big fund can put other equity up for offer to the broker.

I hope that makes sense, but the point is funds being in economic trouble holding AMC shorts can turn into letting go of those short positions and adding buying pressure.

Just to be clear, when the shorts are forced to cover to meet margin requirements they become desperate buyers to meet margin requirements in reverse. The squeeze comes from a lack of sellers, or short supply. The shorts covering and needing to close out their positions is the buying pressure.

So a short squeeze doesnt require selling at all, it requires a lack of selling. You can have zero selling and the short squeeze will only pop into $$$infinity, or when they come and halt it. This is where fund can be wiped out and bankrupt off of a single play.

Of course if a fund is margin called and they have AMC in long positions to liquidate, then that wont help us.

Now, for the timing of this, DOJ has not made actual accusations, but rather 'information requests" and next thing you know that building went up in a mushroom cloud!

I still have my Lucid available to dump if this hits sub $9, thats the last of all my stocks not including Carnegie Clean Energy which Im still hostage to lol

If it hits below $13 Ill consider a little more cash, maybe 10 more but that would add 10 more years before the short squeeze starts :(

solid plan .. yeah i got around $800 set aside ..so far we looking good and seem to bounce back to around 14.85 area

green in SENS and set up a stop loss in green just in case

LKCO having a nice breakout .. still .30 away from avg but looking sweet reversal

Do know Lou did not make it to that Kansas City trip, he refused, I do remember that.

The question is, if you purchased a share past what they offered you, will you be willing to go to court to claim money on a synthetic share if they informed you of this the time of the offer? Just keep that in mind in case this crazy shyt did happen.

i wouldnt mind that take the deal .. if only i can sell 1/15th of position @ 200-300 and rest at 1007 lol

If theoretically this happened it would simply be what theoretically numbers would they be trying to shake all the paper hands off, and I think $200-$300 would be paper hand territory based on what most of social media is talking about.

Im dumping 750-1000 shares at $283, when I dumped most of my entire portfolio these past couple of months that was part of the deal I set my brackets to, so now Im rooting they halt this at $250 and offer $1007 for all of it, Ill take it and move on with my life. I have some good plays in the pipeline both stocks and crypto I need to jump on right away.

Thats good, I remember being in on SENS way back before my man Trey became a household name.

These Pharma stocks can be a real pain in the azz, Ive missed out on so much profits being inexperienced early on and holding too long. These are great buy the rumor sell the news, or should I say sell right before the news. Lots of money to be made, but lots of money to lose playing it the way I used to play them.

yeah i got into sens bc of trey and more and more research i did just felt in love with it

its in my sons account, which i told myself i will not sell anything in there for a loss ..so held it over a year to pay tax on $70 lol

I'll throw a time stamp here that no AMC share sells over $500. The powers that be have all the power, every level of government is corrupt, and "they" will never let retail win that big. Ever.

And I don't think it needs to be all that complicated. The higher the price, the more people will sell. Until they get enough shares to cover shorts and balance the dark-books.

If it's 80% retail that's 400 million shares plus another 100 million institutional (some research sites have it closer to 70/30). And the institutional shares are going to sell fast to bank solid returns for their investors... 2x-5x gains and GONE.

Only question is... how many shares to close the books on all this?? What is the official number of shorts on paper? Maybe 90 million?

And I think you are counting the synthetics wrong. Check this... if they are trading synthetics they don't hold over and over again, hi and low day trading, etc.... it's not one for one cumulative total shares! They just need to balance the books with one real share to cover the Delta for however many synthetics traded both hi and low to clear the books. Technically 1 share could cover hundreds of synthetics, and the price is only what it takes to clear the net gain/loss on all those trades.

One share at 20 clears -30+40-35+20-15
