Donald Trump running for president

Thanks guys as I know people who personally went through sick stuff like that. It destroys them and they will NEVER be the same. The ones who commit these acts deserve to be beheaded

live from daryl's house 'No Can Do' feat cee lo green....this is a fantastic version of one of my old favorites, just love this!!!

Cee lo may be the only other person shorter than me lol
i highly recommend giving that song a listen to...not normally a big cee lo fan but he and daryl hall rocked it--very cool groove to that song...

just got thru listening to metalica-enter sandman live in moscow 1991--best version, imo.

And my statement saying i wouldnt generalize christians as inherently good or bad people would show that i likely dont support generalizing atheists as good or bad either, wouldnt it?

I dont really care what you label me. All i want to be is thought of as a “good”, caring person to those who personally know me or come in contact with me, and i try to live my life every day with that goal. I dont need a religion or a Deity to tell me thats the right thing to do.

Hey man, I respect you and I don't agree with the conclusions that Iwilleattuna has proposed - they are very different from how i choose to view life. And lots of people in this thread view life through different filters and you often are able to see some of the viewpoints that differ from yours even if you don't agree. It is part of your intelligence.

But the bold in your post sums it up nicely. Apply your own view. Don't judge him as being a good or bad person on his beliefs - Tuna has been kind to a lot of people on here and doesn't try to hurt anyone. He is wrong about the science and vaccines.

Sometimes it is harder to be kind than it is to be smart. For all of us. And I don't intend this as being righteous.

You think it’s funny to laugh about that? Especially children who were brought into it ?

Honestly, I liked the "sex ring" post - not because I was laughing about sex rings but because I was laughing at the implied ignorance of someone who confused a sex ring with an actual jewelry ring - the pun of it all.

Of course the idea of human trafficking is not something I find funny - while I disagree that people are laughing at others misfortune, I do agree with you that that misfortune sucks. But I wasn't viewing it as literal.

Also, in regard to the vaccines - you never answered my question, if God uses man to create a vaccine then shouldn't you be his sheep and follow? Or do you not follow God if he uses a man as his vehicle?

I hear what you are saying about vaccines having varying levels of success. Humans are not infallible. But many of those vaccines have saved lives and obliterated a number of diseases that would negatively impact lives. I think some skepticism is always warranted, but not all vaccines can be grouped together for their level of success.

Also, "You can't kill what is not living" is nothing exactly right. Maybe change the word to destroy instead of kill? I can destroy a computer so that it will no longer work, but it was never alive.

And of course you brought up one way to destroy the very thing you say is unkillable - your immune system. Your immune system can, in many cases, destroy a virus.

You are completely insane and have no idea youre talking about. You are using words and dont even have a basic understanding of what they mean.

1. What toxins? Name them. Lemme guess...aluminum
2. Multiple strains go into each seasonal flu vacc, wrong again.
3. The flu vaccine doesnt give you the flu, it’s impossible.
4. Your mark of the beast **** is just insane. You sound like a cult leader.

I can vouch for #1, its not toxic, on the contrary its protected me very well in my bunker and when I come home from the gym I can simply rinse it off instead of throwing my hat in the wash.

I never said it gives you the flu!
idk , I don’t want no mercury and formaldehyde in my body lmao. Plus the list of other crap they don’t tell you about !
The mark of the beast is from Revelations -

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

It really depends on the dosage though, too much water can kill you for example.

It doesn’t matter if he’s TRYING to hurt anyone or not. All he needs to do is to get one person to believe an ounce of whatever bs he’s spewing about and he has done harm.

You damn well know the stuff he’s said over the last few pages has been absolute insanity. You dont have to admit it, but I know you know.

sorry man, I know that sounds comfortable for you , but you better accept the Gospel because we will be judged

What if I said I met a Christian that claimed the devil sent us the CCP-Virus and god gave our scientists the gift to protect the masses?

I get it. And I get the frustration.

I get it. But also, I have encountered some nurses (while my brother was in the hospital recovering from heart surgery) who were condescending c*nts. The nurses in the icu were amazing, but the ones in the recovery unit couldn’t give a sh*t less about the patients they were watching.
People can suck no matter what their title is or position they fill. I don’t think anyone would dispute that! I will say OR and recovery units have a different culture than the rest of the hospital- and that’s pretty much universal. I absolutely hated doing clinicals in the OR, and I despise being called anywhere close to the OR for emergencies in my hospital to this day. I can’t stand the vibe...

On another note, I just got an email from work stating that it’s time to sign up for the 1st dose of the Pfizer China virus vaccine. Looks like I will be getting it Tuesday or Wednesday . They say it takes 1/2 hr - 15 minutes of which is mandatory observation after administration.

I work Tuesday and Wednesday, and the first 24 hrs after the dose has the potential to be pretty ugly! Maybe I should try to get it Tuesday so I can call out Wednesday!! 👍👍

I have been offered first round for it both with DoD and with the VA. I’m going to wait this one out. I just had the rona so my immune system should be good for awhile. I think the thing that might get me to take the vaccine is if it will exempt me from taking the test. I have taken 4 of those tests now and I will stick anything in my blood if it means not having to do those fucking swab tests. Military guidance has not provided an exemption for testing or quarantine so I’m out for now.

Pettruci is a great guitarist. Dream Theater has some good stuff, but can only take it for so long. A lot of it is really amazing to hear for the technicality of it all, but I wonder if someone who doesn't have any experience playing can really relate to it.

What I get a kick out of is that Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan really became famous for Mr. Big, hahaha. They are monsters and they were first known for crap like this:

I guess it is me, I see a lot of humor in this - especially since I think Gilbert is probably one of the top 10 or 15 guitarists of all time.

