Question for new guy

New to the forum - just turned 40. Looking to gain lean muscle - 10 lbs or so and cut some body fat too. Train consistently- have for over 20 years and eat pretty clean. Tall and lean and have been a hard gainer.

I got some 11OXO and just started reading up on it. Not sure if it’s my best option. For the experts - what would you guys suggest. I appreciate the council

First, if you want to gain lean muscle you will have to put the body into a slight caloric surplus.
If you are looking to cut body fat you would have to put your body into a caloric deficit.
It's better to pick one goal than trying to do both which is a very long process and can get much harder as we age. And when you try and do both with opposite caloric goals its almost spinning the wheel

Before we look at products. Let's focus on how consistent you are with your caloric intake.
Are you meeting it daily?
If you are a hard gainer we should make sure you are getting ample calories to make a small surplus to gain muscle.
If you want to diet then you need to put yourself in a slight deficit to see changes in the mirror, lose fat and drop weight
If you can't take care of the diet aspect supplements won't really "Supplement" The diet for your goal.

Basic things you want before looking into anything extra
2-3g EPA/DHA from a quality fishoil - CL OxiMega is a great choice
A solid Multi -- CL Orange Triad, PES Multi Vitamin
5,000 IU of Vitamin D3 - NOW or any other generic brand
5g Creatine --- SNS has a good bulk option, and various other companies
Id also put a quality proboitic to keep digestion in check and making sure your GI Tract is absorbing the nutrients you are eating Evomuse - Gut Health is a top choice.

For a slight deficit
I would advise Yohimbine HCL or Alpha Y. Take it fasted first thing in the AM nd work up to .2mg/kg
Forskolin 95 at 50-100mg a day is a great product to add.

If you are looking for a slight surplus :
I'd suggest looking into BMP 2.0 from Evomuse. Not only has a lot of us seen great changes in the mirror, but it also is a valuable product to help keep bodyfat down while adding in calories and getting stronger.

I believe @The Solution has laid it out very well for you, the only thing I would add is that you should be getting at least 1 gram of Protein for every pound of body weight, if this is hard for you a protein shake may help. Good Luck !

Thank you very much for the reply - I appreciate it. I am tracking my calories and macros pretty good and will make sure I am getting a surplus in calories and trying my best to eat clean.

I currently take a good multi-vitamin and will take creatine from time to time. I'm not currently taking it because I'm about to do a pretty big hike and didn't want to be dehydrated. I've honestly been training consistently for a long time and eating pretty good and just looking for a little extra bump. Honestly not as concerned with the weight gain as much as better muscle tone. I had read about the 11OXO and found some so I bought it but haven't tried it yet. I don't know enough about messing with the hormone levels so I'm a little hesitant to try it. That's why I came here to get some advice.

Based on this would you still recommend the BMP 2.0 as my best option? Again, I appreciate the help.

Well how much weight are you gaining?
Over the last 4-6 weeks how much have you gained?
How is your strength in the gym?
Are you beating the log book?

Taking creatine won't dehydrate you. If you get an ample amount of water daily you will be 100% fine. Many athletes (long-distance) and regular gym goers take creatine to improve strength, performance, endurance, and recovery. That is why it is the #1 researched ingredient on the market. You should be taking it year-round at 3-5g a day. Not off and on.

I would still put more focus into your diet and training until we get more specifics until you think buying pills and powders will be your best alternative to reaching your end goal.

BMP 2.0 or the new Myosynergy are great tools, but you have to take care of the big picture before you can try and micromanage it with supplements.

Any tips on where to find the Myosynergy or the BMP 2.0? I haven’t had any luck. I appreciate it.

Where's everyone getting 11-OXO?!

Lol. Pure luck at this point. Best overall fat loss supplement I have used. Looking forward to texting apex flashpoint here though soon and hopefully have a new favorite :)

OP, you'd be doing well if you gained 10lbs lean tissue whilst losing body fat running AAS let alone 11oxo and a multi.
