Arimidex during cycle

I've been told and read contradicting things.. on one hand, I've got folks saying take it EOD or every 3 days while on cycle, on the other hand I've got folks saying don't take it unless you feel like you need it. In regards to this, I've been doing the latter.. what exact signs should I be paying attention too and I'm going onto my 5th week of Test Sus.. when I go to get blood work, should I take Arimidex the day before, a week before, what should I do to make sure I get accurate estrogen count in my bloodwork.

If you want a true reflection of what effect the test dose is having on your estro then you wouldn’t take any ai before the bloods.

with regard to whether you should take it, I’m a firm believer that you only take it if you need to. Anyone giving you a definite ‘take 0.5 e3d’ or something like that clearly doesn’t understand individual response and should be ignored. Some guys can run 700mg a week with no ai, others need some at 200mg.

personally I wait for the feeling in my nipples (sensitive and little painful) to occur, you can also start to feel a soft putty like build up behind them. Then I dose. Doing that for a few weeks and it’s pretty easy to dial in a consistent dose (for me it’s 12.5 asin once a week on 600mg test). Of course it’s useful to confirm with bloods as often as you are able.

Height, weight BF%, cycle experience, amount of test you are taking...........so many variables. As Whisky stated if you have no nip issues right now and are not taking some obscene amount of test I would take zero and get the sensitive E2 test when you pull labs. If your numbers are stratospheric then you can add some in at that point. AI's suck for so many reasons when taken in excess/when not needed.

I'd get blood work. Male bodies don't deal with excess E2 very well.

Thank you, whats the "half life" normally is what I would ask.. however it says about a a day or two.. so that's how long my estrogen stays suppressed out of a week? Which also means I get the blood work done on the third day, fourth day?

the half life is approx 2 days but what that means is that after a couple of days you only have half the active compound remaining (exerting it’s effect)

when to test depends on what you want to see, if you want to know what impact the test is having with no ai present you’d need to wait roughly 10 days for the adex to clear, then test.

if you want to check your levels based on using a certain dosage then I would go the mid point between doses (if you test shortly after dosing your e would be showing lower than it is generally and if you go just before a dose e will show higher than it is, you really want the average so you know broadly where it’s at. If I was dosing 0.5 monday and 0.5 Thursday I’d test on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning

Well whats more benefit to be testing, should I do a test without an AI present, so that I know whether I'm one of those folks that don't get huge estrogen rebound? Or should I just be trying to see how much the AI does help/not help, after i take a dose and get bloodwork.
