in 2020 over 500,000 people went missing in the US---how do they determine which one
i feel for every family of a missing person, but i would be upset if i had a missing family member and they weren't getting any attention, while a select few seem to get way more than their share????

Story keep getting crazier. The fiance dude's parents say he went to a 25,000 acre nature refuge in Florida, and after several hours later went and brought his car home. Why in hell would they leave him stranded without a car if they were not complicit in his evasion and escape???

They have to be complicit, and when they have enough evidence for a Warrant to Interview (or whatever the US equivalent is), then they could also be charged if they don't assist authorities.
I think at the moment because he's not a suspect (last I checked anyway), it's not a crime to simply go into hiding.

Daily reminder that the vaccine doesn't reduce your chance of catching a disease, it simply gives your body a blueprint to fight it more effectively.
It's the same for most vaccinations, I.e. here is the rundown on the polio vaccination:

Not that the poliovirus can still enter your body and you can still become infected.

my moms older sister, my aunt louise[RIP] had polio as a child and it left her paralysed from waist down for life, she died 15 years ago at age 81....the vaccine came out in 1955 and she was the only person in my 63 years i have ever known who had polio. i remember when she was in the hospitals i think every doctor and intern in the entire hospital came to examine her--they had never saw anyone paralysed from polio before.

My old coworker’s husband had polio, he’s only 55. His right leg is smaller than his left and he walks with a limp. I don’t know if growing up in the Philippines made any difference.

i lived in the PI in the 80s and it was definitely, without one even single teeny tiny bit of doubt a 3rd world country back then especially when it came to healthcare...i would put money on him having not been vaccinated!!!
i might be a conservative but living in the PI back then made me believer in the need for a safety net of which there wasn't in the PI....even if it does get abused i saw first hand what no safety net looks like and it isn't pretty....i think things have improved considerably there now and filipinos get vaccinated for polio...

coast to coast has some awesome guests--a few months ago the guy who is writing elon musk's biography was a guest-Walter Isaacson, who also wrote steve jobs biographer.
the Coast To Coast AM radio show attracts some extraordinaire guests, likely due to it's large nationwide audience--plus the host George Noory always gives guests ample opportunity for guests to promote book/movie or whatever.
unfortunately noory is a really awful interviewer [imo] who often interrupts when guest is making a valid point, and uses the show to hawk a variety of enterprises he has ventured into....although the interviews get chopped up by noory's untimely interruptions and amateurish questions plus the extremely long commercial beaks, i consider CTC AM a very valuable source of information due to the Guests i don't see on more main stream shows.

Dr Jason Fung holds firm to his beliefs in the face of very valid criticisms of his interpretations of research. He says Calories don't matter in weight loss and carbs are evil. Having a Doctorate doesn't make your view points infallible, nor does it make you a sole authority.
If she makes a HUGE claim like that, then where is her evidence? She hasn't posted any data which backs that vaccination leads to MORE mutations. Obviously that could be her opinion, but an opinion without evidence can be dismissed without evidence, regardless of your credentials.

55% of Americans have been FULLY vaccinated.
and yet you have a increase of 300% of reported covid cases over the amount reported BEFORE vaccines and this is not counting all of us who have been infected since labor day 2020, and even the CDC admits it's very rare to be reinfected......draw your own conclusions.
btw---my wife and i have both together and individually been around people who have tested positive, and neither of us have been reinfected.

i wasn't able to read the entire story...but i did find it odd that a sri lanka 'shaman' would have the sirname of 'WHITE'...of course i don't personally know any sri lanka shamen, for all i know WHITE could be a common sirname for sri lanka shamen...
is that right...is plural form of shaman, shamen?

I just posted that because for a long time, Ive had a pet peeve with alternative medicine as a whole including traditional chinese medicine. So it got my attention.
I looked up the healer and although he is Sri Lankan, he is of British heritage.

I briefly tried finding more info last night but didnt put much energy into it nor did I care that much.
I assumed he had family influences with British Imperialism as his home country was in part British Colony (Ceylon, not sure if anything else) so that wouldnt be so far a bad guess.
Ceylon Tea is one of my favorite teas btw, especially if you get good fresh quality.

I'm willing to wager you have no idea what this actually is. The ban are being asked to provide high-level data to catch out tax avoiders. I mean sure, it's just another privacy grab but it's nothing on what the private data collectors do to you every second you are connected to the internet.
At the end of the day if I'm paying a higher effective tax rate than Jeff Bezos, I would want to know why and what is being done to prevent that.
Aren't you guys mad that you give away such a huge chunk of your money to tax while the high earners are effectively paying 1% or less? Maybe not, but a lot of people are mad that the bottom % of earners have barely earned more money than have since the 1970s, while soon we will have Trillionaires in our midst. Of trickledown economics worked, then this wouldn't be happening.
If you actually cared about your privacy, then you wouldn't use the internet at all. Advertising meta-data knows everything about you.
That rewards cards you swipe at every shop are linked to an email which is sold to advertisers. Your phone knows who you spend time with, and creates ads based on what they like or are searching for.
This is nothing compared to that

Rich people do pay the greater majority of taxes here in America, but if Im mad that the basic concept of punishing people for productive behavior. Personally, I think thats just a distraction people get caught up on so they compromise their own human rights.
Unfortunately most Americans will continue to vote either Republicrat or Demican and all of us are going to get the long end of the stick up the behind no matter what they corrupt parties preach and pretend to be.
