2 Los Angeles County Sheriffs Deputies were shot in the head last night, while they sat in their unit in the city of Compton....i believe they are both in critical condition...one may have passed away...

He is saying to make sure the vote is counted, so if they cant find your vote by mail then vote in person.

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A massive search for a gunman is underway as two Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies are "fighting for their lives" after they were shot in the head in an ambush at the Metro station in Compton, officials say.

The incident happened Saturday at the Metro Blue Line station at Willowbrook Avenue and Compton Boulevard around 7 p.m. The location is a short distance from the Compton sheriff's station.


Surveillance video of the shooting shows the suspect ambush the deputies as they sat in the patrol vehicle.

A man clad in dark clothing walks up to the parked vehicle at the Metro station, approaches the window on the passenger's side and fires several times at close range. The suspect then runs off on foot. One deputy is seen emerging from the passenger side and stumbling around on foot for several seconds before the video ends.

Both deputies sustained multiple gunshot wounds and underwent surgery at a local hospital. They were described as alive but in critical condition.

"That was a cowardly act," Sheriff Alex Villanueva said. "The two deputies were doing their job, minding their own business, watching out for the safety of the people on the train."

"To see somebody just walk up and start shooting on them. It pisses me off. It dismays me at the same time. There's no pretty way to say it."

This is the time to get vocal about supporting police. Let them know you have their backs and that they are not alone.

Its still silly to me, if voting in person is the way to have your vote security accounted for then just tell people to skip the mail in and just show up and vote.
 
Went up to Montana and Idaho this week and it was great to see all the support for the President! I bought two Trump hats from the gas station and the cashier asked if I wanted a bag. I replied, “yes, please. My friend is a liberal and she’ll get mad at me.”

kind of a sick time to say this as a 24 year old male deputy and 36 year old mother are fighting for their lives-eh? yes, one of the deputies those sickos are yelling they hope die is a mother.

The article I posted this morning was that they both had emergency surgery already but are in critical condition.

Hope they make it out well, this just isnt fair.

this from LA times...deputies are out of surgery and expected to survive-sheriff alex villanueva called their condition 'double miracles'...one was shot in the face and the other in the head.

I haven’t heard any news yet today, so I am quite upset this happened. I think we all knew it was just a matter of time. This country is a very sad place and these people have completely lost their sense of humanity and cant see how evil they really are. Hopefully, this will be a turning point..

Eradicating BLM would be a good start.

The same thing happened one night in Portland, Maine a few months ago when the protests/riots first started. EMS couldn’t get through the crowds to get patients to our largest hospital in the state (not mine) for procedures that only they offer. Critically ill patients were in a holding pattern until LifeFlight could helicopter them in. While that extra time could have cost lives, it also costs significantly more money and the hospital has to flip the bill. Everyone at my work was so pissed!
 
I’m waiting for our NZ law enforcement expert to chime in on how the incident in LA County could have been avoided if we policed like they do in his country.
 
on social media liberals are condoning and making excuses for this unprovoked cowardly attack.

If you are a cop nowadays you better just find a quiet corner and pull up some shows on your phone and catch up on whatever the latest series is showing.

The good news is that people should gain more insight into the true colors of BLM, or at least what the domino effect of their rhetoric causes.

Not that I could stomach it before, but how can any US citizen put BLM paraphanalia on their front lawn in good conscience after this?

Remember, this was Trump's original stance. He thinks it is ridiculous too. He tried to stop the voting by mail because he said it was an issue. The Dems swore up and dowm fraud and lost votes and double votes are not an issue and there is no evidence it happens. Now they are saying the fraud is his fault. It is insane.

On the BLM note, I hope people come to their senses soon after seeing this like @Ricky10 suggests, but I doubt it. Insanity and stupidity have no limits. Take advantage of your 2A rights is my advice.

Yeah, I don’t think this will make an impact on the destruction and violence caused by active die hard protestors and rioters. They will just see this police shooting as a small victory and that the deputies got what they deserved. They are surely loving this.

I am more hopeful that the small town soccer (pre COVID) moms that have only seen a black person because they used to watch the Tryra Banks talk show- will reconsider what they are blindly supporting by putting a BLM sign on their front lawn. It would make me very happy to drive through my town tomorrow and see a majority of these signs taken down. In fact, I will be deeply disappointed and disturbed if people don’t take them down.

Biden’s tweet said, “weapons of war have no place in our communities.”

“We need to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines.”


The deputies were shot with a handgun and the gunman only fired a few shots. His statement has zero relevance to this incident. Not to mention criminals don’t follow the law anyway.

Biden is an idiot.

lol...the metoo movement died when soccer moms realized they had sons as well as daughters--they are pretty naive, but not totally brain dead.

my younger sister is a former soccer mom who lives in indianapolis, and it freaked her out when she heard about biden/harris wanting to put section 8 housing in suburbs......i sold her a 9mm for a buck, and now she goes to the range once a week at least.
 
Truth be told: For months now, I have entertained the idea of getting up in the middle of the night and removing or destroying them myself. I never got around to working out the details though, it would have to be a very stealth mission. Or would it?

If the police happen to catch me in the act, they might actually join me...especially now!

This would be a great time for all the BLM leaders to step up and join the other BLM movement (blue) and condemn the LA incidence along with all violence and find out how to move forward with real solutions that doesn't take away the liberties while empowering the liberties of their own.

Unfortunately that would be naive for me to even assume a thought of that would come about, and I know Id make a great BLM leader but my skin pigment is not qualify and Ill be discriminated against to join their political clan.
