Big thanks to @nostrum420 for giving me the chance to provide the forum with some feedback on Ursa Major, a transdermal Ursolic Acid supplement.

As I previously mentioned, I was preparing for a powerlifting meet but dropped it to give myself some more headspace to focus on school. I had been weighing 195-198 but have given myself a diet break the last few weeks and lately I've been 205-208.

I'm training Pull Push Legs Off Repeat, with 30-45min of LISS on my stationary bike on off days. I'll be refocusing my diet to recomposition, which is where I'm hoping Ursa Major can come into play. I tend to maintain around 27-2800 calories so I'll carefully track that this next week and see what direction my weight creeps and make any adjustments from there. My starting macros will be around 275/275/60, spread though 4 meals and a snack.

With that all said: I have 4 bottles of Ursa Major. What would you all like to see me run this at? *edit* Will begin at 2mL and provide an application update*

I'll update tomorrow with beginning pictures and scale weight.

Try 2ml ED. That way you'll get about 2 months out of it. Then even if you decide to bump it up later, you should still get a good 6 weeks or so.

Alright, update time.

I started application yesterday at 2mL, split 1mL in the morning and 1mL in the evening, both after a shower. I applied 1mL this morning as well.

I used the dropper, measuring 0.5mL at a time, and dropped it in the palm of my hand and rubbed it over my shoulders and on the sides of my torso.

Yes, it smelled like essential oils. It took about a minute to fully dry then I put a shirt on. The smell wasn't too noticeable afterwards and was eventually non-existent. There was no greasy feeling and when I removed my shirt later on, I could not smell it on the shirt itself.

I don't have anything else to report on. I squatted 635 on Saturday and Im still feeling it. Today was a light pull day.

Meals today so far have been lean sirloin, spinach, and mushrooms when I woke up. Pancakes w/ a scoop of protein preworkout. And post-workout is protein ice cream and cereal. Dinner will be chicken wraps and potatoes and pre-bed will be casein mixed with greek yogurt.

Still only a few days in so there's not much for me to report. I'm hesitant to comment on any immediate changes from a supplement. I'll weigh-in tomorrow morning. I'm still applying 2mL on the mornings after a shower. No issues absorbing. Smell dissipates.

I've decided to partake in a once or twice weekly PSMF on my non-lifting days. It's no game changer but I can play with my calorie balance some.
 
Thanks to Apex Alchemy, I manscaped for the first time in my life lmfao I noticed some of the TD being leftover in my chest hair so I trimmed up the torso and I'm getting more skin surface area this way.

I'm maintaining my weight at 205-207 throughout the week, which has been my goal. I've noticed some increased vascularity throughout my legs, obliques, and arms. I will take this as signs that I'm beginning to get leaner.

Legs today. Started with a lying hamstring curl pyramid then I hit a squat PR of 505x10 then hit 505 for a paused set of 6 after. Then I went on and about made myself puke from a hack squat dropset then finished with stiff-legged deadlifts for sets of 8 with 405.

Tomorrow I'll be in clinicals so it'll make for an easy PSMF day then back into the gym Tuesday. I'll update some pics tomorrow evening.
 
Looking lean and mean! Nice squat numbers for sure!
 
Some morning vascularity. Im definitely leaning out a bit.

I'll say that I've noticed an endurance boost. I've been able to increase my average bike cadence by 15rpm along with increased resistance.Invalid Link Removed

I got out of the shower and was putting clothes on in front of my wife and she asks "how much weight have you lost?"

I asked what she means and she said "you look more lean. It's the abs"

I stepped on the scale and I have lost anything at all.

I'd say that in under 2 weeks, I've achieved a nice recomp effect.

Bodyweight was 204 this morning. Yesterday was a modified-fast, though, so I'd say I'm still hanging steady around 205 +/-. I'm back in my XL shirts for good. I was teeter-tottering back and forth. I'm becoming much more vascular. I pretty much have tree branch quad veins 24/7. I feel like I've added muscle mass yet I generally appear leaner.

