How do I find a general practitioner?

I have no doctor or health insurance. I always just paid for minor medical costs out of pocket and came out ahead compared to paying insurance premiums. I'm getting older and would at least like to monitor bloodwork, which I can't do in NY without being under a doctors care. I can't just walk into a lab and pay. Obviously I can Google and get a list of GPs in my area, but any tips for finding one that steroid use can be openly discussed with?

Well, I am the last person to ask - because I have been with my MD for 25+ years.

My sister was a medical malpractice Atty - and that is how I selected my MD from those available. My sister did a little asking and found that she (my MD) had an excellent reputation.

She (my MD) knows I am on TRT, but I don't share PH, DS (etc) use with her.

My recommendation is to ask your friends who they go to, and pick one that someone is impressed with.

Maybe this will work

How It Works
Ordering lab tests through Life Extension is a straightforward, three‐step process. Simply place your order, and we’ll send you a requisition you can take to a nearby Labcorp.** Once your sample is collected, the lab will process it. For your convenience, results are sent directly to you.

I get my labs through a company similar to the one BrainWavez linked. They charge a fair price and then will schedule a consultation over the phone with a doctor to follow up on the results, the consultation is free. The doc I spoke to was very knowledgable about steroids and had no issues discussing things with me, answered all of my questions, and actually steered me away from TRT (because I don't need it), so I know this company is not just trying to sell TRT to everyone they possibly can.

I won't post the link or company name in this thread because I don't know the rules regarding that type of thing, but if you want to PM me I can get you the info.

I would talk to friends and ask for recommendations, if you have some buddies with like concerns that might help.
