Conspiracy theories are like a religious cult, in that they are based more on a passionate belief than fact. And any facts presented are selective at best.
For example - religious people will often argue that the universe and everything in it had to come from something. HAD TO. It could not have always just been there. So then you ask where God came from to make the universe? And they say, he was always there. Then you get the barrage of detailed papers and youtube videos and selective science and facts meant to prove an opinion, that the Universe could not always have just been there. And yet total acceptance of magical spirit powers to make the opposite true, that god was always there and could 'poof' the universe into existence. Man could not have evolved, scientifically impossible. God "poofing" a woman from a rib? Absolutely. One directional scientific analysis. LOL
The 9/11 conspiracies are no different. Tons of expert opinions and selective facts to argue what something ISN'T, but virtually nothing to make a better case for what it IS. Case in point, the pentagon. If you want to argue that it wasn't a plane, then fine. Explain an alternate theory that stands up to the same level of internet scrutiny. If it was a missile, then what kind of missile, where did it come from, and what happened then to the missing plane?? You can't claim logic to dismantle the plane theory, and then offer not a scintilla of evidence to support the missile theory and play deaf/dumb to any further logical analysis.
We know there was a giant plane in the sky and a giant plane sized hole in the building. Imagine that?!??! Test the missile theory. Name a missile (any missile) that doesn't just blow a hole in the face of a building, but can PLOW a 12-16ft hole some 300ft deep into the building... and then find a missile like that being unaccounted for.
Forget the $2.3 trillion!! Totally irrelevant to any physical damage assessment. A ridiculous red herring. Stick to the basics of what can possibly make a plane sized hole in the building. The plane circling above that we know about? Or an imaginary missile that we have no record of ever existing, that was never launched, and never reported missing.
But 100 pilots say it wasn't possible?? How many thousands of pilots say it was?! It had to be something. The magic bullet defense does not apply here. And the same conspiracy guys argued against that, too....
(*note on building steel and fires... YES the towers were hit by planes. And didn't fall. And never would have were it not for the fires. Note north tower hit at 8:46am and fell at 10:28pm. South tower hit at 9:02 am and fell at 9:59am. About 1 hour later. Spray on fire protection for structural steel is rated for 1-2 hours depending on application. Hmmmm, Imagine that! Science? Conspiracy? Or magic??)
