calories from injected aminos

trying to calculate calories for injected aminos. I'm reading online that its only 4 calories per full gram of amino acids?

So this injectable has 570mg total of aminos per ml. A full ml would only be about 2 calories? doesn't seem right
 
The number sounds about right, the real question is why are you trying to calculate a extra couple calories from your injections? It's going to be miniscule

just mostly trying to figure out how the injectable dose compares to oral doses. I see one article says 1g injectable is comparable to 10g oral
 
Idk, I've always wondered why anyone would inject aminos.

If those calculations are correct, how would the cost come out? I just can't see it being worth while for myself, especially when I can drink 10gm aminos in like 10 sec

im doing only about 300mg pwo a day so far, but I think I have better recovery. i guess it probably just depends on the aminos

there's some mice studies where injected bcaas shorten the lifespan of the mice and I guess I wanted to make sure I'm not doing too many. so far they feel really good, but I'm not doing very much 2:1:1
