Stress/anxiety support?

I’m a fan of the SNS Stress and anxiety support. I have been using it since it came out. I also use SNS Kannaease on some days and it seems to help with the mood aspect. Don’t expect them to work miracles and fix anxiety but they can help take the edge off for sure.

Not supplement related, but you would be surprised how well closing your eyes and taking a few slow deep breathes can really help acutely with moments of severe anxiety. Just a tool to keep in the toolbox!

Mild but noticeable and can be used daily: L-Theanine and Ashwagandha.

Strong but only for occasional use: Phenibut.

invictus-great for stress. and the best anti-cort i've ever used.

phenibut and kannaease are very helpful

Thank you. I'm glad that it helps you. It's a daily use supplement for me as well.

And I agree, KannaEase helps with the mood aspect and I feel like it can help me power or focus through being overwhelmed rather than feeling like I get mentally stuck if that makes sense.

Serenity is more of a one dimensional cortisol control based product for stress relief.

Stress & Anxiety Support is an ayurvedic and adaptogenic formula that is multi-dimensional and targets stress and anxiety from a variety of different pathways. All of the ingredients in Stress & Anxiety Support have a large number of clinical studies backing their inclusion in the formula - Rhodiola Rosea, Sensoril Ashwagandha, Bacopa, and Theanine.

Here is a great log on Stress & Anxiety Support if you haven't seen it:

Mild but noticeable and can be used daily: L-Theanine and Ashwagandha.

Strong but only for occasional use: Phenibut.

Agreed. And both of which are included in Stress & Anxiety Support (L-Theanine & Sensoril Ashwagandha).

Agreed also that Phenibut should only be used for occasional use, if used at all.

Depends what you think your stress/anxiety is related to...issues with dopamine ..serotonin...cortisol...gaba..glutamate..?.

Once you think you know you can approach it with amino acid therapy..then augment it with proven natural medicine like ashwagandha, rhodiola, relora, and ginseng..being the most well know.

Im depleted from serotonin from over use of Dopa Mucuna of the years..now im slowly recovering with tryptophan before bed ( 5htp and melatonin dont work for me) and following up through the day with KSM at 600mg and Rhodiola at 500mg 3% salidrosides.

Hope that helps.

KannaEase has been crazy effective for me, keeps the anxiety more level and eases the mind. KSM-66 is another thing I use it I’m not using KannaEase everyday.
I have never tried SNS stress and anxiety, but we all know SNS makes good quality products so I’m betting the combination of the two would be wonderful.

i only skimmed the thread so if I missed anything.....oops

If your Cortisol is elevated, lowering it will help.

Good question. How would I be able to tell if its dopamine/serotonin/cortisol?

Personal life has been extremely tough for a while now - out of work and also dealing with family. I'd prefer to try a natty solution to take the edge off before turning to anything prescription grade.

I'd like to know if one is better than the other and if the SNS rep recommends taking both at the same time

Stress & Anxiety Support and KannaEase can definitely be taken at the same time. There are a lot of people that stack them.

Stress & Anxiety Support:
The dosage is 1 to 2 capsules twice per day. I personally take 1 capsule twice per day (morning and night) every day and then take an additional capsule or two per day as needed. I suggest trying 1 cap twice per day, then 2 caps morning and 1 cap night, then 2 caps twice per day and finding the dosage that works best for you.

KannaEase:
The dosage is 1 to 2 capsules per day. Some people take KannaEase daily and then some people use it as needed for particularly stressful or rough days. My original plan had been to use it as needed but I realized that I feel much better when I use it daily so I take 1 capsule per day in the morning daily. Then I use an additional 1 capsule per day if I feel like I really need to.

SNS is really good about making line-ups that work synergistically. For example, I use lean edge for my recomp, non stim fat burner. And reduce XT as part of a protocol. I can essentially close my eyes and throw a dart at a board of SNS products and anything I hit will be stackable on top of my current regime.
Some things are really best, to my understanding, if they can work off the ingredients in each other, as the end-goal is so similar but it’s too hard to fit that much raw material to encompass everything in one cap/product without being overwhelming dosages and prices.
Like think stress +anxiety/KannaEase, CissusXT/joint support XT, Lean Edge with Thermogize, etc...... they are really meant for the same goals so they’ll be great together but they can be used effectively on their own as well.

Stress & Anxiety works well.

its on sale for $20 if interested

OK. I'll give the Stress and Anxiety a try. I'll experiment with the doses as you suggested. After a month or so, I can add kannaease if I feel its necessary. I'm usually under the "less is more" category. Any thought on how long the S&A usually takes to take affect?

I haven’t used S&A but can attest KannaEase I noticed first day

Some people say they can tell some difference from the very first day; others say within the first week. I think it depends on personal response to adaptogens and also probably how bad the stress and anxiety load is at the time they start.

It really helps me in terms of calmness and anxiety. Nothing makes problems go away, but I feel that it helps me stay calm when I would normally be more easily overwhelmed and takes the edge off to where I don't respond as negatively as I would've previously. I've also noticed for me that stress and anxiety definitely negatively effect my memory and I've noticed a big improvement with that - being able to remember more clearly in times of stress (Bacopa has been shown in clinical trials to help support that and is included in the formula).

If you have anymore questions, please let me know. And you're also welcome to pm me anytime, now or in the future.

