Donald Trump running for president

Despite the recounts he's still president. And the most voted for president ever

Ok past that rant and back to professionalism, lol

There was no recount, nobody knows what the hell they even are recounting.

The voting processes should mandate very stringent voter ID requirements, you know the same as you need to fly on a plane or ender a government building and better so, have the entire voting process on public blockchain. And ban mail in ballots, there should not be a middle man in chain of possession when it comes to voting, only perhaps on extreme circumstances and better safety measures, and the CCP virus is not one of them.

what a glorious fall day...got up and went for a 3 mile run, then put the skiff in the lake and caught 6 decent sized catfish, and then went to the legion and spent close to an hour on the range--and then spent a couple of hours hanging with my veteran buddies.

going to take the granddaughters out on the lake this weekend---life is good!!!

And doing a piss poor job
i bet there are many days he doesn't even realize he is president....not even making fun, just stating a fact!!!

speaking of mental illness-where is robert mueller these days? in june it was announced mueller would be part of a class on his trump investigation during fall classes at UVA where he got his law degree... here it is november and no mueller? UVA fall classes end at the beginning of december.

Ha…good question. Maybe Hillary sent him on a “vacation”!

i watched his testimony at hearings and it looked to me like he was in very serious mental decline-when i saw that they said he was going to participate in a class about his investigation i thought--yeah right, i will believe it when i see it...

adam schiff can't answer whether cognitive decline disqualified robert mueller from leading russia investigation

in his new book schiff says he was surprised about how shaky mueller's 2019 testimony was-but refuses to answer when asked if mueller should have been disqualified due to mental decline.

maybe one day dr jill biden will be asked this question about joe?

I thought this was an interesting article on how the 2020 election was manipulated. Among other things, it kind of explains how our own state and federal courts opened up the pathway to fraud, and subsequently why such claims never held up in the court system after the fact.

Imagine posting info from the gate stone institute and trying to pass it off as unbiased and credible.

The article may as well have been written by a giant turd.

Although in retrospect that's just offensive to giant turds.

yes, as amusing as it is arguing politics on here--[with no chance of anyone ever changing anyone's mind] sometimes it's good to just say **** the nonsense and enjoy life :)

have a great day(y)

Absolutely! The reason I stick around is because I actually enjoy this forum and just engaging with people.

We could be arguing about what condiments people prefer on a burger for all I care. It's good just being part of a community that deep down, actually does care for each other.

That’s ironic, as I see it as very fact based and unbiased. That’s why I posted it..

Oh well.. 🤷‍♂️

Depends on how you look at it..

In terms of fulfilling his role on what true Americans believe a president should represent and protect? Truly abysmal at best.

I terms of fulfilling the agendas of his handlers? He couldn’t be doing a more fantastic job and actually deserves a raise. Which of course will come from our pay checks, which I can only assume is just around the corner..

Id be shocked if there wasnt a push to hand over the Nobel-Piece-of-Crap prize to the entire group of mail in ballot handlers.

wow-what was it in 2020?

i remember gas being much more expensive in europe when i was there back in late 70s, i think it was around $2 a gal even way back then -hence the very small cars....by comparison gas in the states was .59c back in 79.

wonder why gas is more in NY than indiana

Alot of people including myself when I drove there used to get gas past over the NJ border, gas for most of my life had been about 35 cents or more cheaper there than in NY, and a couple years ago NJ raised gas tax and totally fuqqed over all the border gas stations.

I think $3.50-3.55 is more common, I did see 3.65 but thats a place off the highway that likes to screw people passing by.
we are right on the border with illinois, there it is $3.61-16 cents more than here in indiana. some friends told us that gas in chicago was $3.87 today.

Yeah, and it certainly is a fitting representation of her..

Things are getting really bad around here as well, as I am sure they are everywhere in regard to help in major stores. Checkout has resorted to 1 actual cashier at Walmart, as well as at our closest major supermarket chain. The rest is all strictly automated checkout, so the lines are quite ridiculous. Starbucks is only open a few days a week for limited hours and only offering drive-thru service during that time.

Of course these are just a few examples and I don’t see how this is going to be sustainable. What’s going to happen when people can’t get their prescriptions filled because there are no pharmacies left to fill them?

Meanwhile, people are still getting their rent and utilities paid for in my state if they claim they are unemployed due to the China virus. Then they pick up an under the table side job and they have it made. As long as the government keeps supporting people who don’t work, we will continue to have these worker shortages.

Though they are infinitely hard to come by these days, I still see people buying new midsize and larger SUVs and trucks. I don’t know how they dare to do it with the way gas prices are which will only get much worse.

I’m glad I got my sub-compact SUV a year ago for my current lease which I did for 4 years. It gets just under 30 MPG so that’s reasonable and one positive thing. I can’t imagine what the price of cars and availability will be in 3 years when my lease is up. I’ve already mentally prepared myself for buying out my lease when the time comes as being my only viable option.

No…haha! I have actually preferred automated checkouts since they first came around. It was always much quicker. The problem now is that’s very close to all they have and there aren’t nearly enough of them to support the volume of people. I think it’s more than likely stores will be forced to expand self checkouts.

I don’t know about other areas, but our supermarket delis are essentially all grab-n-go packaged meats and they close at 5PM if you are looking for something fresh or custom sliced from an actual employee. I worked in supermarket delis for many years, and we were open and slicing fresh meat/cheese until 11PM. Point being, people are definitely being phased out of the picture because they have no choice.

I am seeing a trend in availability of grab-n-go packaged meats that they put out in front of the deli, but they are still open until or 9.

Amazon is going to be beta testing their completely cashier-less checkouts at some Whole Foods markets, this is going to be the future. Just grab what you need and walk out.

All these employees refusing to go back to work because they collected tax payer stolen funded unemployment and living in conditions where its illegal to evict if you dont pay rent is going to backfire. I think now more than ever robotics and automation as a long term strategy is in the minds of all corporations and businesses.

An interesting story to follow is the worker shortages with the container/shipping facilities in Cali. If I have this info correct their contract is up in June and what a time for them to host a strike and negotiate a new contract, the timing couldnt be more perfect and the entire country could be effected. So the reason I bring this up in this post is because we are talking about automation and robotics, and I heard what the workers want in the contracts a guarantee the container companies cant go automated and robotic.

Huh…that’s interesting 🧐. The world is certainly changing before our very eyes..

Technology is growing faster than our ability to even utilize it fully. It's absolutely absurd the type of technology that exists now.

One of the biggest hurdles it faces is that people are too dumb to use it properly (flying cars etc could be a reality but people are idiots on the road as is).

AI technology is immensely more powerful now compared to even just a few short years ago.

All it takes is looking at AI's like Stockfish to see how powerful it can be. Or looking at videos of how AI self driving technology works and it would blow your mind at what people are capable of producing now.

Im thinking, maybe implementing AI self driving flying cars is easier to implement in full capacity than on the road?

At the moment, sure. But once numbers of flying cars grows then traffic and rules become a real issue. The one glaring advantage you have is that the airspace is 3 dimensional (allowing traffic to pass overhead or underneath safely) whereas roads are 2 dimensional. But understanding airflow is only one part of the critical piece of puzzle that you need to solve.

Planes at the moment have autopilot which directs them to predetermined way points, kind of like aerial highways to ensure traffic is not on a collision course at 38,000 feet. The way Air traffic currently works is VERY complex.

here is something i am curious about...why does biden threaten to fire all federal employees if not vaccinated, but yet doesn't threaten to cut off federal assistance to people not vaccinated?

last month the energy information administration [EIA] released a report warning that the cost of heating oil is expected to rise approximately 43% higher than last year.
