Did you watch Tenet? I did something I never done before, my wife and I watched it twice back to back which was over 5 hours none stop so I could understand what just happened. Woke up in the morning with a migrane headache and advil in my mouth.

I loved that movie. You really have to watch it multiple times. Each time you catch some details you missed the first time around. John Wick style action, but with a very deep storyline. Love it. Probably my favorite movie of 2020.

I'm also a conservative. Does that mean all Republicans are saints...HELL NO! Rhinos mitch( aka Rich) mcconnell, Romney, Kemp the list goes on. But Conservatives are fighting for out constitution. I believe the fight will go from Dem's vs Rep to, Those in power vs the people.

Besides Rand Paul I’m trying to think of one single politician that isn’t a self serving corrupt c*nt that deserves to face a firing squad for treason.
 
So in today’s King Cumho’s briefing he said the Vaccine won’t cost anybody a single penny, 6 minutes later he is talking about raising every bodies taxes in March saying “it’s going to be difficult." This of course after he destroyed an already broke NY economy taking away jobs now your taxes are raised.

Isn’t that wonderful!

He did say insurance companies are 100% responsible for paying all the medical fees for the vax....inbeforeinsuranceratehikes...butttt....its going to be difficult I’m sure ya’ll understand!

No one in the US has more corona blood on their hands like Cuomo. Who in their right mind would put sick people back into senior homes. Cuomo is a walking contradiction.

The key word used is 'misinformation'. I.e. if people keep sharing that the vaccine is a way for the lizard people to infect baby infants into the blood of the woke, then I'm OK if they shut the crazies down.

People are buying into those theories at alarming rates, which is dangerous.

If it is discussion around safety using actual evidence as a basis,then healthy skepticism should be allowed.
Except now the word evidence simply means 'i read it on facebook and the person mentioned they were a doctor with 1000 years experience'

Edit: So I went to the gym today and we already have to make reservations but now, apparently a lady came in around 70 and complained about the capacity. So she called the health board and now we have to pick up a card that states where we will be working out that day. I about lost it on so many levels.

Let's be real. If Facebook and Twitter truly started censoring misinformation on their sites they would have an empty website. They are social networks...no one should see them as useful for any information beyond what their friend ate for lunch.

i want to know what qualifications the censors at facebook have to determine what is misinformation and what is healthy skepticism. also what the guidelines will be for distinguishing between the two.

Well, I think this was to be expected, and it’s good to know that there does appear to be some transparency with reporting it.

I got mine today, (now yesterday) as I stated I would, and I feel fine so far- for what it’s worth. I actually feel better than this morning because I happened to have a headache before...ha! In the link you provided, there is indeed the option to participate in daily “check in texts” with the CDC for a week, and then weekly up to 7 weeks. I might be off on that by a bit as I don’t have it right on me, and I didn’t sign up right yet. Point is, they want ongoing collection of reactions etc..

So yeah, I feel fine after getting it 11 hrs ago, except for some moderate injection site arm pain as with the flu vaccine. So not sure if people know this, but it’s ultimately recommended that people who have previously had the China virus to get immunized as well. Not people with current active cases though of course.

This whole pandemic is a mess, but it‘s the reality of things. The vaccinations are another tool in giving us hope to getting back to some degree of normalcy. I think we all have to open our minds and sort of bite the bullet if at all possible. While it may feel like government controlling our lives, as it may well be, it’s really our only hope. I don’t want to go on living in the world like this..

The flu needs a new shot, every season. They guess the strain, its supposed to be 50% chance it works.

What makes people think the vaxx is the cure to the dark ages? What do they really know, after all this is all new and rushed.

I told my wife, we will get it when we have to, we may not have a choice if we need to travel overseas, but lets just not be first in line.

I have read a few things- but this is my ”general take”

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will result in our bodies producing those spike proteins that are synonymous with COVID-19- without actually getting the virus. The protein spikes are harmless without being attached to the actual virus. Then our immune system produces antibodies in response to those spike proteins as it would from an actual infection. Covid-19 will likey not mutate so much that the spikes will be altered all that much, and if they do- it will take much more time than mutations that occur with the flu for example.

I have read that the Pfizer of Modern vaccines could be capable of protecting up to 10, 20 years or more (best case scenario). It is new and rushed, but the technology is far more advanced and capable of yielding the high efficacy as opposed to to the flu vaccine which of course does not.

If I wake up in the morning and feel like my ass is falling off, I might have a slightly less optimistic attitude...
