So, I have been working all day and kind of disconnected from the world and just now saw all that has happened.
Listening to CNN is horrifically damaging to my brain cells. Their journalism is on the level of a first grader.
They are going on and on about how the police are holding back rioters and you can hear the screams. The video behind them shows a long of police with a single guy holding a flag and he seems to be having a peaceful conversation with the police through their shields. I assume it is loud there, so maybe he had his voice elevated to get over the crowd? But no one seemed to be threatened at all.
They then have a scene where they start ranting about how it is predominately white males at the March. They apparently didn't count the 5 women and 2 men in the background. One second later they are talking about children at the "riots".
They then talk about the violence- and to be clear I am not condoning violence at this point- but they list the one woman who was shot and then start listing things like a man falling off a wall he was climbing and getting hurt as violence. Um.., that isn't violence unless he was kamikazying someone. And if there us so much violence, why do you need to include accidents to make your case?
if there is a lot more violence that I haven't heard about, open to hearing about it because what do I know at this point. It may just be an example of how low the intelligence of CNN reporters is that they cannot report on the factual violence that is going on.
The images vs. The narrative was very disconcerting. Somehow the journalists hold steadfast to BLM and Antifa protests being peaceful and not riots while the video footage they air has burnng dumpsters and people getting in fights, etc.
Then they have this footage and they drum up that these are riots and violent? It is crazy.
And of course people claim it is Antifa that showed up. And of course the other side claims that is just a claim from the right. But what happened? Now overtaking cities is NOT OK? Suddenly it is like BLM and Antifa never did this? Ok, they didn't. They were much more violent. The police were often isolated and openly threatened in those protests, but here no one is doing any such thing.
Again, if there is a more complete list of all the violence, I would love to see it. And I will admit there are some crazy Trump supporters who go a lot further than I do or think things I think are incongruent with my beliefs - every group has crazies. Most people are idiots, it doesn't matter what side you are on...but it is sickening how the media is so biased and drums up hatred in order to serve their own success.
I was more stuck by the idea that having a single additional vote is considered "stacked". Basically the only way, in his mind, not to have a "stacked court" is to have an exact 50/50 split.

A woman did lose her life and I am sorry for that and that probably shouldn't have happened. Not condoning that. But that seems to be the extent of the tragedy so far. People were all for taking over police stations and capital buildings when it wasn't in their capital.

Exactly what I was thinking. BLM/Antifa get away with worse for how many months of threatening the livelihood and security of American citizens. All of a sudden It’s a completely different story when it comes from the other side and threatens the security of politicians. We can’t have that!
Then we have the media and China Joe condemning Trump for what occurred today, which is nothing less than a product of their own doing.

I can basically agree with this. The issue is this statement is NOT what the media and all the liberals were pushing in 2020. Rioting, dumpster fires, destroying stores, damaging public property, taking over police stations and other public buildings was all deemed to be "peaceful protesting" and if you questioned it you were against the constitution.
I don't condone any of that and what happened in damaging the buildings has to stop...but they don't need to go home or stop the entire protest. It would be nice if Democrats admitted the same when the show was on the other foot.
And this isn't saying you specifically...this is aimed at the media like CNN, Twitter, WaPo, Facebook and many many liberal thinking people.

The media is being the media and making a huge deal out of this while dismissing the fact that team Biden bailed out violent BLM rioters over the summer and did nothing to stop any of that. Protests and riots are OK when it aligns with their agenda, or until it invades their own sacred space.
The media calling these Trump supporters mobsters and anarchists is only going to fire these people up even more...

Funny, the protester that was shot and keeps getting referred to as a Violent Trump Supporter was shot by police for not obeying commands. I thought this was only done to black people? Or maybe nobody cares because regardless of her skin color she supported Trump so it was OK to shoot her.
Being real, people have to make split second decisions and the cop MAY have been justified or somewhat justified...I don't know. I am just sickened by how the media coverage is so biased and manipulative.

Hmm, one might say that’s exactly what China Biden’s campaign has been doing all along that brought us to this point.
On another note, this is all largely an extension of the ongoing damage the George Floyd BLM protests/riots ignited. It’s now fashionable to have large protests like this for anything contentious. While I like seeing it from the other side for a change, we really need to get away from this trend of behavior.

Couldn’t agree more! I have to say that I enjoyed seeing images of politicians wearing gas masks and taking cover within their little safe space. Hopefully it brings an element of humility and they realize they are not completely protected from Americans when they get really pissed off.
Forget about police defunding and reform. We need politician defunding and reform in a big way!

It wasnt proven in the courts because judges knew anything they did to help prove fraud charges would be viciously attacked in the media and wouldn’t allow enough time to meet the Electoral College deadlines without creating national chaos. The problem is not a lack of evidence, it’s that judges have refused to look at the evidence, and have instead dismissed case after case based on legal technicalities. Then the media repeatedly references it all as baseless claims.
It’s just more propaganda and cover ups, but there are a great deal of democratic and republican voters who aren’t buying into any inclination that election 2020 was legitimate by any means.
