Bro how tf you handle 2 scoops of JD with a cap of amp blows my mind lol. I consider myself a higher stim guy compared to average, but that’s a proper dose, that is!

In case you’re open to any unsolicited advice regarding the Farmer’s Walks: contests are most often 60ft runs, or have turns, or both combined. Turns without setting down were classic and have in recent years been coming back to shows - they build a lot more grip actually with lower weight. So if you want another variety trick sometimes with them, try going 30ft and then turn around a set point - it’s brutal.

So I measured and it’s a 20ft run with one turn. I’ll just do 2 turns haha.
I feel like I’m almost broken as far as stims are concerned. I honestly think I need a break but I haven’t found a proper replacement to get the job done.

As far as the advice, it’s always welcome. Strength training is a learning process. I keep this log to maybe teach a little but more so to learn from my peers.

Not too much to update. Worked last night, opened this morning and work all weekend. New job rules! Much better money and more time not spent traveling to and at work. I have 3 days off this week too.
With that being said I think my training days will be much better as I won’t be as tired. I took my last dose of mk677 yesterday. Gonna give it a break and really try and utilize it when my hunger isn’t there. Waiting on a package from Apex. I think Monday will start Ursa Major. I’ll start with 1ml and work my way up. I’ll also be continuing Helios for the foreseeable future. I have a few weeks left in my 8 week td laxo run. Clomid ends on Monday.
In all I definitely gained a good bit of mass during pct and I’m pretty comfortable sitting at 200lb for the time being. I think 205lb is going to be my ideal weight but we’ll see.

Making gains in PCT is good stuff. Sounds like the laxo and mk helped out.

Had an awesome bench session today. Energy and focus were on point. Weights definitely felt light than my last bench day. I took my time with this morning’s training. Took about 1.5hr to complete. I’m trying to incorporate my dumbbells more into accessory work as I feel like they sit there. My chest is already sore from this one which feels great. I really focused on hitting my tris in the second half now that all pain has subsided.
Random question for all of following. I have a good bit of pharma clomid and nolva sealed in blister packs. I noticed today they expired in 2018. I’m assuming like anything else since they’ve been stored properly they’re gtg. Am I correct?

Bench 3s
5x110, 140
3x165, 195, 220
8x250 amrap
3x275 joker
10x195x2/ 5x195

Incline dumbbell press
8x40/45/50 no rest in between sets
15x60
8x70
6x80
2x100

most pharma stuff has a crazy amount of contingency built into the expiry date - at worst they might have lost a little potency but it should be gtg imo.

just on the stims, this is interesting for me as I’ma massive stum guy and can easily take big doses but I stopped getting anything from it in training really. I ended up taking a break by default as I ran out a year or so back and had a lot going on, didn’t reorder as quick as normal but was training ok without. Then started powerlifting and started just using stims for big days (1-2 times a week at most), I found I got back some sensitivity to the actual product but it gave me a placebo boost as well. It’s now another thing I use when I know I’m pushing up the weight and need that boost (like I don’t put my belt on until heavier sets or sleeves until it gets heavier, like adding another weapon as the enemy gets bigger so you have that mental side of thinking ‘yeah it’s heavier but now I’ve got xxx helpings’)

i do drinking beetroot juice for that nitric benefit but aside from that I’ll not go back to stims every session again.

Update
Pct is officially over, well as far as serms go. I also dropped mk677 a few days ago and will most like pick back up in June. Gonna do a little recomp over the next 8wks before starting this blast. I introduced Ursa Major at 2ml per day this morning. I’ll ride that out for a little while and see if I need to up the dose. I’m still using 1ml Helios a day and see that not changing, love this stuff. I have a half a bottle of Laxogenin to finish and then I’ll be done with that. It definitely served it’s purpose during pct and I think I’ll run it or something similar during my next pct. Woke up at 196lb so I definitely lost some water weight after dropping the mk.
I took this picture as reference, relaxed upon waking.

Squat 3’s -Texas squat bar
5x160/200
3x240/280/320/360
5x280x3/10x280

SSB box squats +micro bands
8x95/135
5x225
8x225
3x275

Vertical press
10x180x3

Squats felt great today. I really focused on hitting depth and breathing. My FSL is starting to get a little taxing as it gets heavier. I decided to save up for my last set and hit 10 rather than 5. Got out the ssb for some box squats, well I use my bench, at a really wide stance. Threw on the mini bands to make it a little more interesting. These are definitely going to be done more.

