Not sure if I can link source here as they also carry Trestolone and Phera injectables but I work with a place that sells Carnitine and a slew of other goodies

If I understand it right (and by understand if I mean if what I hear from Derek on MPMD) aren’t most products at a concentration that means your pinning a lot of liquid every day?

he’s a fan of it but that was his issue, most places have too low a concentration to make it practical?

Fair but if you get *too* concentrated, it will disrupt the tissue and cause bruising, no matter how solid your injection technique is. The traditional 200 mg/ml stuff goes in super smooth and pain free, even in small body like biceps.

I posted this video on my Discord months ago to show how easy it is shooting the 200 mg/ml stuff:

Now that said I do recommend the 400 mg/ml concentration to save pokes, this is about as high as you can go without it being a bit too much at times. I've tried 500 and 600 mg/ml stuff with mixed results; sometimes its fine, sometimes it lumps or bruises. It's just the nature of the beast when you're injecting such a high concentration of carnitine.

what dose do you use again (sorry I know this in your other thread but I’m being lazy)?

800 mg a day is my maintenance dose. I've got carnitine in 200, 400 and 600 concentrations in the house + some blends with carnitine and other aminos so sometimes I'll do 1g+ but 800 is my minimum.

fair enough

for me 2ml daily pinning would be a lot to be honest.....

Watch the video, those water based amino shots go in smooth as butter and half an hour later you can't even remember where you shot it's totally painless

How long have you been doing carnitine IM? What kind of effects can you attribute to it?

5 months straight now

Huge pumps, increased vascularity. Better mental energy due to the oxygenation. I'm eating tons of carbs every day and maintaining my bodyfat level. I should also mention, amusingly enough, I tested very highly for oxygenation despite popping positive for Covid a week back, they were stumped by that and I had to play dumb at the Dr. office, kind of funny

Hi all,

I just purchased some injectable L-Carnitine and in have a few questions. I will be dosing 200 mg twice a day (400 mg total). My questions are:

1) What are the best sites on the body to inject?

2) Does injectable L-Carnitine need to be injected intramuscular or subcutaneous?

3) Do I need to refrigerate the vial of liquid l-carnitine?

Thanks in advance for any help in this.

Best,
John

Anyone know if L-Carnitine needs to be cycled off? I've been on injectable and occasionally oral l-carn for a while now?

Funny I see this thread, I ran into a few guys I used to see at my old gym that were looking absolutely ripped from the last time I saw them, and I jokingly asked where the tren vending machine was. They swear that they just started adding in 500mg l-carnitine every other day with a lot of carbs to normal TRT. If I had not been seeing similar results during my research I would call BS.

Ding dang, this sounds like a worthy add on for sure!

Any board sponsors stock it? I'm on the hunt now!

You can still find it on vet sites. Just saw some the other day for 500mg/ml @ 30ml for 45 bucks.... Daily injections though, no thanks

Number I have heard are around 2-6g of L-Carnitine L-Tartrate or 500mg of injectible per day. I'm currently taking 4g of oral L-Carnitine per day.

Edit; Something which is overlooked, oral L-Carnitine has poor bioavailability, but is better absorbed when taken with carbohydrates,

I just use AA's research chem carnitine for injectable but maybe using the veterinarian stuff would be ok too lol

I think it's worth noting that since it's just carnitine, you can brew your own injectable without too much issue

4x a week is plenty, unless you are specifically using it primarily for maximum lipolysis in a deficit you’d want it more often. It’s a longterm thing though ideally, like GH. Not something you just use for 8 weeks.

So it's not something you can just try a bottle and see if you like it.

How long have you been using 400mg/day? I'm assuming it's 400mg/ml, if so how is the injection with that concentration?

Yeah it may be injectable but don’t expect AAS type results. It helps do good things over a long period of time if the other pieces of the puzzle are in place.

I'm on week 12 of blast...

I was using before that with TRT...several months now...I take it in capsule form sometimes too

L-carnitine has a few more benefits besides increasing muscle androgen receptor content; it also increases uptake of testosterone and igf-1 to the cells and may increase luteinizing hormone secretion by protecting the cells of the testes from oxidative stress.

And just FYI, the oral bioavilability is like 14%
So I take like 4000mg when I do take it

Does anyone have a source for injectable l-carnitine that they trust? I have been using Amino Asylum’s L-Carnitine 400mg/ml for about 7 months now but their quality has has gone downhill. I will order 4 bottles at a time of their 20 ml bottles that contain 400mg per ml and not only are each of the 4 bottles different sizes but also the viscosity of the liquid in each varies greatly per bottle.

Some of the bottles of the l-carnitine 400mg are very thin and like water and other bottles have liquid in it that is thick like sludge and barely wants to be drawn into the syringe. Given that all bottles are 400mg/ml of l-carnitine, the consistency should not vary that much. Looking for a new source that offers high quality L-Carnitine if anyone has any recommendations.

I've been using AA for a while...never had an issue...maybe reach out to the company. My 400mg L Carn from them always looks the same...

Got my order of L-Carnitine from Chase Irons and the vial was cracked and all the liquid leaked out. I emailed Chase Irons and he responded within minutes and sent me out a replacement vial the same day. He has really great customer service!
On the other hand I emailed Amino Asylum about the issues I had with their injectionable l-carnitine and they were very defensive about it. When I asked for 3rd party test results confirming their l-carnitine was indeed what they claim it to be, here is the response I got from them:

“No, we don't have them.... we had a customer test the 600 - thats what I was telling you. The process never changes and has been the same
for almost 4 years. You don't have bad product, feel free to send it off for testing and we would gladly reimburse you for it”

All I’ll say is I am done with Amino Asylum. I will never purchase from them again.

Lol so much for subtlety...
Subtlety? How so? I actually use a different L carnitine product that’s cheaper and dosed higher.
