Did anyone read the latest article on ergolog? Apparently, it increases testosterone levels and keeps your liver and kidneys healthy. This was based on an Egyptian study done on animals. It corroborates a Chinese study where they saw similar testosterone increases using Date pollen.

I guess that explains the temperamental nature of folks in the Middle East (lol!) but seriously, it sounds intriguing.

Where did you get date palm powder from? I saw date seed powder on Amazon (Ajwa) and I thought of giving it a try.
Semen cuscutae tincture? That doesn't sound very tasty...

if you go to ergo-log, everything increases testosterone. black seed, tigernut, sorghum (DHT), beets, onions, garlic, pomegranate. I am not downplaying excellent information there but appears whole food diet is key.
I've come to this conclusion as well lol

The link to the study is down, so I downloaded the whole thing and attached it if anyone wants to give it a read. I always think it's a little bit humorous that supplement sections all across the internet latch on to ANYTHING that can potentially increase testosterone. This study was done in rats and not humans, so there's really no way of knowing whether it works in exercise trained men. This study is also from China, and it's not that I don't trust the scientific method of Chinese researchers, but often times they'll come out with a study that has beneficial results for a rare seed or nut or plant that they have in abundance that they want to try and get on the supplement market so they can drive up sales.

IMO, I wouldn't waste my time on this stuff.

I really think Ergo-Log is a great site. Yes, they do hype up stuff, but they provide the studies, the dosages involved, and whether or not they think it's a worthwhile investment. I really enjoy reading their articles, they're very well put together.

Well, dates grow very plentiful in the Middle East too. But if you're talking about the study linked in the Ergo Log article, it's from China.

Also, what's up with the Dental College in Pakistan being listed?

EDIT: I saw the study you linked. Unfortunately it's also in Winstar rats and not in humans, so still again, we need to see it's effects in weight trained males before we can conclusively say this boosts testosterone.

Also, one other thing. No testosterone boosting supplement in the world is going to bring you to levels you could get exogenously. Meaning, it might raise them to their natural peak (rare, if at all), but it wouldn't go above that because your body has a negative feedback loop through homeostatis that prevents LH, FSH, etc to get high enough beyond that.

I think everyone is aware of this. Im not sure anyone thinks that consuming date seeds is going to be comparable to test injections lol

You'd be surprised what some of these advertisers of herbal test boosters claim and what people expect of them.