I realized that by taking off the handles on the ssb I can do an axle strict press with my low ceilings. As long as I don’t use plates larger than 25. I’m excited about this since I can essentially work up to 220lb with the plates I have. I did a few sets of 135 as a trial run.

Titan has the econo reverse hyper on back order. Tuesday happens to be my 9 year sober anniversary so I may be buying myself a gift. However, I’m getting quotes on installing A/C so I can’t bring myself to do it since it won’t ship until June. What do y’all think? @Hyde I’m looking at you

Dooo iiit, ha ha.

We moved into this house a couple years ago and it's my first in my adult life with central heat and air. I don't know how I made it for so long without. It's glorious.

edit, just saw the above that it's happening. Hell yeah!

Haha yeah I moved here from south Florida I haven’t had the air off in the past 8 years. I’m sure @Renew1 can relate. A/c is a must we just bought this house in the city with a few old decrepit window units, which I threw on the curb for the scrappers. Now I’m getting estimates on split level systems but they’re pretty damn expensive

LOL.

Yeah, brother ... I can relate.

I would've kept those old decrepit window units until I got something else to make the air cool.

LOL.

Well it’s really a question of whether it creates any instability or risk for your family with the extra gym expense. Like does it affect your budget, or just savings? And is that untouchable or is there some wiggle room?

It has been basically a godsend for helping managing some chronic back issues very recently. It is an awesome piece and if you intend to get a reverse hyper at any point this is the one. Cost is lowest and quality is way higher than I expected. This is the responsible choice if getting one for the home. But it’s up to you if that is still irresponsible at this time.

I think this was the best pressing day I’ve had in a long time. After adjusting the weight so that I’m getting a full rom(below the beard haha), the bar is just flying up. After my amrap I threw in 2 joker sets, with weight I knew I could murder but still be challenging. My new goal is going to be 215 for 5. I did something a little different for my accessory. After watching Swede(elitefts) on YouTube last night talking about accessories for squats specifically but targeting the same muscles in a different manor using the cambered bar, I decided to carry this over to the press. I have cambered attachments so I just turn my power bar into a rackable camber bar. For those of you who have never used one, once you add weight this f&cker swings like a pendulum. If you don’t have strict form you’re gonna fail. I felt really good working up to 140 but that 20lb jump to 160lb felt like 225lb. This will be an accessory after seated military for a little while as the upper/lower back and core are also getting hit as well as my shoulders. Ended the workout with dumbbell front lateral raises, went pretty light as I was basically tapped out. Followed this with facepulls using 40lb of plates on the cable (weight doesn’t transfer like a commercial gym pulley) , just basically did 50 burnout reps with a nice pause to hit the rear delts.

Military press 3’s
5x80/105
3x125/145/165
6x185
3x205 joker set 1
2x215 joker set 2
10x145x2/5x145

Cambered bar strict press
10x70x2
10x90
6x120/140
4x160
7x120

dumbbell front raise
8x25x3

Facepulls

They are but you can actually get a rackable camber bar for like $60 more. I was impatient during the height of COVID and bought these. Best part is they came rusted so Titan just credited me rather than have me send them back. So I’m not complaining. Titan does that a lot, honestly if you get beat up equipment.

Jesus bro, the best used equipment I can find around my neck of the woods is sh!tty old benches that wouldn’t support 200lbs. I have garbage knees and would personally stick with the leg press. I also train differently than you, so my two cents is probably useless here haha.

I like the vertical press don’t get me wrong and the fact that it was free after selling off some extra plates that came with it makes it’s fine for what it is. I just don’t like how unstable it feels. I’m sure it’ll withstand the weight but it doesn’t sound like it and that makes me weary. I’m also thinking about selling my preacher curl, I just don’t use it and I’m working with limited space. Selling either piece will result in pure profit that I won’t think twice about putting right into more equipment.

i had one of these in my gym for a few years and loved it - as did members. The ease with which you can get atg really allows you to smash the glutes in particular.

I’m a very quad dominant squatter so for me the benefits were really clear.
