I guess critical thinking is that we launched 13 giant Saturn 5 rockets for an elaborate ruse? In reality we managed 6 moon landings and brought back soil samples as proof. China recently did an even more complex landing on the dark side. Or are they in on the secret conspiracy faux landings??

How about the 6 space shuttles flying 135 missions?? Did we lose those blueprints too, or did they also reach the end of their useful service life??

What about the race for Mars? How many fantastic human achievements are going to be completely lost and wasted on generation-D (denial)?!?!?

i am still waiting for the evidence that was promised to come out about the vegas shooting...anyone in their right mind knows they shut that story down. the question is how were they able to shut it down? why were there no reporters doing follow up stories and why did the media let them get away with shutting that story down?

btw-where is robert mueller, anyone heard anything?

What do you think might have been behind the Vegas shooting? I can believe one gunman. But what was the likely motive?

i admit i don't have a clue...i was watching that story very closely and then information just stopped? i don't know what or why, but they don't want us to know the whole story. the biggest mass shooting in our history and the media let them shut it down with no follow up investigation, this makes me wonder...and if media went black on this story how many other stories are they going black on and why?
 
Maybe they hit a dead end and never found out why he did it? Didn't he wipe out all his computers ahead of time?

I always thought his wife was somehow a part of the story. Saw a picture of them in Dubai at some point. Always makes me curious when shooter pay a visit to the middle east prior.

He was also on pharmaceuticals. Video games and psychotropic drugs is a bad combo. Pretty common link in mass shootings it seems...

you have to admit-it should have been a much bigger story with a whole lot more follow up by media than what it was given?


they had tons of video and many people at the casino/hotel had contact with him why weren't their stories told?

why wasn't there a tv special or book about it...i mean come on look at the campus tower shooting and all the follow up that was done, and this was a bigger story, imo.

there was a lot of mis-information put out about waco to be sure, but at least there was info put out--they just shut the stream of info on the vegas shooting down.....i bet most of the people on this forum don't even know the vegas shooters name without looking it up, but many more know david koresh because of the coverage it was given.

Do you think its possible for a single person to take out 60 people, hit 411 more with just 1,058 rounds with the weapons the Vegas shooter had? That sounds pretty freaking impressive to me for someone without a military background hit almost 50% of his shots on moving target, but Im not an expert with this kinda stuff.

It’s not unreasonable. He had a high position firing into a compacted crowd with little to nowhere to run very fast. He had multiple weapons staged to save on reload time. He could have been more lethal...

Absolutely possible. It was a huge crowd and he was spraying hundreds (if not thousands?) of rounds. The 50% hit ratio is probably exaggerated, and rifle rounds may hit more than one person in a dense crowd. (Edit)

It is difficult to hit a moving target at distance, if you are aiming at that specific moving target. It's NOT difficult at all to hit several moving targets at random among thousands in a crowd while spraying bullets.

Nice try. It’s very simple to understand with simple observation. You just use scientism to rationalize and make yourself feel better with confirmation bias. Human ego and fear in science/academia propagates lies. People don’t want to go against their deeply held truths. So they regurgitate the popular opinion.

Why does there even have to be a reason? We like to romanticize tragedy and have a desire to pin extraordinary events on extraordinary possibilities.

I believe that extraordinary events can simply happen because someone is loose and has nothing else left to lose. I don't have to rationalize things I don't understand and package them into some deep state conspiracy. I simply think that there are people out there that would rather see the world burn for no other reason than it gives them joy.

I can't build an aircraft, but I trust those that do enough to step in one every other week.

You're not "woke" because you refuse to listen to people smarter than you.

One small example: Ax1 stated that a journal was liberal because of a paper published in it. If you didn't know how journals worked, the layman 'observation' would appear correct. Except in reality the journal didn't write the article. It published it. And so did many other journals.

That is why you simple observation doesn't work when you have no idea about what something actually working can look like.

Haha it is a tiny mistake, but the point was more that observations can be wrong, and that even a small error can drastically change the outcome.

A rocket once crashed because the engineers didn't prepare for integer overflow. Small error, huge consequence that simple observation could misconstrue

my guess is they were checking a persons social media posts if they had probable cause much like the police do...but this seems different, they are supposedly looking at every military members social media posts without probable cause to do so---this seems like a witch hunt, imo.

My guess is that active Dump supporters along with people who question the integrity of our election process are labeled as potential terrorist threats and they are combing through the military to mark that down just like they did in DC a couple weeks ago.

in 2001 there were 265 firearms manufacturers in the USA...in 2021 there are 143 although demand for firearms is higher than the supply?

i used to watch the jesse ventura show every time it was on...back then i thought maybe jesse was smoking too much pot, but now remembering the stuff he talked about is like a horror movie come to life....and the democrats called trump a nazi????

Remington was bankrupt earlier this year, just as the mass demand for firearms went up. That was a classic company.

The FEMA camp episode was banned from TV, the network got a call from someone, never ever replayed again.

Do you remember he covered the Ozark Mountain region? The one where the US Government has a secret super massive apocalypse bunker for WWIII?

Did you know Winchester doesnt make their guns in the USA anymore? They make them in Turkey. They actually have some decent toys for hunting and plinking, but Im not buying any anytime soon.

Just really bothers me an all time American classic is made overseas.

A lot of manufactures don’t. I have a browning that is made in Japan. Turkey makes fine firearms.

I remember doing my own research (I found 10 year old posts of mine!) and finding the company that makes the coffins. They are called "Oversized Vaults" and can hold several people each, and are flat topped so you can stack them. Hundreds of thousands of them had been ordered back in the day by DHS.

My first gun was a Winchester SXP (assisted pump, most known for speedy, smooth manual pump from the classic 1300 family line) before I knew anything. Generally people respect the quality coming out of Turkey, most of the complains are just political. I really dont regret getting it, Id prefer an American made gun but thats just me....I love my SXP. Hope to finally try out clayshooting this spring when they open up shop again at my range. Im just going casually for fun, so this economical gun is just fine.