I dont get it, what does Mr. Big have anything to do with dream theater? Geeze just when I thought I got that song out of my head for life you come here and post that??? LOL

Petrucci and Gilbert are two of the greatest guitarists of our generation. They are linked in my mind. Along with Satriani, Vai, Yngwie, Eric Johnson...both toured with G3, they are just shred monsters. They also have a similar amount of technical prowess although I would suggest Gilbert is a little bit better. Ranking guitarists is always difficult because there are so many different ways to be good. Luca Stricagnoli is amazing, but is Satriani "better"? They are apples and oranges.

Gilbert and Pettruci are similar but unique. Both are amazing.

I was just pointing out how funny it is that Gilbert's mainstream fame comes from some cheesy 80/90's hair band where he probably wasn't even trying...and most people probably don't have a clue about his solo stuff, RacerX, etc.

Yeah I get it now, Im actually a fan of some hair metal, never Mr. Big. If your songs suck you fall off my personal greatest skill list, no good song you just have no technical ability, doesnt work that way but my rules, lol

Do you like Buckethead? If you think he has no soul I can provide evidence.

I guess I just see it as there is a group of guys who really came in and pushed the limits of the guitar. Vai, Satriani, Eric Johnson and then Pettruci, Gilbert after them...then there was kind of a fall off (although each of those guys continued to push) ...now I guess Tosin Abassi is the next generation...

On another note I have to investigate Giblerts career outside of Mr. Big as I am unaware. I just found a video called Blues for Rabbit and he is impressively good.

Well, here another one, Cleveland Indians will no longer be racist Indians.

I do like Buckethead. I think some people overrated him, but not his fault. He is great! A lot of people think he is hands down the greatest but they don't have the knowledge base of guitarists who are arguably better....

But better doesn't always mean most enjoyable. This was the beauty of Hendrix and who I consider his closest heir - EVH. He had a technical skill but still was accessible to the masses as a rock star. He came and pushed the envelope while still being playable on the mainstream radio and selling a bunch of records. I don't think anyone has quite accomplished that on all fronts with the closest exception being EVH. Plus EVH basically has the same band setup - a bass and a drummer and he played rhythm and lead and blended it all into one seamlessly.

But a skill few musicians are able to truly accomplish is to be able to play multiple styles proficiently without sounding like they are not being themselves. Gilbert is probably more that guy than almost anyone...Crap like Mr. Big (his solos there were still good, even though he was playing to cheese) and then RacerX and a then a song copying Yngwie, etc. Satriani has said that of all the people he has played with, Gilbert is the one who leaves him walking away with something new he wants to incorporate into his playing every time.

I am a guitar player and I don’t like listening to the technical playing of vai and the likes. I prefer shredders that have melody and the music has soul. Zakk Wylde is one of my all time favorites. You can feel his playing and his guitar is singing along. Guitar players like Sinister Gates, Zakk Wylde, Kirk Hammett, Adam D, Corey Beaulieu, and so many more have talent but don’t sacrifice the music for the sake of impressive chops.

That Gilbert stuff sounds really good, Ill be listening to more of him. He is pretty much avant-garde.

Buckethead couldnt care less about selling to maintream, he just likes to create music. Did you know he has over 300 studio albums?

This song here proves Buckethead can play with alot of emotion and feel, he just doesnt seem to go there alot.

Yeah, it can be tough. Satriani talks about this all the time - but I would hesitate to say that Vai, Satch, Gilbert, etc. Sacrifice the musicality for any of it. Particularly Satch - Vai is most likely the greatest guitarist on the planet though and while I don't agree that his technicality overtakes his musicality, he is on another plane and it cam be tough to take for long periods. His compositional skills are just beyond what is typical for what we hear in everyday music. He spent a lot of time learning from Zappa and he is "musical" but it is hard to relate to. It is very demanding and I can only take it in small bits. I can say that about Jazz and Paganini as well.

I think Sinister Gates is impressive- highly under rated. Some of their work and the alternative tunings he uses will make your head spin. Zak of course is on a level with Petrucci as well in my mind. I grew up playing Metallica and I really appreciate Kirk Hammett's abilities - and it is obvious he learned quite a bit from his ome-time guitar teacher, Joe Satriani.

Satriani points out how George Harrison is one of the most underrated guitarists ever for this very reason, he was always musical. But Satriani is the most musical of them all, his sense of melody is on a level all its own, yet he is often criticized for just playing a lot of notes. I think of all these guys, Satch is the most accessible. Just about anyone that commits a couple hours to listening to his stuff will be humming his music forever. Haha.

edit: "He is pretty much avant-garde." That was meant for the 2nd sentence and Buckethead, lol although it looks like Gilbert can be that too just a little bitty.

I think Buckethead has emotion...but sometimes it is hard to see the emotion if someone cannot relate to what is being played. For instance, I have spent A LOT of time playing Satriani and I can really relate to it. Vai, he can be tough. Gilbert makes my head spin. Yngwie forget it.

Steve Vai...well, he can be really tough but still turns around and does this...

I asked the Doctor at my FIL hospital to use a course of Ivermectin while they ran the remdesivir but it wasn’t about the viral load replication anymore. So, in HIS case it was to late.

This actually isn't all that new - it was discovered within the first few months (april/may-ish) - I have a 30 ml vial of it in my cabinet actually (veterinarian use). There are some trials underway for this and while I do think it may be useful, I'm not sure that's proven yet.

Nice move with the vet grade! If you watch the video it’s sounds very proven in many trials. But who cares it will never make the mainstream 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s pretty old news actually lol
