heard from a reliable source that mre lite uses collagen protein and that essentially doesn't build muscle? any truth?

Collagen protein should not be counted towards daily protein intake. Terrific supplement for skin and to provide raws for joint repair, I use it routinely, but it’s an incomplete protein source. All collagen will say this on the packaging.

Nah... (Thankfully not. I Love the stuff).

Salmon SKIN is about 1/3 Collagen, though.

does it seem off they wont release amino content though?

Redcon1 is owned by Aaron Singerman. Of Blackstone Labz and Prime Nutrition, previously worked with Iron Mag. The guy has done some slimy stuff in the supplement business, like when Intra MD didn’t contain the right ingredients and he signed off on it anyway to be made as such.

I have used some of their opened products. They have good flavoring, support some athletes I really like, and maybe he’s changed as a man. But I do not trust them and will not buy from them.

I have no evidence at all that MRE Lite isn’t legit. I have all the evidence I need to avoid Redcon. Once bitten...

This.
No 3rd party tests either to back the products

RedCon1 says they are Stack3d Certified Brand which apparently does 3rd party testing.

And if you go to Stack3d
Redcon1
Latest test – Grunt, 02/03
Tested for full EAA profile

The only thing is Grunt.
Now comparing a BCAA/EAA to a protein blend that includes things like Salmon, beef, and egg is night and day.