Main lifts the last week:

Balls deep hack squats w/ 4.5 plates for 8s
Low pin rack pulls 5 plates x5x5
Bench 225x5x5 (anyone who knows me, knows that this is great lol)
SLDLs 415x8s

Edit: And my endurance. Cycling cadence is still up even through increasing time. I jump roped before clinicals the other morning for a bout of 60 skips/rest 30s/repeat for 12 minutes and I surprisingly didn't die

i remember when i ran ursolic acid and the same thing happened to me and another logger who was running it at the same time as me... we both saw weight hold steady while loosing body fat. this is as good as a natural anabolic as any!~
 
So my plan is to bump this up to 3mL because I think it's pretty awesome.

I'm going to chill around my maintenance for another 2 weeks and reap the recomp gains. I have family in town halloween weekend so after that, I'll begin my cut. Around that time, I'll likely add in the Epichaos and once I get a bit deeper in it, add the AET.

ah ok i see now.. you know i am the prime canidate to tell you the answer as my prostate is a bit enlarged at the moment. I further dug around and for that a combination of this and curcumin can starve cancer cells in the prostate..

i can tell you that i am currently on curcumin and hadn't notice much of a change, but this combo will be tried by me and maybe i can report back in real time what i experience.

I'm wrapping up one of my classes this week so my online time has been limited the last few days. It'll lighten up this week (thankfully).

The last week I have been dosing 3mL in the morning. My bodyweight is 205. I'm fitting better in my larger (XL) shirts while still remaining the same waist size Ive been in the last year (ranging from 180-210lbs), though with the thighs fitting tighter, in a good way.

I can now tell some hardness after application, especially through my chest when flexed.

My strength and endurance in higher rep ranges ranges has been great. 5 plate hack squats followed with 405 for sets of 10 on squats. Increasing reps on my bench. Rack pulls with 5 plates off lower pins than previous weeks.

Maintaining body weight and getting more jacked-er.

Apex-Alchemy related; my wife is using Helios and has surprisingly adhered to using it daily. She's terrible with taking supps but the fact that it's TD helps since it doesn't add onto her polypharmacy of pills.

Ursa has met all it's expectations, IMO. I've maintained bodyweight this entire time all while I have noticed some visual fat loss and other markers of "leanness" that I don't typically see unless I'm under 200lbs. I've also increased my cardio work capacity in throughout all intensities.

The fact that it's TD has some pro/cons.

Pros- (aside from the obvious bioavailability concerns ursolic acid has had), it doesn't add onto the supplement cabinet. It can be less hassle in that regard.

Cons-It can leave a slight greasy feel for a short period after application. I gotta stay shirtless for a bit after application. I worry about skin/skin contact with my kids after application but that's remedied by morning application and applying in body parts covered by clothing. But, this is all to be expected with any TD and something you accept.

I'll call it 4.5.
 
I wanted to clear something up, there should be no issue with cross contamination here, at least with this product. for you its like eating a bunch of apples and if you some how got it on your kid he/she wouldnt need to go to the dr for a while.. ( a apple a day keeps the dr away) and lastly, as i understand it, NOS made the carrier to finish with a protective layer keeping anything from rubbing off. obviously this doesn't take away the dry time you go through but i felt it good info to have in your arsenal.

You're a good man, Charlie Brown. I appreciate the insight a lot.

And to just state again: I personally have no problems with the "cons" I listed but it wouldn't be a transparent log if I didn't say to expect some drying time and smell for a bit.

Wrapped up my harded class last week. More classes began today and I'll have less time in the gym so I've switched from my 6 day PPL to a Meadows inspired upper/lower.

My morning wakeup weight is 204. My vascularity is up. My endurance is up. Strength in higher rep ranges is still doing good. I'm actually hesitant on beginning my fat loss phase next week and may wait another 2 weeks. I want to ride this "recomp" wave while while I can. I'm pretty sure that'll empty me out of Ursa Major as well.

I'll get some pics tomorrow. I had some GI distress and am pounding fluids and imodium.

Getting a nice pump in the quads and/or calfs is the best. Nice vascularity.
 
I honestly have the same updates as I have been. This has been a very successful recomp and Im still not ready to commit to a calorie deficit yet just because I appreciate how I look.

On my weight belt, I've typically been 1.5" above my 180lb hole. But in the last week I've realized I'm actually down to that belt hold I used when I weighed 180...all while remaining 205 bodyweight.

I've been able to increase strength, fit into larger clothes, and decrease my waist size.

I believe I have 1.5wks left of this. I'll likely purchase more at any potential sale.