For me L-Theanine works in 15-30 minutes. Ashwa takes a few days to notice.

Accurate naming of the product for it's purpose creating confusion. I was like what?? Till I realised you mean the symptoms, not the product, lol.

A bit of a different use, but I pop a KannaEase, a S&A Support and a GABA pill each night and sleep like a zombie, love it...

S&A is great, i have seen people here reporting from day1 .. for me on that 3rd day i remember was such an amazing relaxing feeling that all stress melting away and was started to sleep well again

Ha. Sorry about that. I should have been more clear. I've noticed for me that my stress and anxiety levels affect my memory in the sense that sometimes I feel like I couldn't remember things that I knew that I knew; Stress & Anxiety Support has definitely helped with that big time :)

Thanks for sharing.

I take my last dose of Stress & Anxiety Support some nights before bed and it definitely helps with restful sleep and I've just recently started using GABA before bed too. I take one KannaEase in the morning and the days I take 2 the second one is usually in the afternoon or early evening.

There are some night I can feel that I'm not going to sleep good so next time I feel like that, I'm going to try your idea and take that combo right before bed.

Just curious for those who have tried S&A, did ya'll notice a strong smell coming from the bottle? It almost makes the pills a little hard to take.

Here's some discussion about it in the latter part of this thread

Kvanh pointed out .. but incase you missed it

imo i never have noticed a smell strong enough from a capsule product to turn me away from taking it .. did a capsule break inside ? and i have gone through few bottles and never noticed that much of a strong smell

also here is some info posted by @sns8778 in that thread
"You could be explaining one of two things. Capsules are polished to clean the capsules and remove excess powder from them and a good grade alcohol is used in that process. Capsules are then left out before bottling for the smell to dissipate. If bottled too quickly, it can possibly cause something like that. Or bottles are thoroughly cleaned (again, using food grade alcohol) and even moreso than normal by many manufacturers during Covid times. Same thing, if sealed too quickly some of the smell could be trapped in the bottle. This isn't anything specific to a certain product, just the production process. "

There's two possibilities with what you're talking about.

1. The smell of the product itself which contains herbal ingredients, so they do have a smell.

2. What GQ quoted in the above post that I had posted in another thread:

I've used Stress & Anxiety Support consistently since it came out and never smelled anything that I would consider abnormal.

I never saw anyone mention this issue until a couple days ago so here's another thought:
- We have been out of stock for a couple of months although some retailers still have stock. This wasn't a small batch and we've received zero reported cases of this or questions about this and the batch is mostly sold out at retailers now. So the point being, at this time of the year when things go from hot to cold and back and forth a lot, it may be that temperature variances in transit may make it more pronounced. Just as for example, Cycle Assist if left in your gym bag or car and getting hot would have a different smell because NAC has a very strong smell when it gets hot.

We literally just got the newest batch in yesterday and I opened a bottle this morning myself. My sense of smell in general sucks bc of my allergies, but I notice nothing from it besides the smell of the herbs themselves.

AET-50 is back in stock and on BOGO through Sunday at 11:59pm EST.

AET-50 is a topical b-AET product. b-AET has a lot of interesting research showing protective properties against a variety of environmental stressors.

I'll post a little write up in a separate post:

We’ve already been discussing the weight loss benefits of b-AET on this forum and one study even seems to show that it may even help to treat obesity and metabolic syndrome(2). It may also assist by helping to lower insulin resistance in overweight people and lower cholesterol(3,7).
Aside from its benefits for managing weight, b-AET has been studied for numerous other health benefits. Several studies have explored its potential for immune health. b-AET has been shown in a live animal model to protect from viral, bacterial and parasitic infections. In live animal models, b-AET helped to increase the immune response to an infection(1). It also helped to prevent the immune system from being weakened by stress. b-AET helped combat the negative effects of glucocorticoids (chemicals released by the body in response to stress) on the activity of white blood cells and their ability to spread and reproduce(1). A “test-tube experiment” showed that b-AET increased white blood cell activity whereas other hormones did not(1). In a live animal model, b-AET augmented the immune response in adult animals (lab rats) and even reduced the decline of the immune system in the older rats(6).

b-AET also has potential impacts on other body systems. Studies showed that b-AET is unlikely to harm the liver or kidneys and was also unlikely to cause hormonal imbalances as a result of use(6), but it also has been studied for preventative and reparative effects. In a live animal model, b-AET was shown to slow the weakening of bones that occurs as severe burns heal(4). In a live animal model, where the subjects were exposed to severe (potentially fatal) trauma, designed to induce hemorrhaging, the group given b-AET prior to the trauma had a significantly greater survival rate(5).
One study even went so far as to state:
“b-AET, related compounds or synthetic derivatives may be part of effective therapeutic strategies to accelerate tissue regeneration and prevent or treat diseases associated with aging such as osteoporosis.”(8)

I wouldn't recommend you any of the treatments I use because it was decided together with my doctors. The treatment you want to take should be appropriate to your needs. Read more on Invalid Link Removed to understand that there are various methods used to fight anxiety or learn to cope with it. I have tried several of them and I can tell that I'm definitely feeling better right now even though there were periods with ups and downs. Overall, doctors are the ones to give exact prescriptions for every case. Don't rush into using everything on the market. It could lead to much more serious problems.

Some users say invictus helped with this as an effect. CBD is also another good option.
